I just ordered an paid for a Batch 3 from the antpool site.  We'll see what happens.

Looked like batch 7 was going back in and out of sale again.

Can you provide the link for the antpool site?

I would give them a call before you do anything...1-844-248-6246

Try this too:  info@bitmaintech.com

Thx Guys. i got it sorted. The controller is on it's way to Denver. With some luck i could have it back by mid next week. I just hope i don't have the same experience hawkfish007 reported when he got his back. Man that really sucks for him.

BitmainWarranty in Denver will take care of you. I had a couple of issues with some S5s and I had parts within 2 days of talking to them. Nice to have support here in the US.

About the resale value of the S7 (or any other miner) :
We have the halving ahead of us! Who knows what happens for miners after that?

Were those 3 x S7's you have connected together done with factory 18 pin ribbon cables, J4bberwock 18 pin ribbon cables or 18 pin ribbon cables you made yourself?

These are S5+ cables

Did you attach any fans to those PSU?  From what I recall I don't think those PSU have fans of their own.

Yes. 2x 12cm fan

I had my S7 port forwarded and I can't connect to it anymore, does it mean someone must have changed the password to it ??
How can I retrive it's password ?

Exactly...

I had an S5 of mine hacked into once when mining on Slush.  I don't know if they did it through Slush or what.  Ever since then [About a year ago] I no longer left factory password on there.

I don't think it's temp related.  It is frequency related from my experience with units from 3 different batches.

I would be more concerned with your network security; most routers default to almost 0 security ( as this will be slightly faster and most consumers only care about speed. )

just combine 2 in 1 .... 6 blades using 1 controller board, both same batch 5 same blade ver #.

noticed that it runs slower than individual controller with 3 boards .... hmmm thoughts ?

i always change the pwd when i get the new shiny miners.

yes, i do agree it's related towards more to freq for hw errors not temps but talking abt temp, i find it that they work best around 60 deg C

batch 5 i got v1.3 boards but my batch 3 i got v 1.6 boards ...hmmmm

On another note, with all these ' Batches' being all random Hash rates. I'm guessing their fab process and hardware is just total crap and can not maintain an engineered and standardized output.

Looks like they are testing a few then slapping a # on it then moving to another set. Laughable.. Only in CHINA.... Cheesy
No wonder everything from there is utter sheyt and brakes in no time.

Go Big or Go Home.
