Things have basically been "up" for Bitcoin for a while now, and chances are they're going to keep going up, even though we're technically still down from 2013. But 2013 was an anomaly anyways, so it doesn't really matter all that much in the grand scheme of things aside from setting the ATH.

Once prices fell because of hacking bitfinex bitcoin price should rise. That's only if you buy a bitcoin is necessary to do it now, otherwise it will not be possible until the end of the year.

Yes every year we hope that bitcoin is going to get better, i thought that 2016 will be the golden year, with the halving event and many speculation, unfortunately up until now is still under my prediction but it sure get better than last year, but there is still hope, usually bitcoin is going to raise in the end of the year, where the flow of transaction is quite peak when near Christmas time

This year a lot of bitcoin has experienced upheaval and already well that after a huge depreciation after breaking bitfinex, bitcoin has again gone up. The truth is not as fast as we would like. But $ 1,000 this year we will not see.

I have to disagree as we all were thinking that bitcoin price will reach more than 1000 usd per coin during this year which clearly didn't happen so far. There are still some few months but I believe the price of bitcoin will stay in this level 550-650 and will not break this limit. I am hoping though that maybe the year 2017 will really be the year of bitcoin and maybe the bitcoin price will even pass through the 2000-s usd per coin.
All the people in any signature campaign now should become very lucky by then if this really happens.
