Close game so far. Pacers up by 3 at half. We saw some though defense from both teams.
Thunder is only 1/10 behind the 3-pt line but the point difference is still too narrow. If Thunder fix their 3-pt percentage they might win the game. Haliburton needs to step up for Pacers.
The run made by the Thunder at the final minutes of the game lead by SGA put them to win and tie the series. 111-104.

Despite shooting only 3/17 from threes, they manage to steal one on the road. The team made some adjustments on how the Pacers are defending SGA hence they're making screens from here and there and because of that, he got the pace that he wants and scored 35 points. Williams also scored 27 points while Caruso scored 20 off the bench.

As for the Pacers, I would not say that Hali had a bad performance because they can still have a chance to win that game if only Mathurin didn't commit those 2 crucial away-from-ball fouls while the Thunder is inbounding the ball and that gave them 2 crucial points to them. Also aside from those 2 crucial fouls that he made, he also missed too many free throws in the final seconds of the game. I mean I don't want to blame him, but it might be different if he didn't commit those mistakes. Missed free throws, and away-from-ball fouls.

Anyway, it's a best of 3 now, and the momentum is now on the Thunder because of this win. I don't want to say now though that it would be an easy win for them even though 2 of the next 3 games will be played on their home because Indiana isn't backing down, and we've saw it in those 4 games. Congratulations to Thunder still, and to those who put their bets on them. Cheesy

Somehow the Pacers are now getting a taste of their own medicine. Although the Thunders were able to lead at some points early in the game, every quarter ended with the Pacers ahead, except the 4th quarter of course.

The Thunder had an aggressive run in the last quarter, knowing full well that losing this game is very crucial. It is almost equal to losing the entire championship. At 3-1, it is going to be very hard to recover. I think it is only the Cavs in 2016 that was able to recover from a 3-1 deficit in the entire history of the NBA.

Thanks to SGA the Thunders are still alive.

As SGA says, they are a desperate team and so with that they will have to do everything in them to win game 4 and that's what happen to them. Indiana had that lead going into the last 3 minutes and you can sense that somewhat they are going to win the game.

But then SGA has other plans, no they won't be going in their homecourt down 1-3. Now it's down to best of 3 and for sure the Pacers are very nervous now as they will have to go to play next in the homecourt of the Thunder.

True that. SGA carried them in the 2nd half and a lot in the last quarter. What a great back and forth it was in the last 8 minutes, awesome finals.
Not sure if OKC was so good in the last or Indiana got nervous since they could already taste a 3:1 lead when they were up 7 in the 4th. Gotta feel a bit for them, so close but now again so far from the championship. Of course it's not done yet but I'm convinced OKC will get the next one at home!

When Shai scores over 30 points, OKC is likely to win. In the previous game, Shai had 24 points and the loss was inevitable. In this game, he scored 35 points and OKC tied the series 2-2 and regained home advantage.

I think Haliburton is not contributing enough in the final games. He had 18 points in this game.

The next game will be in OKC's home field in 3 days. This series can have different scores. Right now, only OKC has home advantage but their opponent is Indiana and they can make incredible comebacks.

He delivered.. he wasn’t really scoring much in the first half, but he took over in the last quarter. I don’t know why the Pacers didn’t make more adjustments on him; they should have doubled him, especially since OKC was struggling from beyond the arc.

It was a really entertaining game, and now the series is guaranteed to go at least six games.
But as for OKC winning the series, that’s still far from certain.

Because the Thunders won this game, this could be their championship. They will be back to their city next game. After game 5, the tally will most likely be 3-2 in their favor. For sure, they will not allow the Pacers to steal from them again. This means the Pacers are on the brink of losing. Or as many expected this will be decided on the 7th game.

I think OKC gave their all in the final minutes, both in terms of offense and defense. The Pacers began to feel complacent. They are probably not used to leading. They are so used to chasing deficits when the game is about to end. That is their main fuel. And now that it is not there, it is the Thunders who stepped up. The Pacers were not making shots. Haliburton himself only made 3 points in the last quarter. That is so not him.

A nice and competitive final games which boosted the morale of fixing conspirator on the thread.  Grin Thunder made an unexpected comeback in the final quarter.
Both of the finalist team reached here staying among top on their league table and winning the knockouts. They are two of the best NBA teams this season without a doubt.
It's no wonder both of them would be competitive and strong. Today too the first three quarters of games were led by Pacers by a small margin (1, 2 and 4 to be exact) but on the final quarter, Thunder came back with 31-17 (14 points). People may tell that the 14 points difference on the final quarter is not natural but that could be the strategy of Thunder from the start to conserve their stamina for the final quarter.

Oklahoma regained home court advantage. They won the game 104-111. The series is now 2-2. Shai played a great game again, leaving 35 points in Indiana’s basket. Alex Caruso played a big role in the victory, with 5 steals and 20 points.

Alex Caruso became the first player to have 10+ steals in a Finals series since Manu Ginobili in 2003. Alex has more games ahead of him to improve on those statistics.

The run made by the Thunder at the final minutes of the game lead by SGA put them to win and tie the series. 111-104.

Yes, the Thunder managed to avoid a 1-3 deficit in the series. Although I would have preferred the Pacers to win and Mathurin to repeat his previous performance. Unfortunately, he wasn't effective enough this time.
In any case, the score in the series is tied, and everything starts again, but now, the home arena advantage will be with the Thunder.

The Indiana Pacers were exhausted. They did the same high energy in the first 3 quarters on both ends of the floor, but that 4th quarter clutch time was all SGA. They did a big mess too by fouling while the ball was not yet inbound. That was 1 free throw and a possession, and they did it twice. They badly want to come back, but they did it in an unwise way.

I really thought the Pacers were going to win that game. They had the lead for a very long time, and all they need is to preserve it. But OKC's defense got so tight, too, and that made a lot of turnovers for the Pacers.

2-2. This is getting better.

I bet on Indiana to win at 2.55 odds. I looked at the odds again before the game started and Indiana was at 2.73 odds. I don't understand how Oklahoma is such a favorite. My bet unfortunately lost.

Shai Gilgeous Alexander played really well again. Shai scored more points than he has this year. His points per game average this year is 31.5 in 99 games.

I think it’s time for Turner to step up his game. He made a lot of questionable decisions, like continuing to shoot from outside even though his shots weren’t falling (he went 0-for-6 from three, by the way). I think he needs to be more aggressive attacking the paint, which would make the team less predictable.

So far, Toppin has been the most consistent player on the team. He really sparked the Pacers’ three-point shooting, but unfortunately, that momentum died down in the fourth quarter.

We should move on to the game 5 Smiley
Pacers will surely fo to 0 and make a play again. Game 4 was not a good ending. they were leading and in just snap OKC go far from them.
odds ill go back to 9.5 in game 5. This game 4 was a big insurance for Pacers.

I hate to say  this but theres 90% chance for g5 to take the lead by the Thunders.

I hate to say  this but theres 90% chance for g5 to take the lead by the Thunders.

Okay, that’s your prediction, and I guess you’re backing OKC to win the series?

Well, the series is tied now, and the last four games have all been close, so in my opinion, it’s basically 50-50 at this point.

Of course, since OKC are the favorites, a lot of people will be siding with them now that they’ve evened the series. As for me, I’ll wait a bit and watch the line movement. If it goes up to –11.5, that’s even better for me since I’ll just take the moneyline anyway for bigger odds.

Still 50 - 50 and we see how Pacers perform good so far in game 4. Its just they had been choked and outsmarted by SGA on dying minutes of the game.

I thought Pacers would able to win earlier since they show pretty promising performance. But SGA really fight until the end and we see he hit crucial shots which help OKC to snatch the win from OKC.

Game 5 would became more interesting since for sure that there's somehow regrets on the side of Pacers since for sure they think that they supposed to win that game 4 and for sure they do more better on their next game. Its early to tell that OKC have 90% chance since Pacers already prove that they are also dangerous opponent for OKC.

50-50? Nah, I still don't see it that way despite Pacers' doing a great work so far. It is like 55-45 or 60-40 on Thunder side for me honestly.  Tongue

Last night was really amazing. Pacers looked solid in the first 3 quarters but couldn't keep this up in the last quarter. It was a huge effort by Thunder in that quarter.

Shai scored nearly the half of his points in the last quarter. He played a big role in that comeback undoubtedly.

You’re right! It’s never a 50-50 despite the series is tied. The odds never in favor to Pacers even when they are leading and show dominance after winning the game.

They are always playing behind on the first quarter or choke in the end. The game 3 should be resulted the same if the foul calls will also favorable to OKC.

I’m starting to believe that this series has a scripted support by the referee in able to guide them on Game 7 match.

As much as we want to move on to game 5, the game isn't even lasting for 24 hours and that's why the discussion will be kept going.
It's sad that the Pacers have been in the lead and then with the few remaining minutes of the 4th quarter.
Shai did it again with those ball handling movements plus some fouls and free throws. Small points do really matter at these moments while Mathurin missed the two when he's on the line.  Undecided
