I think he admitted that he played bad and will improve on the next season. I hope that the Houston Rockets won't trade him.  Tongue

I think if the Rockets are going to make moves in the offseason, their most valuable and most expendable trade asset is Jalen Green. They could build the team around Şengün and Thompson, and add a strong complementary piece alongside them by sacrificing Green. That may be better for both sides.

With the right planning, I believe both the Rockets and Pistons have the potential to make a big impact in the near future, just like the Thunder are starting to do now with their young core.

Then you have the feast of the day.  The Nuggets and Thunder.  While the Thunder are the favorites and expected to win by double digits tonight, I'm not counting out the Nuggets.  I think they have the better team and now that the playoffs are here they will show it.  Game 1 tonight.  I'll be watching this one.
Nuggets with that 4.00+ odds isn't something to get ignored. While the Thunders are really a good and young team. If it's about experience on these important games in the second round, Nuggets is the team to go but we'll see. The Thunders have gained much experience since last year but we will never know. This is I think the game of the day because the other one doesn't seem to get attraction. Everyone wants to see the Thunders beat Nuggets but at some point, we can't ignore that they're a former champ and as well has went through a lot of playoff games too.

Jalen Green was missing in action once again.

I think first two matches wont be close at all and that OKC will win them easily. OKC might be a young team but their playing style is really good and they showed during the regular season they were the best. While Denver has experience but they are really tired because of series against Clippers where they played 7 matches

We will see. I would certainly be surprised if you were right. In my experience, when it comes to the highest levels of competitiveness, teams typically need a standout star player that is better than everyone else. Jordan, Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, LeBron, Steph, Jokic… I’m just not sure SGA is on that level, but I don’t watch him play much. I’ll be watching today… Maybe he’ll change my mind.

For me Jokic was incredible this season and overall is better for his team then SGA. SGA is lucky that he has a lot of amazing young players to help him carry the team. While Jokic does o most everything alone and needs to hope that Murray or Porter or someone else follows him. If other players from Denver get hot tonight anything can happen. If that dosent happen it will be an easy win for OKC

Wow. What a night for basketball. The Nuggets just came back from a big deficit to win during a free throw shooting contest at the end of the game on the back of an Aaron Gordon three pointer. What an ending. I thought the first game of the night going into OT was going to be the game of the night, but nope.

The Rockets were a disappointment. They played solid defense and once again held the Warriors to a low score, but their offense was a disaster. They had no clear game plan. They're already weak in three-point shooting and they failed to capitalize in the paint as well. They forced too many bad shots. Jalen Green was missing in action once again. On top of that, Buddy Hield had the game of his career, that tipped the series in the Warriors' favor.

The Rockets will take this as a learning experience and come back stronger next season. The trade window could be an active one for them. As for the Warriors, they likely won't last long against the Timberwolves.

I'm also disappointed to see how the Rockets lose that game in their home court. And not only that, they really work very hard for that second seed just to be ousted on the first round by the old but experienced GSW.

They concentrate on stopping Curry, but they forget about his supposedly new Splash Buddies in Hield as he erupted and had his best game of the playoffs. Jimmy Butler is very proud of Buddy and this gives the team another boost vs the Wolves.

We can't also take away the NYK stealing game 1 from the Boston Celtics. They had a huge lead, at 20 points but the NYK comes back and they almost won the game without going into OT.

But they have the clutch player of the year and so with back to back 3's and then Tatum choke misfiring his 3.

And then the defense of Bridges on Brown on the last seconds to steal the ball and secure the win for them. I don't know, but I have a feeling that the NYK might win this series against the Celtics.

Well this is the first time that they have been in the playoffs as far as I know since the Harden era on Houston. And although they are good in the regular season games, we all know that playoff atmosphere is different and if you don't have the experience, sooner or later you are going to tap out. And this is what happen to them, they don't have the experience in this kind of big games and so their players will be MIA just like Jalen Green who basketball fans though will be his break out, but he choke.

The Rockets will take this as a learning experience and come back stronger next season. The trade window could be an active one for them. As for the Warriors, they likely won't last long against the Timberwolves.
That's one thing that the Rockets will have to go in this playoff, the learning experience, just like what OKC in their last couple of seasons. For the Warriors, they are facing a young and very strong team in Wolves and so it will be a difficult task ahead for them to stop Edwards or how they are going to match up against Rudy Gobert.

Wow. What a night for basketball. The Nuggets just came back from a big deficit to win during a free throw shooting contest at the end of the game on the back of an Aaron Gordon three pointer. What an ending. I thought the first game of the night going into OT was going to be the game of the night, but nope.

Wow indeed. What a night for basketball. That was a night of come-from-behinds. The Knicks survived a 20-point deficit to beat the Boston at their home via overtime. They silenced the crowd. That was amazing.

And then the Nuggets showcased another comeback story of their own. I thought it was all going to waste after Westbrook and Gordon's shortcomings, but no. The two made sure they will end the game the best way possible. Nice assist, nice three, nice game.

Impressive game winning free throws by Chet Chokegren
It should have gone to OT if he made those two free throws. Anyway, Jokic being Jokic, dropping 42 points and grabbing 22 rebounds. At this point, it’s starting to feel normal. Big kudos to Gordon for hitting the game-winner. Watching the game, I really thought OKC would take Game 1. After taking the lead in the first quarter, the Nuggets never even tied it, until the end. Definitely an example that you can't completely judge the game until it's over.

Impressive game winning free throws by Chet Chokegren

Chet Holgrem's free throw percentage is not that bad, his knees just buckled to the pressure of the moment. Just wondering why the coach have resorted to that kind of strategy (foul then free throw contest), he could have let the Nuggets take a three for an overtime and not a win.

Quote
Chet Holmgren's career free throw percentage is 78.0%. His free throw percentage for the 2024-25 season was 75.4%.

It's a different level of pressure when it's a conference semifinals game that's played. Chet's a young inexperienced player. He will eventually harden.

I very much agree with the off-call early foul. I wonder what's that for. They were ahead by three, 11 seconds left, Denver had no time-out remaining. What was the plan? The possibilities were only OT or victory, but because of that bad call fouling Gordon a third possibility was unnecessarily added, a loss. The third possibility happened.

they were avoiding a OT game and the mistake of the players were fouling very quickly instead of draining more seconds.

I agree, they can keep Sengun and Thompson but if it's with Green and Brooks. Both teams are promising, I've seen them from the last year's season and how they went to this recent one. It's a good one and they keep on improving. Maybe both teams are also going to chase Giannis if ever he has already get out of the Bucks.

I think first two matches wont be close at all and that OKC will win them easily. OKC might be a young team but their playing style is really good and they showed during the regular season they were the best. While Denver has experience but they are really tired because of series against Clippers where they played 7 matches
Well, many have thought the same but Nuggets did it. That clutch shot by Gordon was unexpected. It was a good start but the game 2 might be OKC's come back.

People saying Nuggets is so lucky at that time Chet made a mistake for not hitting those free throws so I think that game is not really for OKC since they commit a mistake on dying minutes on the game. But for sure things will be different since there would be a bounce back play and OKC would perform more better on game 2 we see this young guys play and they are consistent this season so game 2 would provably so hard for Nuggets.

I like the way how Chet admits his mistake and provably that he would do better on their next game. That crazy lapses he made shows lack of experience but for sure they can correct that and could deal with pressure especially on their important games. So let's see what they can do on game 2.

What a winner by Aaron Gordon!  Cheesy  He does it again! There hasn't been much time since his winner against Clippers while 0.1 sec left in the previous series.

After this dramatic win Nuggets are 1-0 ahead in the series. Winning an away game already could be a great advantage to make use of. But this still doesn't change that it is still a difficult series for them.

Imagine them reaching even NBA finals with their interim coach. Then they would probably sign a permanent deal with Adelman.  Smiley  He is doing a good work with proving some people wrong about him for now.
