It’s not like everyone was only betting on the Lakers, of course, some people bet on the Rockets too, since they’re a solid team, and the Lakers have their own struggles in their pas games. Maybe the real mistake is betting against them at home. Now, if it were OKC or the Celtics, the Lakers would have a much higher chance of losing.

But one thing’s for sure, since Luka arrived, the Lakers have been way better, especially in clutch moments.

When all three of them are on the field Luka Reaves and James they are just really good. With all three are playing they are unstoppoble. If all are healthy they will surely be one of the best teams. Although I also think Rockets are little bit overrated, there are other factors here to consider. Rockets were just coming from another away game, they must be quite tired. Lakers defended Sengun pretty good actually and Sengun was not having a great night. I think JJ Reddick actually did a good job about the game strategy. Just defend Sengun and risk the threes from Green and VanVleet. I think it worked okay. When Green and VanVleet shoot like this, Sengun or others have to play much more extra. I could say Sengun should have 30 pts like Jokic in order them to win, but he is not there yet. He is only 23, he might be in the future. Let's say they play again in the playoffs, we will probably see another outcome. This game was not a very good indicator.

I'm proud of Alperen Şengün for his work in NBA so far. He is giving his best for his improvement. I can comfortably say that he is the best Turkish player ever played in NBA at this age already.

It was nice to see him being selected for All-Star as well but because of the new format he couldn't find much time to play unfortunately. Anyway in the recent years he is good at keeping a good average in statistics. I believe in him to put more effort and get much better in the future.

Ggs to the Lakers team for clutching that game against the rockets. I think this is one of the very few games that Lakers "big 3" didn't get much offensively as much as they do in other games. But it was interesting to watch them fight till the end with countless pressure from Rockets.

I love how Lebron James comes to live when it comes to intense games like this. A few nights ago, he made the winner and last night, that his corner block saved Lakers lead.

Considering Rockets are second ranked in the west, obviously there would be some people who would assume they could win. If they weren't good enough, then how could they be second ranked team? We still don't know what would happen if Rockets and Lakers face in a seven game series, sure Lakers got this one, but we need to see how they would do in a seven game series.

Considering Lebron is 40 years old, and still one of the best players Lakers have, I would say fatigue would play a big role. Most of the players in Rockets are young, so playing bunch of games doesn't mean anything to them, and I hope that they would realize how unimportant that could be considered for them, fatigue is nothing. So in a seven game series, I would wager Rockets could win.

Guys, has anyone noticed here that after Anthony Davis is back, the Dallas Mavericks already have 2 winning streaks?
This is why I am convinced that Anthony Davis is really a key player for their lineup. Now, there will be a rematch with the Nets from their last week's match that Mavericks won by 120 - 101.

I think he fits better with that team than Luka did, but I think as a team their ceiling is much lower with Anthony Davis.

We all agree that he's fit better there than Luka.

But wherever he goes, there's always a need for a big man and he even asked that to the Lakers but they got nothing and removed him.

He has been compare to Jokic, and even has the monicker of baby Jokic because they have similar moves in the paint, unconventional but very effective head and shoulder fake and they are hard to stop in the middle. So yeah, perhaps he just need to improved, but no need to rush as the Rockets is one of the top seed in the West because everyone is effective and contributed. We don't even know if we can call this a team by Jalen Green because he is surrounded by good players too that's why they don't rely on him with veterans like Dillon Brooks and FVV and other role players. But the real test for the team is on this playoff. And just like last year's OKC, they might have to wait for the right time though and get that needed experience as they are still fairly young team this season.

I wouldn't say that they are overrated, they are second in the West, meaning they have a good record and have beating teams. And here in the game, they could also have won or maybe force a OT if they will just hit their free throws.

Jalen Green was benched by Udoka in the last 5 minutes of the game, Amen Thompson is playing good while Green was somewhat of a off night for him. So it's good win by the Lakers, and the problem with Houston here is that they don't have a good defender when Lebron, Luka and Reaves played at the same time. Or Brooks can be a good defender and usually he is task to stop Lebron and "poke the bear".

Crazy how Steph still is such a machine! This guy is also 37 years old already and plays like he is in his prime sometimes. Some people that don't actually watch his games might think he is just shooting 3s, whats the deal, but if you see how many screens he is running through to get to an open spot is actually insane. I am some years older than him and I also still play basketball a lot. The way he is running at this age though is super impressive to me!!

I had a ML bet on Nuggets and that Westbrook's miss and his foul made me lose my bet. But I'd be damned if I say I didn't enjoy the game. I did—very much—especially since both teams went at it other for all of the 3rd and 4th quarter. I heard the commentator say that the Wolves have dominated in the series although I'm not sure if I heard it right but if that's the case, it means the Wolves owned the Nuggets this season. I saw how Nuggets fought extremely hard to get this win—you can already see that from Jokic's 61 points scoring (also his career high).

This is the first time I've actually seen an NBA game go from regular time to not one but two overtime. Well played to both Nuggets and Wolves. This is the best NBA game I've seen yet.

The thing with Edwards is that he started slow, while Jokic was scoring at will since the first quarter. But when Edwards wake up, they got back in the game and even have taken the lead in the 4th.

I thought that he will missed at least one of those free throws. But he hit both and he had that one good assists. Unfortunately, he has this tendency to missed shots on a close range or a lay-up. And then Minnesota sealing the deal in the free throw line.

Yeah, it's almost like nothing has changed. Like he didn't age at all. He is still doing the same plays to confuse their opponents, and then suddenly he is open, and it seems like that old-school play is still working. There's still no counter against it.

19 points in the first quarter. 5 three pointers made. Those stats of him early in the game should've scared the Grizzlies and locked him down, but Steph will always be Steph. Once he finds that early rhythm, it will be difficult to stop him. Now he got his revenge after that bad loss against the Grizzlies where they were blown out by 50+ points at FedEx Forum.

I guess he or everyone of them got exhausted and they come up short and Wolves come out lucky as a winner between this duel. If it happens that another overtime come(triple overtime) I guess Denver would gonna take the win.
