After halving, I hope Bitcoin can break previous highs and stable at around US$1000.  So this is the time to invest in Bitcoin for short term gains.

do you think bitcoin can reach US$1000 after halving, how much have you invested in bitcoin till now. i really doubt it will reach those figures after halving. if it does, it is really great

I think it has some big potential to be so, Bitcoin is already gaining more grounds and getting more adoption right now, with the halving incoming as well it could be a big year for bitcoin in both the adoption and the price fields.

We are only at roughly 6 billion marketcap for an asset that has the potential to hit the trillions.. do the math. Even stuff like Uber is 50 billions.
1 BTC will be $10,000 faster than everyone in here is ready to imagine because otherwise your mind would blow up like a bomb, so as a natural protection you just stay a bit pessimistic or "realistic" and most people don't have the ability to see that.

Dont think so. Im more prone to a alt year. BTC and LTC will remain stationary while alts will get all the focus

Your assumptions may be right from trading point of view but as far as users base is concerned,I also have gut feeling that by the end if this year,Bitcoin users will be almost double than they are today

Patience is required till the halving only then can grab a good profit. This weekend the price might cross $425 as the price is within $425 for a long time.

Bitcoin will have a good year in 2016, you can see now that Bitcoin will be more acceptable in some stores.

It would definitely be there at our local stores to be accepted for purchase anything but require some time to establish, we need to introduce it to everyone in our local community, so it will happen.

Bitcoin halving but don't forget the size issue.  It'll be already good enough if we don't lose the biggest part of the value of btc. It's a very risky year so not the year for global adoption (in my opinion).

Yeah global adoption is not possible in this year as it will take a long time for that, but we will be seeing higher price by the end of the year 2016.

The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.

The fork issue is a distraction. It won't kill bitcoin. The majority will eventually choose what fork they want to use, whether it is the original, or XT, or some third option.

I see the fork issue as silly infighting which only hurts bitcoin. I want bitcoin to succeed, that's what I care about, not what version of BTC I use. I will go with the majority, whichever fork is chosen.

My opinion is 360 $, best price bitcoin will be at in 2016
