January 9th. That was the last time the Phoenix Suns lost in their home and now against the Pelicans. Not having Chris Paul put a big toll on them.
With no one to bring back their composure at both ends of the floor, they will be having a difficult time winning their games.
Booker is trying too much, I think he needs to trust his teammates more like what CP3 does. "Ball hog" that's what I saw as I watched the game and they are not that type of a team because they mostly rely on rotation and transition plays. The number of fouls should also be controlled.
33/41 Free throws made by the Pelicans because of the high number of fouls made by the Suns.

Just remember that it was CP3 who made the team better, without him the team will really struggle. Give them time to reflect on their mistakes, for sure they'll bounce back in their next game as the Suns overall are still a great team, fun to watch and my 2nd favorite in the West.

Almost a triple double. Its almost the same stats as when he is still in Brooklyn. He isn't only focusing on scoring anymore but more on passing as well.

Well, hoping for Harden for the best and not to re-injure his hamstring again because playoffs are near already. The 76ers really is a strong team when Harden is playing but without him, I think they will be having a hard time when playoff comes.

This has been the problem of CP3 ever since. When they needed him the most, he gets injured.
Well, they are in a good spot still since they are at the top but I don't think that they can hold it even though they are 6 games above the Warriors. Fulfilling what Paul is doing will be hard. You don't have a passer, a floor general and a great shooter as well. I agree though that lets give them some time to adjust with this. I don't think that the Suns will just take this loss for granted and will not adjust things.

Well, I did expect this to happen but I can't believe that he will fit just right with team this fast without some struggle on his transition. Yes, hopefully this will be consistent and maybe this time, Harden will have his 1st ring.

I was expecting a fierce competition between Lakers and Clippers last night and I got the thing I wanted from this game. After a big competition, Clippers were the winner of the game by 105-102. Lebron played for Lakers gratefully and at least they fought back really hard against their opponent. However Lebron didn't score too many points also. If he was able to score more, they would have won this game in fact. Clippers still continue to do a good job in the absence of George and Leonard.

Lebron is definitely not contented with the current lineup of his team now. He wants a lineup that he can lead again but he won't need to carry all the games. Because it is the thing happening this season. Lebron is like he has no other choice than carrying the team every game. And this makes Lakers have big difficulties already now before the playoffs. To early to tell about how they work well since in the first place they are much stronger than Minnesota and maybe they can test their new additions and team chemistry if they face a playoff contender teams. But for now they work pretty fine but they need to prove more because this is just their first day playing with harden in court.

Sixers now have Harden and Embiid, that's official as they are the superstar of the team. Before, they are very predictable as Embiid usually carry his team, but now they have Harden so the focus will not be on Embiid alone.

Since I'm impressed by their performance, I check the odds for the Sixers to be the NBA winner this season and it's +800... I think I'm now attracted to take it. What do you think guys?

We shouldn't really make a conclusion out of just a single game. However, what did people really expected? I mean Embiid is on an MVP candidate season, and they just added another MVP level player next to him. Not like they lost anything neither because Simmons wasn't playing, so they literally just got Harden for free technically. That should be good enough reason to expect them to play a lot better, it is really easy prediction. Will they be good enough to win the east?

I do not know, Harden has been known to crack under pressure and end up losing, so I would guess that there could be some situations where Harden starts to suck during playoffs, but if he could get it together, then he could be doing a lot better in the long run.

I'm not sure how many times he practiced, but just like his debut with the Nets, he was also playing like a real superstar, the only problem with him with the Nets is the consistency, well, I can understand because they have Durant and Irving where he needs to share the ball with, while in Sixers, he can score anytime he wants as long as he is consistent, I'm sure Embiid would not mind if that will result to the improvement of the team.

Crossing my fingers. They won a game without Chris Paul against OKC, that is why I trusted them to continue winning even against the Pelicans.
I think it's also my fault for underestimating the Pelicans for they have CJ McCollum now who made a big contribution at 32 points in 35 minutes. Valanciunas and Ingram could steady at their roles now that they have a shooter in their roster and the spacing became wider for anyone thinking about attacking the paint.

I have to say, RJ Barrett was doing all the work on the Knicks end, that's some good show he presented for the Knicks fan.
I hate to say it but they are lacking everything on the defensive end. Then they are being careless with the ball just giving it away to anyone.
Miami Heat got 13 steals. Yikes! Knicks are confused of who will handle the ball and I think they should talk about that because this kind of game will keep on repeating even if someone steps up his game. It will just be a waste of energy.

Why not? with the addition of Harden, their case has become stronger to e be a NBA winner but they are going to thread a needle, but still work a risk.

I agree that we shouldn't just the Sixers with just one game performance of Harden. But we can say that his presence in the floor was felt right now and opposing teams will have to deal with 2 MVP calibers players at Sixers now. Plus their role players who is under rated but perform the task every night.

One of the most mentioned players of this topic, James Harden, played his first game after the trade to 76ers. And what a performance. 35 minutes, 35 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists. Quite impressive for a first game. Although, have to mention that 76ers got a big lead early in the game and Harden had considerably an easy game. Regardless, 3 three 76ers players were exceptionally good. Embid, Harden and Maxey. Embid is already a MVP candidate but I really liked Maxey in this game also. 76ers look promising even though it is only the first game of Harden. I really wonder how will their performance be against the strong teams in the league. And of course the playoffs.
