Bad news for Golden State!
Steph's MRI revealed a grade 1 hamstring injury.
He will be out for at least 1 week.

This means he will be out for at least 3 games.
Golden currently leads the series 1-0, but Minnesota could take the lead without Steph.
Can they win this series without Curry? I think yes. so I don't think this injury will be a big problem. I don't think it's going to be like the Minnesota Timberwolves series against the Houston Rockets, it's not going to be a series that goes all the way to the last game. We felt that in the first game, I think even without Curry, Golden State Warriors will go to the next round without much difficulty in this series.

Worst case scenario, they will win 1 game, even if he can't play in game 3, the series will still be 2-2. Then I think GSW will be able to take the lead again. Of course, I hope Curry will recover soon
I really really disagree. Curry is their best player, so missing him should have given them a lot more and because of that we are going to end up with a lot better results and won't need anything further. Curry being gone, is proof enough that Wolves will beat them.

It’s a matter of possibility so the correct answer is they can win the series without Curry. This will only happened if they can copy their performance on game 1 which Buddy Hield take over to Curry role as a 3point shooter while Butler and others contribute on their own way.

Buddy Hield is on side line whenever Curry is playing so replacing him with clutch Buddy can be a good viable solution. This is a hard role for Buddy but they have a chance this way rather than put Kuminga on their rotation that commits a lot of error.

But Kuminga contributed 18 points in just 26 minutes of play. And yeah, they really need Hield’s three point shooting. I thought they could replicate what they did in Game 1 as well but it’s not always a holiday. Their 3point shooting really dropped in Game 2. If they can’t win Game 3 and continue to shoot poorly from beyond the 3pt line especially compared to the usual Warriors, then they’ll definitely feel the significant impact of not having Curry on the court. Jimmy and Hield need to score at least 25+ points each, and others must step up too, especially Green. He needs to drop the antics. They need his defense, playmaking, and scoring the most, not his antics.

Man, that’s already a lot to ask… The Warriors got Game 1, and that’s good enough for now. They grabbed one on the road, which is huge. Now they’re heading back to Chase Center for Games 3 and 4, that’s where they gotta lock in and try to win both with the fans behind them. Even if they just win one of those, the series stays fun. We might even get a Game 7, and Curry should be back by Game 6 or 7 anyway.

Who saw that injury to Anthony Edwards?

It seems what happened with Stephen Curry on Game 1 was almost the same this game with Anthony Edwards, but still no official statement that Anthony Edwards can't go back anymore in this game.
Even that, Timberwolves still lead more than 20 points just now.
I saw that and the camera looked on Steph's face and he understands how hurtful it was.

Still got no news if he's going to play in their next game because it is what matters next even they've won the game.

And as for Steph, there is still no news as well on when he'd be able to play.

Cavs finally showing their teeth in this game against the Pacers, they have a double digit league going into the 4th quarter.

I thought that the Pacers might take a 3-0 league as they are playing in their homecourt, but still as number 1 team, sooner or later they will have to get their first win in this series and so they have a high chance to do that.

Unless Michell choke again or the Pacers wanted to make a point and just like the Knicks, makes a historical comeback here. Haliburton though, looks like his arm is injured.

No there's no choking right now because the Cavaliers secured Game 3 already and won on the road.
Game's not over as of this moment, but it's nearing to end already.

5 starters of the Cavaliers are in double-digit figures lead by Mitchell with 43 points. Garland returned, but not in his usual shape scoring only 10 points and 3 assists. On the other hand, the Cavaliers completely shut down Haliburton scoring only 4 points and 5 assists after that heroic Game 2 performance. Now we are seeing the true capability of the Cavaliers right now, and because of how they demolished the Pacers here in Game 3, there's a chance that they can also steal Game 4 to tie the series.

It's a must win for both teams. Pacers to secure the 3-0 while the Cavaliers to survive the series, and it's the Cavaliers that got the win. After this game, it's the Nuggets-Thunder now. I already put my bet on the Nuggets on this one to win the game. Cheesy Kind of risky, but it's their home court so... yeah good luck I guess. Cheesy

Cavs got 3 guys back tonight and came out very strong and never looked back. Pacers just didn't seem to be into the game at all tonight, they got Cleveland in foul trouble early and didn't keep driving to the bucket to try and keep Cleveland in foul trouble. Haliburton wasn't killin it tonight either as well as Turner having ankle issues.

Hoping for a game 4 rebound for the Pacers and they close it out in game 6 cause I think Cleveland will win game 5 at home.

^ The Cavs needed to respond big and they did. Even covered the spread in their 22 point victory. This was basically a win or go home game (they weren’t going to come back down 0-3). I’m glad they won. I hate that so many playoff series’ the last few years have seemingly been decided by injuries.

Yeah I am also not surprised but actually glad. They were missing key players in game 1 and even more in game 2, and still they didn't look super bad in those games. Now the series is wide open again with a lot of pressure on the Pacers. If they lose game 4 as well the rest might as well go to the Cavs.
I'm sure OKC will get back home court advantage today as well, at least they are looking good so far. OKC in 5.

And as for Steph, there is still no news as well on when he'd be able to play.

It didn't look like a serious injury, considering Edwards came back in the second half and played 19 minutes while scoring 13 points.
So, the Wolves should be fine in the upcoming games, but the Warriors need to do something, because it's obviously hard for them without Curry, and they're unlikely to handle the Wolves if he is out for long.

It's just about time that Garland comes back, and I think he is the missing piece here as the Pacers have a lot of offensive weapons that the Cavs can't match because Darius is their number 2 options.

Yes, maybe they are really the best team in the East for coming back in game 3 with a big statement win. Nuggets and Thunder are already in the way, this is Nuggets home team so at least they should give the fans a good fight not like game 2 when they are massacred by the Thunder.

No, it's different, Curry was reported to have a hamstring injury, and not a sprain like Edwards. And I read that Curry will have to sit for at least a week so maybe he will missed the next two games which is very important for them. Although they are going to play at home, still with no Curry it might have been a hard task for them. Although Edwards could be resting as well in game 3 or he could be questionable.

It is true. If he stays out until May 14, he is going to miss 2 games in the series. Both are at homecourt as well by the way. It would be a big loss for Warriors.  Sad

Still no update on Anthony Edwards as far as I can see. It was still great work by Timberwolves though. A huge win by 24 points...

My favourite in the series is already them and I believe they will make it!
Compare to Curry's injuries, Edwards is not that worst in my opinion, it was just a sprained and maybe needed 24-48 hours of rest. As compare to Curry's injury, and it's hamstring and there are not cure for it but to rest that's why he is reported to missed at least 2 games. But as others have said, the likes of Buddy Hield and Kuminga should elevate their game specially playing at home. Buddy is on fire and so is Kuminga, but playing at home will give them a lot of confidence and I'm seeing a close game between the two even if Curry is MIA. And who knows, maybe the Warriors with their DNA and mentally can survived game 3 to buy more time for Curry and not to put pressure on him to make a comeback to get a win.

And as for Steph, there is still no news as well on when he'd be able to play.
really big loss for GSW

Warriors needs to work harder trying to win game/s while they are inside their home crowd though it's going to be a tough challenge as Curry will still be resting due to his injury, but like what we've seen last game 1 with that kind of determination there's a good chance that they can still compete and possible to win.

We never know what would be the outcome till the game ended, both teams are aiming to move forward and advance to the next round a game of system and good executions.

I think the Warriors biggest issue right now is that Steve Kerr doesn't know who exactly he wants to play, he's just experimenting different combinations during the game, and when doesn't seem to be working, he overhauls and changes it again, just like he did in the regular season, but then this the playoffs there isn't enough time for him to keep experimenting everything, it mess with the team's chemistry and communication, while I agree with making alterations and needed changes, I do think having stability and balance is equally as important.

I notice that too, it's hard to combine players if you are not prepared especially during playoffs where intensity is really tough, like what you mentioned, if he just picking players and trying to get a good blend when they already inside together hoping that it will click, unlike with core players who are well-prepared taking extra time to compete, it's a big challenge now that Curry will need to sit to rest his injury, every single player who will play needs to carry that extra load especially that they are playing at home.

I don't understand what happens in the second periods when Indiana is playing at home.
Both teams started the game evenly and the first period ended 32-32.
Whatever happened, Indiana was a disaster in the second period and scored a total of 13 points in the second period.
The same thing happened in the previous games they played at home. For example, the same thing happened in the Los Angeles Lakers game, but they played very well in the following periods and lost the game in the last attack.
This time, they couldn't close the gap that opened in the second period and left the field with a 104-126 loss and the series is still in Indiana's favor 2-1.

I think the collapse can be attributed to the opposing team adjustments.

I guess the pressure is on for the Pacers now as they have to win game 4 now.

If they lose that, then the Cavs would have the momentum

Also, experience matters a lot. Denver already has a championship, while this OKC squad has never been to the WCF.
Although they have the talent and youth, but experience usually wins out, just like what we saw with the Warriors vs. Rockets before.

So Denver in 5.

Oops -  looks like my prediction still stands. You can really see how OKC collapsed in the 4th quarter, especially in overtime. They just couldn’t handle the Nuggets’ defense, and SGA was struggling big time. If it weren’t for Williams, that game wouldn’t have even been close. So, I think we’ve seen enough… next game still looks like it’s gonna be the Nuggets’ win.

Shai is not playing well today, the D on him is greata nd you are right, its all williams today.
Westbrook is a big help for the Nugget at both ends.  The 4 players of the Nuggets scored 20+ that is the big factor.

Cavs finally won Cheesy im still at the losing side for todays bet Sad

He had 18 points, but on 7-of-22 shooting… Braun really clamped him down.

And if you look at the overall stats, OKC shot just 26% from three, while Denver hit 40%. That’s a big gap right there.

So now, we know what the problem is. OKC needs to step it up, and Shai has to carry like a real MVP candidate.

Cavs finally won Cheesy im still at the losing side for todays bet Sad

That was a good one, it was a blowout win, and another win so they can even the series. ....
But, I'm betting on the pacers next game for sure.

But Kuminga contributed 18 points in just 26 minutes of play. And yeah, they really need Hield’s three point shooting. I thought they could replicate what they did in Game 1 as well but it’s not always a holiday.

One of the most critical games of the season. If GSW can win this game and get back in the lead, I think we can say that they will win the series. But a loss on their home court would be really bad for them, the stress level would be really high and they could end up losing the series.
We can't expect a team to perform at its best without its leader, but I think this team can be successful without Curry. At least in this series I think they have the potential to give their best and win the game
