after the bitcoin halving it seems like nothing change the price range up to 600-700 dollar stable price for bitcoin itself looks impossible to increase up to 1000 dollar you know bitcoin are global currency it depends for how people will buy bitcoins for real if bitcoin will become famous in year 2017 probably bitcoin will be 100% use to any online / shop store

I totally agree with you, I want bitcoin to succeed. And I am also looking forward for 2016.
i agree with you that bitcoin really going to to succeed and i hope so that bitcoin will be double up its price. I think bitcoin has included successful because bitcoin is already able to live a few years from 2009 and until now bitcoin has millions of users and has a high price. saa think it can be said successful. I do not think that this year is the year of the greatest. but every year will be great for bitcoin |

Probably this is the best year so far, 2016 has a great record as it doubles the opening price in this year alone and considering that we have at least 5 months to end this year we might see another skyrocket of price again as the halving effect was not yet felt by the investors.
this year is not one and realistic price should be over 1000 by end of this year Maybe even more after new year over 1500 I think if you think that this year will be the year of bitcoin if the price could go up and touch the price between $ 1000- $ 1500. I think this year is not the year of bitcoin. because it would be very difficult for bitcoin to be increased 2-fold within one year. $ 650 to $ 1,500. I think it is something quite impossible |

This year have a great impact on value of bitcoin it was double before the halving and now the price is quietly stable. I think we can say that 2016 is good year for bitcoin community and we are hoping that the following year will be much better than now.

This year have a great impact on value of bitcoin it was double before the halving and now the price is quietly stable. I think we can say that 2016 is good year for bitcoin community and we are hoping that the following year will be much better than now.
It is a good year so far because the price is significantly high but we need not to be calm because we still have months before the end of this year and I believe anything can happen both possibly and the good one and the bad one. |

The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.
The fork issue is a distraction. It won't kill bitcoin. The majority will eventually choose what fork they want to use, whether it is the original, or XT, or some third option.
I see the fork issue as silly infighting which only hurts bitcoin. I want bitcoin to succeed, that's what I care about, not what version of BTC I use. I will go with the majority, whichever fork is chosen.
no i dont think so .2020 will bethe year of bitcoins. the competition will reach to its maximum level. |

With the special event of halving every user expected 2016 to be the year of bitcoin, but the price rise was felt over weeks back to halving. Possibly as there is no upcoming special events till 2020, 2020 seems to be the year of bitcoin.

I introduced bitcoin this year, and I`m asking myself am I late? Here on forum I read about future of bitcoin, and some members talking that bitcoin can worth much more. For me even this price now is high, I work for much less every month.
Maybe this is a year of bitcoin, just I`m not aware of that. How many people didn't heard nothing about bitcoins, and other virtual currencies? I think bitcoin need to become more popular in order we to say its a year of bitcoin.

i totally agree with all three statements. bitcoin XT is a debate which turned into a harmful argument for bitcoin but it will be resolved eventually and it definitely won't kill bitcoin!! and as for 2016 i think especially because of the halving and an stable market ($220-260 for a long time) this year it will start going up. I know all of us waiting for that day, But still we can't predict when will be happen? Though we are hoping that the price of bitcoin will turn back at 1000$ that's why we still keep holding it, and while waiting it we do some trading. I wish that day the year of bitcoin will come as soon as possible. Because bitcoin for me is dependable as gold.  |

2016 is the year of bitcoin to stabilize its monetary price or value at 700$.
Weeks before and after the halving many are expecting for a surge of price of bitcoins but it never happened. Well at least it stabilize and will not fall down.
It's also time to save your bitcoins for another turn of price increase next year since I believe that ,2017 is also a year that bitcoin will increase its price.
