Right now the new Los Angels Lakers can have a chance at the championship with that kind of play and if they keep winning every single game from now on then they can surely get to the playoffs, right now D'Angelo Russell (Not WestBrick) is doing amazing things and Lebron James is appreciating it very much, and if Anthony Davis can keep on getting healthy every game then there is a chance,

They have a chance, but it is not very big to be honest. The team needs to improve first, as consistency is crucial. Looking at their record, they are 4-6 in their last 10 games and are currently ranked 13th in the Western Conference. There are several areas for improvement before we can talk about their chances of winning the championship. It might be best to take it slow and aim for a playoff spot first. Once they achieve that, we can assess if they have what it takes to make it to the Western Conference Finals.

They need to focus on proper ball rotation and every play is important so they need to execute it well. There's no time for wasting any opportunity since they are really in bad position since they might lost the chance to go on playoffs if they didn't do their very best to give better plays for their upcoming games. They need strengthen their motivation to go to playoffs since their new line up is so strong and capable to do it so hopefully no blaming game will happen to them since this could lower down their morale.

I thought that I saw some news that Westbrook has begun talks with the Clippers after being given permission by Utah Jazz. Personally, I think the Clippers are the best landing spot for WB right now. He is already established in the city after playing there with the Lakers. The Clippers have lots of shooters that will benefit from Westbrook, and he already established chemistry with Paul George. It will be good to see him play with Kawhi and Paul George.

The development was quick and the articles I shared were made 2 days ago. It seems that he'll be taking Jazz on this case but yeah, there's still an option regardless of the contract that he's with. It seems that he's too easy to be traded when

From what I've been reading so far, he has four options: Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat and Washington Wizards and the commentators on the TV I watched were saying that he could even go to the Chicago Bulls because there he'll find a coaching staff made up of people he knows very well, like Billy Donova and others so it will be much easier for him to adapt, at least I think it would be a good option for him right now

than going to a team and having difficulties adapting and getting involved in some unnecessary noise, in short, as money talks louder, he can choose to go where they pay more money and have conditions to be at the top

Westbrook used to be a good player in OKC. He was able to play with Durant and Harden and still contribute with consistency. Let us not forget that he was once an MVP, averaging a triple-double, and he still has that game now. Unfortunately, his role might not fit with the Lakers as we know LeBron is the king of this team and would always dictate what to do.

Looks like Phoenix is taking an L in the final game before the all star break. They could have used Durant tonight but it won’t be long now before we see his debut. Paul George had himself a game tonight that wasn’t totally reflected in the box score. He was making big plays and hitting hard shots all night. Eric Gordon looks like a great addition also.

Phoenix was out rebounded. outcoached, and outplayed IMO. The Suns need to play more aggressively and get themselves on the free throw line. Get some players in foul trouble and work harder to get wins. Playing soft won't get them anywhere except a seat watching the playoffs.

The Phoenix Suns are actually lucky that Kawhi had a bad 1st quarter to 3rd quarter, all of his shots are either hitting the heel or short. Then, he is forcing all the shots just to get his rhythm. In the end, it was Kawhi (who found his offense at the paint) and PG13 who made big plays that made the Clippers' lead go to distance.
Booker is not yet on his best performance, they may be traces of the old offensive monster but after resting for two months this will be a challenge for him. In their last game against the Sacramento Kings he didn't attempt a three, now versus the Clippers, he tried 6 and only 1 made it thru. The struggle is still lingering although he is not afraid to attack the rim which is a good sign.

Yeah, I saw that too. Let's wait for the formal update about that recent deal. Clippers is also what I read and I think it will not be wrong as WB and PG13 had a good relationship during their Thunder's run.
There are actually good choices for players who were bought out. Will Barton, Reggie Jackson (reported to sign the Nuggets), Terrence Ross (already played for the Suns today), Kevin Love, John Wall, and Russell Westbrook.
The Bulls may want to try mixing things up and take some players here if they are still aiming for the playoffs.

it's better for them to add 2way player who can contribute not just in offense but also with good defense.

They already have 2 players that are amazing at being 2 way players. Both PG and Kawhi are two way players, great at scoring and amazing at defence, they are definitely elite levels at that. However, they are lacking a decent point guard who can setup the game, because right now they end up with players creating their own shots, if Westbrook could become a bit more facilitator instead of a scorer, he could help these guys score a lot more efficiently and that could give Clippers a bit better advantage. Of course, it will all come down to if they can stay healthy because let's face it, Kawhi and PG get injured way too often, which is their real trouble.

I thought that there are teams interested or will pursue Russell Westbrook. But if the news is true then this might be the start of Westbrook declining and no team might not be interested on him anymore.

It's a big win for the Lakers, Russell a big help for them with 21 points. That's the kind of numbers that he is expected to bring with the Lakers. A couple of good alleyoop between AD and him, and I think AD will be liking their combination as Russell loves to pass.

Yeah, that's what I've thought of too. But it seems that the news all over him is telling the same thing and it's all about rejection. Looking at the recent news of his transfer to the Utah Jazz, I guess we'll see another tandem of him and JC.
He contributed well to the Lakers and that's expected from him and looking forward to see how it will end up with his development on another team.

Westbrook is still good for at least 2 years, but I think what fit him is the role he got in OKC, I mean the alpha of the team, maybe in tandem with someone but he needs to be the dominant player in my opinion.

So not sure if he will be good in Jazz with JC, Jazz seems to be more of a team basketball, sharing the load of both defense and scoring and maybe having Westbrook might chance the balance.

I agree, 2 years will still suffice for him to play impressively but not the alpha of any team in the league anymore. Melton, Tucker and Harris are good starters and they have Maxey as sixth man. The only problem I see is their narrow rotation. They should have at least two more reliable players in the rotation. Milton and Niang are there but I don't think that's enough. In case we see an injury it might blow Philly's chances.

They didn't make any move in the free market, they only got a decent back up center to Joel in Melton from the Miami Heat. The let go of Thybulle though, which I think is someone that can stretch them in rotation.

The fans are also sleeping during their games because no one is there anymore for a real support , why ? @boltz is hilarious because that's how I feel too. You like the team and yet they won't provide something to cheer them. It's exhausting. I've seen Lavine played better but this one is not his best. They got a shot to win it after Giannis was injured, a very big opportunity to hustle the Bucks especially on the painted area.
He is the face of the Bulls for crying out loud, at least show some energy that will boost the crowd in your home game. Chicago Bulls is a goner if their management will not do anything to patch this up.

Westbrook's stats have slipped a lot this season, and I wouldn't call him a scorer since he averages only 15.9 points per game. I think the problem with Westbrook is that he sometimes turns into Westbrick, which is probably the main reason why most teams in the league aren't interested in him. Even if he signs with the Clippers, it will still be hard to predict whether he will be useful to them or not.

The leadership between Zach and DeRozan is something that's not blending too well. I think they needed to find ways to work these things out, as these two superstars are good from their respective positions.

They can dominate one on one but the thing with the defense both needs to adjust and call for their teammates
to give some stop, especially in the dying quarters of the game. They are just good at the start, but finishing the
win, that's something that the coaching staff needs to work more.

I really don’t like the way they’ve changed the team names here. I used to like the freshman bs sophomore battles and it was easy to identify which team was which. I have no idea how these teams are arranged or who is on which team. It makes no sense that they’ve started doing this in an attempt to make the games seem more “street.” This is what happens when outsiders are in charge of things.

They had a big win on LeBron's comeback, which is good for a start. Hopefully, they can build momentum from there. You're right, they really need to be more consistent now. A playoff spot is very important as it guarantees being part of the competition, whereas getting into the play-in is quite hard as they'll have to play a few games only to qualify.

LeBron was reported to have played with a foot injury. Hopefully, the rumors are not true because we need a healthy LeBron and of course, AD.

It was a good win, and now the Lakers should win as many upcoming games as possible. By the way, it should be noted that the teams from 9th to 13th place in the Western Conference standings are very close in terms of wins/losses. So the Lakers still have a chance, although it won't be an easy task for them as there will surely be an intense battle for the last place in the play-in tournament by the end of the regular season.

That will be a tough challenge for the Lakers and they surely know what they are facing up ahead on their next games before this season ends, but I think they can still manage to get a slot in the play-in tournament. What they need is to be very consistent because the remaining games are very limited only, they can still afford to lose but they should win most of the games as I think they only have 20+ games left.

Watching their game earlier against the Clippers makes me think and wonder that this team might choke again in the early rounds of the playoffs if ever they will have a seat. Fortunately, their chances has improved because they already have Kevin Durant in the roster with them who will give a good impact for the team but that is still unknown at this stage because Durant is still injured and will likely play few games before the season ends.
