DeMar DeRozan is playing really well, he had a great performance against Atlanta so they were able to win the game. In my opinion, a player who should be MVP contributes to his team by scoring more than 30 points in every game.
Even though the Chicago Bulls aren't having a great season but I love this player

I can't tell if you're joking or not..  You know the Chicago bulls are in first place for the entire eastern conference ?  They are having a great season.  I agree with you that an MVP must include the fact that they are leading their team to a strong year.  Unfortunately he's still considered to be 3rd or 4th in the MVP voting race.  I would agree that Joel Embiid is most deserving of it right now, but Demar is second most deserving in my opinion.

Their players are enough to win a championship, the current roster is the reason why the Bulls are successful now. Everything will be good in the playoffs, once players who got injured will come back, they'll be able to play with a healthy roster once again and that way, the Bulls will be a tough team to beat.

Exactly, when Derrick Rose suffered a serious injury and got traded, the Bulls are not fun to watch anymore. DeRozan saves the Bulls, they have their own version of the big 3 also, him Lavine and Vucevic who could really give a tough competition against any team as long as they are all healthy.

Bulls are underrated, even DeRozan is, his odds to win the MVP this season is still low, I think it's like an investment where it's a good buy now if you think of betting on him.

On the plus side we get to see how James Harden and Joel Embiid are going to play together tonight.  I unfortunately won't be able to watch, but I will be catching the highlights later.  I expect they'll come out strong.  James has been complaining about not wanting to have to carry a team and that was his excuse for wanting out of Brooklyn (even though we all know it's because their strip clubs only allow partial nudity) and into Philadelphia (he has so many personal connections to that city, it was inevitable).  So I'd look out for Harden to get a LOT of assists tonight and for Embiid to put up a ridiculous number of points.  We'll see.  Harden hasn't really had a dominant big man to play with, so it will be interesting to see how it works out for him.  I wish I could see the game to really get a feel for how it's going to go, as I suspect the highlights won't tell the full tale.

As far as I can see, the most impressive game of the night is Los Angeles Lakers - Los Angeles Clippers. Lebron and Davis' conditions are still doubtful for this game. And this is a crucial information for Lakers of course. Because especially Lebron is their main source of scoring. He has carried the team like always so far. For now, Lakers are favoured by bookmakers but this can change depending on the final decision about these players. Clippers have been getting a little better results these days and maybe they can continue to do so.

That's some bad scouting right there. However, they could've picked Curry If the GSW didn't have him first. But worst part is, the Knicks missed Derozan. I can say the Knicks doesn't really have a good taste on how to win championships lol.
2011 and 2012 Knicks might be an exception, it's just the Heat were unstoppable during those years.

Harden has never played with the 76ers before, so there will likely be an adjustment period.  Plus, the sixers themselves game up Seth Curry, who was one of their major pieces in my opinion as the guy can shoot the lights out (Nets got lucky getting him).  As the entire team tries to adjust to their new roster, it remains to be seen how well they will play together.  I'm actually surprised they are expected to win at all.  That says a lot about the expectations on their roster based on talent alone.  It wouldn't be crazy to expect the 76ers to hit a rough patch here as they learn to play with Harden, but it also isn't out of the realm of possibility that Harden and Embiid can win games playing pick up style basketball.  I know I wouldn't put up money either way on this game without seeing how the Sixers are going to look with Harden.

That is also my concern. It's no secret that Seth Curry got improved this season and is one of the reasons why Philly is sitting in a good spot in the Western Conference. His Brooklyn Nets debut is also awesome and looks like sending a message to Sixers what they give up.

Moving forward, I'm sure James Harden will try to adjust (obviously) to the current system that Sixers is used to. Remember that there's no single play dedicated to just one guy in most cases, regardless of All-Star or Superstar, here in Sixers. Their usual gameplay is continuous ball rotation different to James Harden's style back in Houston Rockets and Brooklyn Nets.

Let's see if James Harden will be fit for the Sixers "in the long run".

It's not that the Chicago Bulls are not exciting after Derrick Rose but the team just become inactive getting an All-Star caliber player during the previous seasons. Actually, their current lineup is not even expecting to be a monster lineup this season. Before the NBA Season, Chicago Bulls is just considered as the usual Chicago Bulls.

This team really sent a shockwave this season. It's been a while that we see Chicago Bulls competing tightly in the Eastern Conference. I hope they will have a good run on the playoffs even I'm not their avid fan.

The Knicks were all over steph and they needed a point guard bad.  Even worse might be the Timberwolves they had the 2 picks right before golden state and picked two point guards.  Ricky Rubio and Johnny Flynn lol.  But Jordan hill.lasted a couple years.  He wasn't a good nba player at all.  Knicks usually miss on all draft picks.

I think it's better that way for the Bulls, teams might consider them underdogs and yet they are in the number 1 spot. And I would say it was due to DeRozan being acquired by the Bulls, there's no secret that Lavine can't do it by himself, he needed someone to help him and that's where DeRozan comes in. Added Vecuvic to man the middle and Ball as play maker, the Bulls from mediocre to the top of the East now and could be the number one seed after a long time.

LeBron will probably play, and there is more good news as Melo will also return to the court tonight. As for Davis, he is clearly not recovered yet, and he'll be out for a few more weeks anyway. By the way, even if the bookmakers consider the Lakers to be the favorites in this match, it means absolutely nothing because the Clippers have already beaten the Lakers twice this season.

Can't say for sure about the Clippers side since two of their main players was still out though they won against them the last game and they have a good 4 winning streak. If both AD and LBJ aren't there on the court then they probably have the best chance of winning right now once again.

Harden is shooting the lights out and on his way to maybe getting a triple double to start his career with the Sixers. The team looks really good from the clips I’m seeing. I didn’t expect them to come out and demolish teams right away, but that seems to be the case. With a 98.9% chance of them winning after the third quarter, I’d say they came out and did what they were supposed to do. The Wolves aren’t the greatest defensive team, but with the Sixers nearly putting up 100 in three quarters, I’d say the league is on notice.

Funny to say, but before Sixers believe that both he and Embiid are the future of the franchise,

but after that attitude issue not sure if he (Simmons) can be fit for that star caliber treat, he need to comes out strong and prove something to be labelled as one of the prime star, though there are still lots of time for him, still young and still have that fresh legs, if he will learn from KD who knows what contributions KD will be adding to the future career of Simmons.

When Simmons played for Sixers, and I mean really played there he was seen as a great potential player. Amazing ball handler, amazing defender, almost won DPOY as well, superb passer, just not amazing at scoring but he has high bbiq. Nowadays he is not seen like that because he is playing with Irving who is a better ball handler, a lot better scorer with Durant, and if he is not handling the ball how can he pass? So, his defence is the only thing left which makes him less valuable to Nets then he was at Sixers. It is not even about him becoming a joke in the league, it is about him not fitting perfectly in that team and that is the main reason.

That was a good debut of James Harden, he is in a double-double and very efficient with 7/12 shooting, I guess Harden could really be a great partner of Embiid and hopefully, they'll continue to create good chemistry for consistency. Didn't expect that from Harden to be honest.

January 9th. That was the last time the Phoenix Suns lost in their home and now against the Pelicans. Not having Chris Paul put a big toll on them.
With no one to bring back their composure at both ends of the floor, they will be having a difficult time winning their games.
Booker is trying too much, I think he needs to trust his teammates more like what CP3 does. "Ball hog" that's what I saw as I watched the game and they are not that type of a team because they mostly rely on rotation and transition plays. The number of fouls should also be controlled.
