In fact I'd say targeting top young talent is the best way for BVB and Bayer - they are very attractive for that group as they offer minutes and opportunities in the BL and CL. They will make a profit to buy more top talent and once in a blue moon when all stars align they will advance to the top club tier for a season or a couple. Bayer is stuck in that position, but if BVB saved up enough to start building a new stadium they might bridge the gap to Bayern at least partly. I liked what they did now, dropping Brandt and Adeyemi to get new forwards. Now just need to sell Guirassy to complete the change

Elversberg was completely outstanding for real, they outperformed Leverkusen and deservedly snatched all 3 points in an impressive fashion but we can't bank on them just yet. It's just the start. The problem is not having a good performance at the beginning, the question is can they maintain the performance till the end of the season?

A newly promoted team winning Leverkusen already shows how inconsistent other teams are. Let's see if the almighty Elversberg can survive Monchengladbach  
I'll start to take them seriously if they can overcome their next two fixtures Borrussia Monchengladbach and Bayern Munich.

I personally think Elversberg will snatch many points at home.

Two of the three teams promoted from the 2. Bundesliga have already found out how tough the Bundesliga is. Schalke lost and Bremen lost as well. The only promoted team to actually win was Elversberg — and they did it against Leverkusen! What a surprise. I don't think anyone saw that coming.

I'm not sure I'd write Elversberg off completely after one round. Yes, beating Leverkusen was impressive, but promoted teams often start well and then struggle once opponents figure them out. The real test will be the next few games, especially away from home. I'd still put them in the relegation conversation, but I wouldn't be surprised if they pick up enough points at home to survive. Do we know anything about their squad depth, though? That usually tells the story better than one result.

Augsburg is a better team than Schalke 04 who just returned to the Bundesliga, I was expecting Schalke to try and get at least a draw, so that they will not go two matches without winning, but they couldn’t withstand Augsburg, they conceded three goals in the match and they will now face Bayern Munich in their next league game, and at this point, I think they will go back to the bottom of the table because Bayern Munich will score them a lot of goals which is why I think they will go back to the bottom of the table if due to high number of goals they will concede. They have already conceded 3 goals, and Bayern Munich had scored five goals in their first match of the season, and this is the reason why I think they will score Schalke as many goals as possible.

Borrusia Dortmund generate plenty of income by selling their players to other top tier teams for a high fees. Since they wouldn't be able to win the bundesliga, isn't it better that they fetch money through selling of their players? Bundesliga title has been made for Bayern munich although Bayer leverkusen managed to win it in the previous seasons, I don't think they can't win again in a long time. Bayern Munich has no chance of losing in the Bundesliga. Just look at their performance this year. They're destroying every team and scoring goals without mercy. They never stop and convert every opportunity into a goal. I think Bayern Munich will clinch the league title more easily and earlier this year. I think they will focus more on the Champions League this year, because they don't want to experience the feeling of being eliminated in the semi-finals last year.

That sounds quite optimistic and I think what those promoted teams often benefit from, is the surprise effect. Sometimes they survive the first season only to then get destroyed, but it could as well be that this effect only holds for a few games. Leverkusen is not the same Leverkusen anymore and I think that should be taken into account. It is not like Elversberg has beaten Bayern. I agree that Elversberg probably got a nice boost in confidence from this because this first game has an impact on how a team perceives themselves, but I wouldn't count on Elversberg becoming a superpower on home turf now The statistics have still been in favour of Leverkusen, but it took the way too long to come back into the game.

Bayern vs. Stuttgart is what I thought would happen. The season is already over, lol. Most results were expected so far I think except for Elversberg and maybe Hoffenheim was supposed to be better than that. But it is one game and still doesn't say much. Stuttgart doesn't have to be too concerned either. They are by far not the first team that got destroyed in this first game against Bayern and then still played a good season. Bremen was very bad, probably the club that should be concerned the most because of their performance.

I have the same thought on bayern munich as well. From the new season champions league draw, bayern is very lucky. Arsenal is the most challenging team in their way. Athletico Madrid will try to be sturbon but bayern munich can still win. Rest of the teams should be an easy win game for them including Manchester United. From the eight games, Bayern munich should comfortably win at least 5 out of the 8. Depending on which team they face in the round of 16, but I still don't see them finding it difficult to get to the quarter final. The Bundesliga is their birthright, no negotiation about it.
