Don't get the word out too much yet, hehe.  Swing is a goldmine for those who are in it right now.  Grin

Just kidding, it's just my greedy self speaking. Yes, it would be great to get some more exposure for Swing and introduce the coin to a greater audience.

Frigging rights SWING is a goldmine for anyone who has gotten into this coin early on Smiley I'm honestly surprised that we haven't had clone after clone after clone of this coin yet!! That just blows my mind because the entire concept is just awesome!!

I've been doing some testing with wallets that have around 600-700 each. They still will combine the inputs even the the nStakeCombineThreshold is 1000. Does anyone know why that is?

Just guesswork and theory here, but I would assume that it's not advantageous to allow staking inputs to get too small.

Just guesswork and theory here, but I would assume that it's not advantageous to allow staking inputs to get too small.

I had the inputs at 100 for some and 200 for other wallets.

I still have two running with 600 each and they have weights of 962 and 888. They both have already staked once each, splitting an input of 200.

I also am experimenting with two other wallets with 200 in each. The first has one input of 200. The other has five inputs of 20 an ten inputs of 10. So far I've found that weight climbs faster for larger inputs. I was under the impression that more and smaller inputs gained weight faster, but maybe I was wrong.

Alright guys, chart released and website cleaned up a little to go with it.

Check it out!

Swing Expected Rewards vs Price vs Total Supply

TrySwing.com

or

TrySwing.com/chart

So the latest info is this.

I've been chatting with a couple developers about having that chart made.

(The one that compares price vs. expected reward vs. total supply)

I'm trying to get to the point where one of them says they can do it for certain and is ready to start. Once we get to that point I'll let you guys know. The one I'm trying to work with is asking for 1 btc and I have previous experience working with him. The other is asking for 2 btc and is currently my backup.

Aside from that Shapetwist has been perusing some interesting additions for swing, though I believe none have progressed enough to start getting anyone excited about.

Lastly shapetwist and I have been talking about overhauling the website. This one shouldn't be too hard and is likely to hit before anything else.

If you want to help with any of this or get involved in any way, just come chat in slack or IRC!  Smiley

So we went with the one looking for 1btc that I've worked with in the past. He was kind enough to work towards getting our chart live before the 1 BTC was raised.

Any help pulling together the btc is extremely helpful in this situation. 0.1 here and .05 there adds up fast. If you appreciate his work on our new chart, consider showing him some support.

1E6soVzn7Z5NGguwD9sZfXkVmn8a51Cg71

Some additional cool info:

The dev has stated that he is willing to entertain the idea of upgrading the chart with more data/features once it's been paid off just for the sake of making it better.

Once we pull together his 1btc and get him paid we can likely get some more stats added to the chart such as:

Trade volume
Order depth
Net Hashrate
Net Difficulties
Number of connected parties
Number of Coins being moved
On-Click events opening Chainz BE details for specific blocks
etc.. etc.. (Your ideas welcome here!)

I'm sure you guys can think up more possibilities and the thought of getting more data excites me, hopefully you guys too.

Anyway, happy to hear constructive feedback at this point. I'm already using the chart like crazy with 1 day of data recorded, hopefully you guys find it as useful as I do.

Great work! Anybody who can pitch in to help for the website too would be great. A coin is only as strong as its community.

Thanks quantumgravity,

Yeah So far we've raised a total of 0.05 BTC / 1.00 BTC. I'm just going to pay him whatever is left in the next day or two. It will knock out just about all of my BTC so help covering this is appreciated and helps me work towards next steps down the road.

Another look at the chart with more data.

Remember the chart dev said he'd consider adding in more data once paid. I'm thinking about asking to play with volume, net hash rate &or difficulty, network weight, and number of coins moved on the network.

If you're iterested in these additions please help us reach our 1 BTC goal!

That chart is sexy as hell, and most important: very useful.

I will chip in a little bit too once I have wallet access. I recommend we all do the same. Little by little, more improvements and innovations can be accomplished by the community.

This is one of the best staking coins I've come across. Buy some and stake, people!

Weight does climb faster for larger inputs by the way. We found that out the hard way back in Greed when I tried to launch with 10 seed coins. Didn't go well.   Lips sealed

I sent 0.05btc.
I invite other-each payment will be valuable and help in further development.

Thanks! Helps a lot.

I'll be paying the dev whatever is left shortly. Going to talk to him about getting more data after the holiday today.

As far as supernet radio goes.

I was previously reached out to by them and given an "Open Invite" to come on the show when I wanted. I've reached back out to them and have no heard back yet, so I'll try other methods of contact. I was also asked to go on Crypto After Dark roughly the first week of swing but was too focused on making sure it was all running smoothly. I'll reach out to him as well and see if the offer can be re-opened.

Maybe we can get on the air and get some new interested traders!

Anyone else have ideas for Swing?

One of the community members brought up the idea of a MultiPool.

For those that don't know what that is, It would mine other coins (whatever is most profitable), sell them, use the btc to buy swing, then pay the miners in Swing.

Thoughts on this?

Multipool is a great idea...

Still hard to believe this one is so cheap to buy really. The supply is crazy low and inflation is controlled really well.
Its a staking machine and has moved right up the list as one of my favourite POS coins. This one is a keeper.

Good luck with the radio tasks, that can only help get the word out there.

Thanks for the input!

I guess I'll start looking into multipools and ways to get one.

I've helped run a regular pool in the past but never a multipool.

The radio shows would be great for SWING!

A multipool will only do good things for SWING as well!

Agreed with everything. Multipool is smart.

Staking is flawless.

As for the price according to supply... I think it's unbelievable... 5k? Yet again, most of the supply is out of market, due to super staking.

Let's get that word out on the radio. I've sent some kind of press release to a number of news sources too. Would be important if more people do that.

And again, I insist on the translations (russian/chinese/portuguese/spanish) and publications on other forums. Hell, we might as well get our own forum too.

Try to support the work done too: blockexplorer, website, chart; and the on-going projects. This is clearly community oriented, so try to give a bit in exchange for the awesome coin you have here.

Unique coin, fantastic staking, still cheaper to get in, great - small - community. This is going absolutely great. Props!

For sure!! I'll be building the SWING multipool this week so we can have it on the website. A mining calculator on the site would be useful as well.

Translations are a great idea! Looking at the node geolocation, there are hardly any in Asia. Getting some exposure on chinese forums would do wonders for the coin. Anybody speak mandarin?

Great feedback guys. I'm excited about the multipool! Will make for some nice automated buy pressure.

I'll dig through my inbox a little later and post all the translation / other service offers I've gotten so we can consider them as a collective
