2016, The Year of Bitcoin?

yes 2016 is an year of bitcoin we have seen halving this year and a great price increase in the bitcoin and still 5 months left in this year.
So surely that was an year of bitcoin

but you should know that after halving came a few days ago. bitcoin prices have not increased significantly as said by many people. I think is it halving not give any effect on the price of bitcoin? I'm still hoping that higher prices could rise this year

 after halving it will take few months to increase price of bitcoin , i think halving effect will be appears in few month until wait for increasing it price and i am sure that bitcoin will going to rise up its price sooner .

but in my mind the bitcoin value will stable for a few months for now because before halving the standard if bitcoin price is under $500 and after halving or in, this time, the standard of bitcoin price is stand in the $650, because it I can assuming the bitcoin price will stable for some months later.

I have to agree, but it is because it is becoming more stable and more people are learning and using the Bitcoin currency.  It is great that this is happening, but I do not see it raising much more in the year 2016.  Just my opinion though.

Weeks before and after the halving many are expecting for a surge of price of bitcoins but it never happened. Well at least it stabilize and will not fall down.

it is not all about the price, the thing that most people are looking for when saying the year of bitcoin is the adoption and the more merchants that start accepting bitcoin that year. although price has proven to be so helpful in this situation. when the price goes up steadily there is always a lot of good publicity in the news for bitcoin which is always good.

Well, it's good, in this time we can saw the price increases a lot and getting the stabilization, from $400 until $650 in my minds it's good progress for bitcoin and I sure the continues of bitcoin rising will appear in the next year.

Are you not monitoring the price now, where did you see that the price is rising gradually, FYI the price is dropping a bit now and that is so alarming for those who have been holding their bitcoins waiting for the price increase due to the halving that has took effect last month.

Yes really bitcoin is on the rise from the downturn a few years ago. Bitcoin growing again this year and I'm sure 2016 will increase and there will be more users bitcoin. But at the moment the price is reduced and I hope that prices will return to normal soon and go back up. It seems to me still reasonable as long as do not fall too far.
