Tonight there is a Hornets - Lakers game. This could be a really difficult game for Lakers as Lebron has had an injury and Davis also might not play in this one. Davis had a great performance against 76ers in their last game and tried to take a big responsibility by 31 points and 12 rebounds. They lost but this was still a significant performance from him. If he also doesn't play, then I don't know what they will do in this game. Hornets are having a good season and they can really benefit from this situation.

I’m looking forward to watching this one. It’ll be the first full game I’ve seen with LaMelo Ball in action. Hopefully AD will be back on the floor and I haven’t heard much about why LeBron was out so I’m not sure if he’ll be playing or not. Westbrook vs Ball should make it worth watching regardless. I know from LaMelo’s highlights and having few nationally televised games that he’ll be looking to put on a show for ESPN in an hour from now. As far as who wins… I think I’m going to have to say Lakers on this one, but I’ll be keeping my money on the sidelines.

It must be feeling sad for Hornets as they are going to be deprived of Kelly Jr. Oubre in this game against Lakers. His last performance was just insanely good. They demolished Pacers by scoring 158 points which was really absurd I mean. And Oubre was really impressive by 39 points. But they still have LaMelo Ball. He is a talented player and quite capable also. If Lakers also are deprived of their stars, then Hornets can win another game. They are doing really good by fighting for the playoffs and they are safe for now.

Heat will win this, I also favor them to win on their home court, however, the betting line or the point spread is very high, I think the Clippers will be able to cover it as they are still very competitive despite losing their 2 all stars (Leonard and George).  I know I will enjoy watching this game, I hope my expectation that it will be a close game will happen. 

Yeah, the Heat looks clearly the favorite in this match. However, there are rumors that Butler is questionable tonight. So it might be a close game if he doesn't play. It's also worth noting these teams have already faced each other this season, and the Clippers showed that they can beat the Heat.

I see a really nice game between Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers tonight. Clippers are having a so unlucky season that they don't have Paul George and Kawhi Leonard due to long-lasting injuries. But they are still holding onto the playoff zone as strong as possible now. And Heat are just amazing now. They are the leader of their conference now. They are showing a really great performance this season and I already wonder about what they would do in the playoffs. As for this game, I'm favouring Heat to win for sure.

I've got Clippers with the benefit of the spread. Even though they are without their best players, it's clear that they are still an extremely competitive basketball team (as illustrated by their various comebacks in the past few weeks).

Westbrook had the most points by a Laker in a half at Staples Center (Crypto.com Arena) since Kobe Bryant in his final game. Pretty impressive. Of course Dwight Howard didn’t get any minutes because why would Frank Vogel play his best big man since AD was out… I think the Lakers are just letting Vogel keep his job until the All Star break. It’s obvious he needs to go.

As I have said in the past, Vogel's coaching tenure might be over after the All Star break. The Lakers management have been tinkering of removing him from the job. Maybe the only reason why they still consider him is that he gave them a championship. But this season, it was really different as they struggle to stay above .500 even with a solid team roster. So let's see what will be the final decision by the Lakers. But I'm sure everyone wouldn't be surprised if he gets axe as the coach of the Lakers for the remainder of the season.

And another win for the Phoenix Suns. Someone stop these guys. 9th winning streak. Chris Paul keeping his cool despite being fouled hard by an annoyed Prince, well that's after he nutmeg him.  But we could see how much he grown. He won't let those type of reactions get the better of him.
Big numbers for CP3 earning a triple-double. 2nd for the season and 21st for his career. Something that should be celebrated by the Suns team as he gets better and so does their chemistry.

Curry - Thompson duo was great last night and it was promising for the coming games too. I really missed to watch these two players playing at the same time. Thompson is getting better by every game and it is nice to see. He is one of the greatest shooting guards in NBA now and he is a very important player for Warriors. In the absence of him, Curry had to carry the team but thankfully he did a great job. Because he is just an insane player. But this wouldn't have gone like this all the time in the playoffs too.

Looks like the splash brothers are back, this is their 2nd game where they dominate their opponent, their 3 point shooting is just flawless and Thompson seems to be very confident now and his shots are really falling. I like this team, they look like the old warriors, a team that is almost unbeatable.

Klay Thompson is in fact showing some really nice improvement since he returned this season, there maybe some setbacks and adjustments but that didn't last long and now they're slowly coming back dominating almost every team they've faced and will face. They are on their 4th win streak now and crawling to have the #1 spot on the Western Conference again. We'll see on Sunday in their face off against the Nets if they'll will be that consistent.

Yes, Warriors is getting better again, what we have a witness from the last night's game is what we really wanted

them to perform, all cast rotations and everyone is sharing their respective role, so far, after Klay's comeback

The Splash bro is doing good and the contributions are increasing. With that, we will see them completely back

It's hard not to notice the GSW's performance vs Timberwolves, this team is indeed getting better again and now Klay's average PPG is 15.8
The Splash Brothers is now active and again a threat in the league, especially when Green returns because they'll be more tougher and stronger together as they're hard to guard. Can't wait to see them again playing tho!

Except from being obvious, Vogel really needs to go as he's not worth it to be a head coach anymore. I can't stop thinking that he made DeAndre Jordan as center player instead of Dwight Howard, this team really need some big man because AD isn't around but sadly Vogel didn't give any minutes to Howard.

WB made 35 points even without LBJ, hopefully he'll be consistent about this and not just stepping up whenever their lead man is out.

Lebron and Davis both were absent for this game and Lakers were going to have a hard time. Actually, this time Westbrook took the responsibility of carrying the team and he played really nice by scoring 35 points. However, his field goal success percentage was below 50. And you can't win every game while you are depending on a specific player also. Hornets still won by a nice team play.

I saw Michael Jordan smiling when the lead was 20 points and then all of a sudden that smile turns to a frown and then a mad face. Until he cannot take it anymore and walk out of the scene. That was an incredible 2nd half performance by Russell Westbrook and he even made me cheer for him. Truly amazing.
I just wished they used him as a decoy on that last play and let Carmelo do the shooting. Sure he has the hot hands but it could've been better if they took advantage of that and make a surprise play.

A needed win by the Bucks, Giannis almost had 40 points in this game, they should have left him and get that score before getting him out.

It was really a good game, the Bucks has the lead by the Knicks keeps coming back. Not sure about Randall, but he had another bad game not even scoring in double digits again.

The fight was close during 1st to 3rd quarter then the lead become huge on last quarter which is very crucial. I don't know you really want to emphasized on your statement above but Giannis and Middleton completely dominate the game at crucial times which kicks can't handle. A typical game that whoever let go the will to fight will be the loser.

Lebron did not play in the game, so the Lakers are once again undermanned, and though Westbrook had some good game but without their true leader, they cannot be trusted to win against a good team.

Vogel isn't fit for the current roster its pretty obvious so the problem lies either him or with the roster and base on what we are seeing, I think he is the problem so letting him go is a stepping stone for the team to perform better maybe after the all star break.

I thought that the Hornets will blowout their huge lead and loss after but they are lucky that the last shot of Westbrook didn't went in in the final seconds. Its a 2 point lead only but he chooses to shot a three pointer where he has a low percentage. Maybe shooting a perimeter shot where he averages high would be better and put it into overtime than risking a three. Anyway, I just hope that Vogel give more minutes to Howard. I think Howard is more efficient than Jordan but I still don't know why he isn't letting Howard to play. Hmmmmm.

That's not good, sometimes when Westbrook are doing well his teammates are not performing well, so they will still lose as they should be playing as a team effectively. LA Lakers had some serious problem now, Lebron is injured and there's no timetable yet on when he will come back.

I think it's already expected that Hornets will be favored in todays game because Lakers have announced earlier that LeBron and AD won't be available in the game due to their existing injury. And while WB led the team temporarily and made 30+ points doesn't make them more secure because you're correct mate, the other players are just heavily depending to their key players and doesn't help contribute points.
While the Hornets are consisted of young and new players but their performance and talents are just undeniably great as they're continue to show the league what they got. And note, almost all of them made 20+ points.

He did, but it was still a close game and I'm impressed with how the Clippers are playing so far. They don't need a star player like PG, they are playing well as a team, it's just unfortunate that they don't have enough talent to compete against a top team like the Miami Heat.
