I think it's going to be close with Memphis as the Grizzlies are on a winning streak right now. So maybe the Nuggets will maintain the top spot, but it doesn't good to look at when they are not winning.

And this might be a similar case with the Suns a couple of season ago when they are on the top of the West but eventually lost.

So regardless, they have to win because entering the playoff they have to build the momentum.

Now that the season is almost ending, a team that is at the top experiencing more losses does not look good to me. Momentum is very important when it comes to the playoffs. So if Denver continues losing games, it might not help them. We might be surprised if they are out in the first round. As per the latest standings, they are number 1, but they are 5-5 in their last 10 games.

The season is almost done and ready to move to the next round,

well it's true that team should bring the winning culture moving to the next round. And from those stats, Denver is not doing well though there might be a lot of adjustments to improve and to continue their chase in winning the ring.

Still too early though for that but looking forward to seeing them playing solid and start again with their usual routine.

Well, yes, I'm also rooting for the same thing for the Denver Nuggets because it's just hard to believe that they are losing in their previous games as that's not the true Nuggets. They are not inconsistent but this time they are and then they reliable enough but this time again, they aren't. It is just hard to explain what's the reason behind their losses because the stats are saying the opposite thing.

The Los Angeles Lakers keep holding on at the number 10 spot and they really needed the win tonight thankfully they were able to easily beat Orlando Magic with the huge performance from Austin Reaves. Now that they are close to ending the season games, they should really work harder in the remaining games in order to secure that spot, or they might have a chance to increase their rank which will gonna help them to skip playing the play-in tournament.

Especially next game because they are about to face the Phoenix Suns who is still a threat to their current standing even if Kevin Durant is still not on the Suns roster. It's a must win game for the side of the Lakers because there's a lot of things that could happen to the current standing if they cannot manage to defeat the Suns but I guess it won't be an easy journey considering that Booker could explode anytime.

Well, at least they are now back on track and won their game earlier but I'm still not that convinced that they are already back because what happened earlier is not that impressive to me. They could've got defeated by the Nets if they kept on making some mistakes especially in the last quarter when the Nets suddenly rallied while the Nuggets are somehow complacent because they owned the 1st 3 rounds of the game. Still not good, and for their last 10 games, they will be tested again by the heavy teams of the league.

The match between the Denver Nuggets and the Brooklyn Nets was really close. I think this is going to be a confidence booster. But at the same time, this is meant to make them understand that they are not planning to walk over the opponents that they have left. The next matches are expected to be very tough for them. I also agree that they could have been defeated by the Nets if they had made any more mistakes in that match. They will have to remember that they are probably not on track to stay at the top if they repeat these types of mistakes in the upcoming matches.

Experience really matter on important on crucial games but that will not come always as basketball always change. Warrior current rooster has to  many discrepancy and maybe this will result for their big lose if they can't fill this, also the absence of Wiggins in the rooster is a big gap to fill since we already see how important he is in the rotation so if he cannot go back on Playoffs maybe this will be though for them.

If they are complete with GP2 added in the rooster maybe they had a chance but we cannot say it will be easy for them to win a championship because we know how teams prepared also to win this season.

In fairness to Golden State Warriors though, this team is already proven to always show "big changes" once playoffs come.

Disregarding how bad they are and not well-performing in a season, that all will be erased once playoffs come and every team will start at a 0-0 standing.

I will still treat them as a big deal in the Western Conference once playoffs come. Prior to that though, they need to make the playoffs first, and looking at the current competition in the West, too tight that almost 9 teams are all possible to be in the play-in tournament.

I got no doubt about the Warriors as well because they already proved it numerous times that the Warriors in the regular games and the Warriors in the playoffs are really different. They may be look weak in the regular season just like what they are now but once they playoffs commence, they will always evolve into a much dangerous team and their difference from other teams will be evident as right now, they've got the most experience as a whole team, especially the core players.

But for now, they should successfully get through their upcoming games first to make sure that they will get their own seat in the upcoming playoffs. Games will be much intense and tighter in the next games, they better solve their problems now as they are looking so vulnerable on the road.

I think the momentum right now doesn't really matter at this stage not because we are close to playoffs, which many think that it will matter, but because teams are resting players are lot more than usual, hell even players who are in the game "actively" resting. So all in all, I would highly suggest people not to be stuck with the last 10 game of the season and check how they will play during the first rounds. I think warriors still do have a chance because they will be all rested and uninjured.

Players and teams that have already qualified for the playoffs can take some time off, but not for all of the remaining matches. There are teams that want to avoid the seasoned Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat in the playoffs.

Yesterday the Hawks and Raptors lost in the east, the Bulls, Pacers, and Wizards now have another chance to play better and make the playoffs.

There are a plenty of interesting matches to watch. Today, I placed a wager on the Indiana Pacers against the Charlotte Hornets. Three times in a row, the Golden State Warriors have been losing, and they need to win in Houston so that the other teams cannot take its place in the playoffs.

Yes, both teams needed this win but it's fair enough to say that the Lakers needed this game more to advance from their current standing as they are still on a dangerous spot.

In the Suns case, I know that their spot is not yet safe as the competition in the West right now is too tight but even if they get defeated here, it won't have a huge impact to their position compared to the Lakers and they might even retain their spot after having a loss in this game.

Nevertheless, I'm already excited to see this match-up and will be looking forward on how will the Lakers perform against a much heavy team.

I think he has surpasses Caruso being as Laker in this game, as he scored team high 35 points and has been clutch in the 4th quarter.

Media also says that he save Antonio Davis' legacy. But let's see, still a lot of games remaining and they have to win it all so that they will have control, just saying.

That was a big win for them. I was watching the game, and I thought that the Lakers would choke in the end, but Reeves, my man, came up clutch and led the Lakers to a big win. I like his confidence now; he really grew with the Lakers, and thanks to the coach for giving him good playing time.

With that win, the Lakers have tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but they are ranked number 10.

That was quite unexpected from Austin Reaves, I surely didn't see that coming because he's not on the list who have a chance to lead the team towards the W. I did underestimate this kid because all I see is that he's an important role player from the team but never going to be the big man to carry them but earlier this day, he proved me wrong. Now the Lakers is much more worth it to see in the upcoming games because even the undrafted kid is also stepping up his game just to increase their chances to participate the upcoming playoffs.

They go back at Chase but then will have to face one of the hottest team right now, Philly.

So next their next 2 games will be critical before they can go home and defend their homecourt and hope for a good run before the end of the regular season and see where their standings are. Yes, let's see about that but the way I see it, we might see another MVP this time as Joel Embiid is now healthy and probably will stay that way until the regular season ends, and if that happens, he might have the award because of the facts that you've stated above. Furthermore, Embiid has been on this campaign since last season but he failed to get what he wanted because he acquired an unfortunate injury.

Anyway, this will be a good battle for the both MVP favorites because Nikola Jokic is also not giving about it as if he will get it again this time, it will be a three-peat on his side and surely that's a thing he couldn't afford to miss.

Yes, this is true! I have no doubt that the dispute over who will be the MVP this season is fierce, especially Jokic and Embiid.

I have no doubt, Jokic and Embiid will do everything to stand out in these last games.

Actually, a good choice to stick with until the end of the season knowing Warrior's losing streak on their road games is now to the point where it might be recorded as one of the league's worst-established records. The current record of the longest road losing streak by a defending champion was currently owned by the 98-99 Chicago Bulls which has 12 losing streaks.

Warriors are now on their 11th losing streak and their next 2 games were road games against Rockets and Mavericks (as also mentioned above).

They just did. They broke their 11 game road losing streak as they won against the Rockets 121-108.

The bad thing? They broke it against a team who is now eliminated this season. I mean if you're fan of the Warriors like me, you will not be impressed that they won against a bottom seeded team. Well, a win is a win nevertheless, and it's more frustrating if they lose yet again on the road, and against a tanking team like the Rockets.

Splash brothers combine for 59 points with 10/28 shooting from threes. Poole is still inconsistent this season, and he showed it again on this game scoring only 5 points. The one who's stepping up this season is Kuminga. If you're following the Warriors, you know that Kuminga's performance is now better compare to how he performed last season. If Draymond Green will be traded, or if he will not be a starter anymore, I believe Kuminga will be the one who will replace him. I wish he will be an all-star in the next years. . For the Rockets, they didn't play that bad at all as all 5 of their starters scored in double digits as well.

That help that came from their two big men will be the crucial part to snatch every win in their road games. They can do offensive rebounds, especially Looney who had been doing it every single game. But, Klay and Steph must keep this kind of pace too, shooting is what they are good at so it better be at high accuracy, Looney cannot always do that and they are a bit lucky because Alperen Sengun didn't play.

This is the same team who will gonna jeopardize the chance of the top 9 and 10 if they are gonna win most of their games because they are not too far to include from the play-in tournament. with this win, they even get to the number 10 spot and send the Lakers behind them, if the Lakers will continue to struggle, then their chance to push their way to the NBA playoffs will be no more and the Jazz will have the chance to gamble their way to the playoffs. with this kind of scenario, I'm sure it will not be easy for rank numbers 7 and 8 to get to the playoffs if ever the Utah Jazz is included in the play-in tournament.
