Although all problematic events, such as the bitfinex hack, bitcoin has shown good levels of recovery and is being able to stay at good levels in the market. I believe this can be a decisive year to the cryptocurrency.

Price is expected to go higher in the end of the year, so keeping that in mind I am trying to collect as much as I can to take better benefits and I would be much satisfied if it touches $800 in the end of the year.

I hear a lot people say "it is expected that this or that will happen". But what I don't seem to understand, is by 'who' is it expected that the price will go up for example? I never get a proper answer on that.

2016 is the year of bitcoin for me. Because the halving is happened on 2016 and it's make the price of bitcoin become increase up to 2 times and i don't think 2017 can be same like 2016.

Lol there are still people who think and hope that the price could rise as halving happen lol. we're very far from halving halving but until now did not give any effect. I think try to start forgetting halving. changes in prices in bitcoin depends on demand

I could tell you that I can use smart contracts to send an automatic TX to the flower company the morning of my wedding anniversary, embedding in the Meta data my exact order and address, and that I can arrange this TX and fund it anytime prior to that date and time and people will love it.  Start to explain the mechanics and how to accomplish this and we lose the crowd.  To someone that has barely ever touched a computer, an ad for a 256 MB USB drive and an ad for a 256 GB USB drive sound the same.  More basic education and more information and the price will shoot up because you follow that education with all the things that Bitcoin can do that is impossible with FIAT.

Yes we should be, we must be consider this year a good year of bitcoin because dumps are normal even in USD there are also down fall when there is financial crisis. But base on what we are seeing in the state of bitcoin today, it has really a good and stable price at all and we can say that it is getting strong and possibly it can pump to a higher state.

We are speculating almost the same thing and that why we are here because we are trully believing on bitcoin, as you said bitcoin price dumps are just normal which is correct and its  a normal thing since there are many factors  affect its price movement but  for sure bitcoin price would eventually rise gradually because   we cant stop the adoption of it  in upcoming years.

everyyear is a good year for bitcoin for as long as there is a good price rise which shows the growth of bitcoin even if it is a small rise and also as long as there is some real growth and adoption for bitcoin. and this year has been great so far becaus of a lot of adoption that happened this year and the price has also gone up a lot.

You are right and in that year we not only saw the price of bitcoin to be doubled but it also remained in stability for a good time period and I like the stability of bitcoin because with that more people like to put their money in it and more people like to start their business with bitcoin and once again the price has started to increase up.

bitcoin is going to be a more stronger currency so we cannot say that it will be a weaker again and will fall again. Now we are seeing that people are investing in this currency and they are using it as a currency also so thsi currency/bitcoin will not fall again.

hm, I wouldn't say that 2016 is was the year ofthe bitcoin. yes, the price has gone up and a lot more people have adapted it, in that case yes. But in the case of just the price 2013 was the year when btc got up to 1k$. I think 2017 and 2018 would be the year when the bitcoin explodes.
