Grizzlies is at 28 at 8th seed and 25 for Blazers.
Pelicans are losing against strong teams like Bucks and Thunders but never with the lower seeds. As of their 10 games, they only lose against the Rockets, Bucks and Thunders. They really got stronger with the addition of Zion.
Grizzlies might slide down from the 8th seed, their second leading-scorer Jaren Jackson Jr. is expected to miss a few weeks with a sprained knee. Out of three teams chasing MEM, Blazers have the easiest schedule at least on paper (next 10 games).

Hopefully they'll start winning a game tonight, they have an easy opponent and soon Lillard will be back in the line up and they'll be more confident again. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/damian-lillard-injury-update-blazers-star-expects-to-miss-the-next-three-or-four-games-with-strained-groin/start winning with the Pistons tonight and we will see if they can actually do it without Lillard.. the last time they failed against the Pelicans which might be their best rival going to that 8 spot.

What a great start I saw in the NBA today, Lakers vs Boston have some classic match up and it ended up really an entertaining game. Tatum goes for 41 points from an losing effort but this young man has showed he can be better against a good team like the Lakers, last time it was the Clippers. Anyone here think Celtics are a championship contender this season?

Yes of course they are a championship contender team since they fought the Cavs in the 2018 ECF. Though they lost to a more experienced Cavs team with LeBron leading the team, but they showed how good this young bloods are. With Walker as an addition, I think they are ready to go against the Bucks or the Raptors in the ECF in the playoffs. Tatum is a future hall of famer, and Jaylen too.

But, they are going to have a lot of problems since the list of injured players from the Blazers team is getting longer. Pelicans schedule will be hell. Two games against the Lakers then Dallas and Heat. But they need to win all of this games. They are at the 10th now and they don't want to be at losing streaks. Snatch one of that games against the Lakers then also try to win over the Heat.

Clippers also just lost to Kings once again, not saying Kings are better compared to Clippers (not a chance) but we are seeing why Clippers are no longer seen as the favorites for the championship by many people. They are a disgruntled bunch of players and even though they are all talented and even though they definitely have the roster to challenge for a cup, they also do not have neither the team chemistry nor the mentality to work together and create that synergy.
I have been trying to analyze their plays but yes, it seems like they don't rely with one another. Is it Kawhi? He had been thru 3 teams and it had always been the problem. Is there really a locker room problem to these guys? Look at Lakers and Bucks, those two teams definitely deserve the Finals both because they are very talented just like Clippers, but also they are a great team and they play amazingly together as well, they have fun together, they spend time together after the games and practices, you need that type of brotherhood for a championship.
Bucks had it since like 3 years ago so it won't be any issue to them. The Lakers team though is something to be amazed at. They put in different players with just a year of contract and yet they seem to have the chemistry of playing with each for 10 years. I think that is one of Lebron's power. I am not sure though. It could also be that this guys just want the championship.

Will it be a battle of two rookies for the 8th seed or will it be the veteran coach who still have his magic of getting another playoffs spot. Exciting to see how they will push through to win every game. Some great odds for later games without handicaps. Wizards (home) @9.00 vs Bucks Knicks (away) @ 10.00 vs Rockets T'Wolves (away) @7.80 vs Dallas The demon of me is telling something again.

I would rather take the Wizards at home against the best team in the NBA as a I feel they have a better chance with the crowd cheering for them. They played the bulls and loss, they'll travel back home to play with the Bucks, but they should try to win this since they are out of the playoff picture now.

Allow that demon to dictate you , lol.. I will even suggest that you parlay all the heavy underdogs so you will get a total odds of 702.$10 at least for a minimum, you'll get at least $7000, good luck mate, do it fast. lol

Though shit can happen and there's no sure bets since even super team can lose to the underdogs. If there's one of any games that will messed up luck will be at your back..

There has been some great games last night, I can't believe I missed most of them, looks like they were great fun when you watch the highlights.
Raptors annihilated the Pacers by a score of 127 to 82, we are used to seeing numbers like 127 scored on teams nowadays and even tho for people who have been watching NBA for 10+ years the number of points scored is still weird, getting scored 127 on is not a big thing anymore, however how the hell did pacers stopped at just 82 points, they are not really that bad neither, I mean they are not awesome but they are not this bad, one of the least points a team has scored this season as far as I can remember. Zion played well once again, he will definitely adjust to NBA very well, Lakers vs Celtics game which is always fun, Lakers got a last second win thanks to Lebron. Was a good night all around for all basketball fans.

Wasn't able to watch games in recent days, but reading the news and seeing that blow out win, Raptors is still continuing their winning streak, winning 17 out of their last 18 games. Pacers really play bad, 12 points in the first quarter? shooting 17%? that's awful. Then finishing 32 in the first half, 2 points less than Toronto scored in the first quarter alone, ouch.

IIRC, of the last 3 games they played this year, Pacers had never won a game and this is their worst loss so far, so we can say that Raptors have dominated them and they might loss easily comes playoff times. Raptors have really improve, after a long streak they loss once and now they are again starting to roll and might create a long streak again.

Even Raptors showed dominance in terms of defense, Pacers penetrated it and they able to find some open spots for an uncontested shot. However, the bad night really struck them. Their shooting percentage is so horrible to the point that even some of their free layups were missed. The rim literally doesn't want to take their shot lol. And the worst aside from that Pacers' horrible performance, one of their player, Jeremy Lamb suffered a season-ending injury. So unfortunate.

This is the worst thing that happen to the team on that game, Jeremy Lamb is a solid contributor to the team and now they'll surely miss his service and their chance now in the playoffs is getting slimmer unless Oladipo will be back on his superstar shape soon. about the injury. https://www.wthr.com/article/pacers-jeremy-lamb-out-season-knee-injury

With your prior statement, they really arent built right now to do damage in the playoffs anyway. To me they are a middling team which is sometimes the worst place to be. Not enough to win anything substantial but not losing enough to change courses.

Maybe that would be better for them. Tanking and rebuilding must be considered. Pacers are currently having a good run overall so tanking at this stage isn't a good idea and I don't see any advantages in the future if they will do that. They are 13 wins ahead on the 9th and 9 wins ahead on the 8th. That proves "a bit" that they shouldn't be taken easily by other teams although we can really expect that there's a chance they might not pass the 1st round. If for let's say the current standing will not change, they will meet the Boston Celtics in the first round. NBA is half-way now and if a team is having a quiet good record at that point, push for it until the end. That Lamb's injury is not a reason for them to raise the flags early. Actually, the talks about if Pacers will do something good in the playoffs is because of their recent horrible performance against the Raptors that shouldn't be a reference in the first place.
I like to bump my previous bet challenge here; will Pelicans make it to playoffs? I'm with NO for BTC0.005. Zion is doing great now so there's a chance that the Pelicans can make it. Will accept the deal for 2 users only. Accepting challenge until Friday 23:59 forum time. Just for fun guys.

The only thing I could remember about the Pacers being a championship caliber team is when Frank Vogel, Paul George, Roy Hibbert, and Danny Granger was all there. After that, the Pacers just became another mediocre team, but atleast they are about to secure a spot in the playoffs this season, but then again they stand almost no chance to beat the top teams in the East.
