Gambling is the absolute worst. If I didn't gamble Bitcoin then I would have a few BTC by now. But, it is fun and I am too much of a cheapskate to to lose too much. $20 here and there really adds up. But so does Starbucks.
If you can control your emotions and keep gambling to a source of entertainment then it wont hurt you much. But most people get addicted to gambling and the temptation that they can become rich easily with just a couple rolls of dice. You should know when to stop gambling without putting your own life to stake and hence the greed should be controlled. |

Gambling isn't wrong if the person knows when to stop Gambling on something. Gambling is a hobby type of thing and the people who like to gamble usually get the right answer when they try to choose the winning result without much research.
If the Gambler researched more than he gambled then there is a chance that he would make right decisions rather than relying on the Gamble to choose his answer.
Gambling is also bad when there’s a little kid around.

I don't think there is anything wrong in gambling if you are gambling for fun with small amount but if you are depending on gambling for living and if that is the only your primary source of income then its a big risk and that will surely affect you in long run.
I swear man i sometime feel really bad and depressed thinking of people who actually just live on gambling. And ya the problem which i have notice with many people is they start with an small amount and get a profit so because of this they invest more and get addicted. If they are investing less and are earning high then they are not going bad and we cannot say them as addict and on bad way but if they will spend more money and will lose them and continue then we will call them addict as they do not feel their harm. |

Gambling without needing to observe the surroundings is a very bad sign that the person needs gambling intervention. I wonder if there's any gambling rehab for people, I wonder how that works...
Bitcoin gambling is one of the things that allow people to not really care so much about Bitcoin because there is a limited amount of coins that could be played with because Bitcoin is pretty tough to get.
Bitcoin gambling helped me out so I know from experience.

True. Gambling can destroy lives and reputation of people. Gambling can make people mad in winning and will do almost anything just to win. Some squeeze people to the last drop of their penny, some Rob banks and some is getting bankrupt. So do you still think this is right when it happens to people.
Gambling may provide you some excitement and fun. As long as you can bear and accept defeat with moral attitude there is nothing wring with it. As long as you still have the sense of mind that " it was just a game ", there is nothing wrong with it. But if you started losing yourself. Succumb to guilt and greed leading to immoral deeds, bankruptcy and losing your family then there is something wrong.
Being wrong and right, when you step into the world of gambling these notions will always be in between.

I will bring the third option from your comments, gambling is not wrong as long as we can set the tempo at every opportunity, and gambling will also get a large excess effort towards personal economy. There is nothing wrong with trying to make some money, Forex traders and Stock Brokers are all gamblers.
No, they are risk takers since they take the chance of making money by trading something with the chance they will lose money but the good traders take calculated risk in which they think they have the advantage, this is not the same as gambling where you cannot affect your chances of winning. |

No, they are risk takers since they take the chance of making money by trading something with the chance they will lose money but the good traders take calculated risk in which they think they have the advantage, this is not the same as gambling where you cannot affect your chances of winning. That's right. There's a gap that separates gamblers and traders. I don't see anything wrong with gambling but i think it shouldn't be used to make a living. I mean, yeah it can get you big earnings at some time but not as consistently as when you're trading or stock exchange. There are a lot of factors that make gambling not suitable for this and we shouldn't rely at gambling at all for our future and family |

Gambling is only simple and unbelievable where you can yield a money as easy as pie, not realizing you're just wasting a money without counting.
