Finally the NBA made the right decision for Draymond Green.

Draymond Green’s suspension is good for everyone

It was fairly shocking on Wednesday night, when the NBA announced an indefinite suspension for Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green. I had anticipated a fine and probably a one-game suspension after Green struck Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić in the face on Tuesday, resulting in a Flagrant 2 foul and an ejection in a game the Dubs would lose by three points.

He's on indefinite suspension and it's not certain when he'll come back, but most likely it will a long period of time.
Now, the Warriors will defenitely struggle on their defense without him as they were playing a small ball when Draymond is a significant player for their success, without him, their playoffs hope might be done this season.

When they say indefinite, it is usually earlier than people think. So, it turns out not too big of a punishment. Nevertheless, it is actually great that they don't just suspend one-two games. After I saw that punch, I thought to myself I wish he got a big suspension but probably they will not give it. But it turns out they did. He did this so many times now the punishment must have been dissuasive. Otherwise this kind of behaviour would spread a lot in a league like nba. Nba management should be hard on this issue and so far they are better than expected. It will surely affect GSW a lot and it should. Their defence is getting a big hit, they will probably focus more on the offence and 3 pointers.

No offense to Warriors fans but that was a long time ago. The efficiency of Draymond Green in terms of defense way back during the Warriors rode to stardom isn't present now. Draymond Green is proven to be useless without the Splash brothers alongside the court. It does mean that he's not perfectly blend well to other Warriors players.

Regardless if he's going to be ban or not, the Warriors defense are just on usual and will just follow Kerr's mechanism. Regarding on that recent flagrant incident involving him, I really don't understand why he never changed since then lol. He's now becoming a veteran player at least he should show maturity on the court.

And I guess teams already is used to the Warriors offense, although still one of the best with Curry and Klay, but teams are now starting to shut them down as well, and again, ageing players like the two and then the curse of CP3 with them right now,  .

As for Draymond, everyone will agree that he should seek professional help and that the Warriors should provide him with the best that they can get to help this man.

Draymond Green was always the "tough guy" on the court.  That's how he defined his career.  It's all good and we'll when you are winning but when you are losing it becomes amplified.  They do drop defensive efficiency long run without him though.  No way Looney can come in and provide 30-35 minutes a game with a lock down presence.  A lot of what draymond provides doesn't show up in the box score.

it and thinks that he can always find ways to escape from the possible damages that he made.

Now that there's already a suspension, he might need to reflect and re-assess everything, but if he thinks that he still doing the right thing.

There's no change that might happen, he will be what he thinks he should be.

When you get a suspension, it is automatically cut from your salary, NBA players get paid per game basis and not per year basis to be fair, we do talk about per year basis because its easier to make the calculation that way, but they actually do get paid per game. That means, if you play all 82 games and you get paid 82 million (nobody does, just to make it easy example) that means you get paid 1 million per game. Injury doesn't count into that, if you get injured then you get paid every game as well, but on the game day, not beforehand, not afterwards. So when you are suspended, that means it will be cut from your salary, or at least that's the normal conduct, don't know if warriors would make a special case for Draymond and pay him, but they do have the right to not pay him if they do not want to, its in the contract.

The interesting thing to me about Draymond Green’s suspension is that it is indefinite. I can’t recall ever seeing the NBA do this type of suspension before. I think it’s a good thing as long as he doesn’t come back next week and I think it shows the league actually cares about his mental health a bit. I also think if they suspended him longer for the Gobert choking, this may have been avoided.

They need to work on keeping the same energy they had in the tournament. Also news, the Spurs are attempting to trade for Bol Bol to create an insane twin tower situation in Texas.

He is becoming disgusting and it is best for him to be out for as long as possible to teach him a hard lesson. But banning Draymond is not easy because of his numerous NBA accomplishments and he could be in the Hall of Fame as one of the greats. Steve Kerr and Mike Dunleavy are not challenging the choice of the NBA to suspend Draymond Green indefinitely.

Well, he's just going to let it pass and he's good again when the suspension is lifted. If this suspension goes until the end of the season, he'd definitely reflect on it as it seems he's near to his retirement. How old is he now? 33? So close to retirement I guess with this age and not doing the right thing to protect the legacy he'll leave if there's any.

I'll just wait if there will be news about until when is going to be this indefinite suspension is going to be.

Brunson really showed up well on a team that he has been the star player, however, it would still be fine if he wasn't traded by the Mavs as I think he is a better team player than Irving, and more healthy as well. On that game, I was thinking that the Suns would win and would cover the spread since once again the big 3 were playing, but unfortunately, Bradley Beal was injured with a possible sprained ankle, so the Suns would have to rely with Durant and Booker once again.

See, that's what I was talking about, the Lakers doesn't have the same energy playing outside the IST. They were playing like on a brink of an elimination every game during the IST and not only that, LeBron and AD was aggressive too.
Well, they were playing good during the last playoffs run, except that they got swept by the Nuggets so that's another area where they need to improve, because beating the Nuggets means you can beat almost every team in the playoffs. Consistency on the offensive and defensive end is what they needed.
There's also another thing that might ruin the Laker's chemistry because of the rumors surrounding the internet about the DLo potential trade. If I remember it correctly, it was Reaves first who got involved into a trade rumors.

Unless there's a strong power behind that will be sided to green's favor, I guess there's changes with this suspension I mean that indefinite might be change to a lighter conviction and we will see him play in an earlier time frame.

I guess we won't be seing him soon, he already had serious of violation prior to this indifinite suspension issuance by the NBA. Probably like Morant, he'll be out for long and that would affect his teams on their succeeding games. No more Draymond that is very familiar with their games, it will be up to Curry and Thompson now, and hopefully Wiggins would step up as his numbers this season hasn't been convincing.

And that's why I think that the Lakers handicap or even their ML is a trap for us bettors. Although I skip it, there is also another upset as the Wizards bet the runner up in the in-tournament which is the Pacers. So I guess for us bettors, we make some mistakes on taking the Lakers. But in any case, it's good to see that they Spurs losing streak is over for now and they victimized t he in-tournament champions Lakers. So it could affect the team's mentality though on allowing themselves to be beaten by the Spurs. And Lakers goes back to the same energy as before, allowing teams to build a big lead on them regardless if it is in their homecourt or away from home and they try to make a great comeback that unfortunately, didn't happen in this game.
