hi all !
Has downloaded the new version of IOTA (http://85.93.93.110/IRI-1.1.0.jar) and has read article (http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/iota-transition-period-what-you-need-to-do/984). Question: if I already made IOTA request, it is necessary to perform the operations described in article?

Hey guys, I asked this over at the official forum, but so far no response.  Question, will a way and/or a guide be posted instructing us on how to do this if we can't run a node once a lite-client is available?  My HD is a bit full and I don't have the space to run a full node.  :/

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011:
"I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00.  Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/"  ...sigh.  If only I knew.

Ok, thanks for information !
There is only one question: it is how safe to transfer couple seed\password to a resource? If to intercept them - my IOTA will become available to other people...

will there be more detailed part explaining concensus? i know now it is we do X and that there is algorithm  but there is not much details about it

In short, longer a valid transaction exists - more it's tangled with other transactions, eventually 90%+ transactions will reference it.

I can't run a full node either (expect many in the same position), so I assume lite wallet with instructions for claiming will be made available soon(ish)

I have enough disk space to run a full node but I can't get a static IP address.

Will there be an easier way to reclaim with 1.1 GUI release or the lite wallet?

Setting up nostalgia etc... is somewhat confusing  Huh

Of course, wait for the GUI wallet claiming will be less hassle as I anticipate.

Yes, and Dominik said time limit is 1 year, so there's no rush

Headless is just a Node without GUI, most times Virtual Private Servers. You can only access it via Terminal. If you run a headless System at home, it doesn't have a Monitor or Keyboard.

You have to verify your noip Domain every 30 Days, but it will stay free.
