Actually, His prime is not that explosive especially his consistency during playoffs which always on/off on crucial games. The previous roster of Miami that highlighted his career is due to well-balanced roster that they have including the bench.

But I doubt he can carry a team solely like the typical star player like Lebron in prime, Luka, Kawhi and so on.

Miami will be happy to trade him to get another promising roster for their future team since they have the best coach.

Yeah, Butler is a fluke when he traded to Miami since he was given a spot light despite his skills as a superstar is not that reliable. I doubt that he can do the same thing once he was traded especially on teams that already have their own young superstar.

His best chance is to go on building team like Wizards or trade him to Pelicans with Zion Williamson since both of them are cancer on their respective team.

Why woukd butler at 35 years old want to go to the wizards who has zero shot at making a run anytime soon.  Butler has a couple years left he wants to go to a contender.  And vice versa why woukd a team like the wizards give up any draft capital or young talent to get someone like butler.  Makes no sense for them, they are rebuilding.  

I think somehow he is going to end up as the next dinosaur to join the Lakers honestly. Maybe Lebron will think he can control Butler and they along with Davis can lead them to another ring.

I do agree that he will not want to go somewhere that has 0 chance of a ring.

Los Angeles fire is very sad, I hope it will end soon and they will recover. Today's games for the Lakers and Clippers have also been postponed.

The game between the Grizzlies and Timberwolves was very exciting. You didn't know who was going to win until the last ball. Morant's basket gave the Grizzlies the lead and on the last possession, the Timberwolves got the ball to Edwards late and he tried a difficult three-pointer that didn't go in. The Grizzlies thus won the game.
Morant scored the game winner even though he threw bricks all game long. Jaren Jackson Jr. was the star of the game with 33 points. Donte DiVincenzo had a season high 27 points for the Timberwolves. It was a bad game for Edwards, other players kept the Wolves alive, but it wasn't enough to win.

Ja Morant for the win! That slightly acrobatic shot gave them the lead and sealed the victory. I was starting to feel a bit down when the Wolves went on a run, but thankfully, Memphis bounced back to tie the game and eventually take the lead. It was such a good game as it felt like a playoff matchup.

And, man, Randle, he seemed off, especially during their last play, which looked all messed up. That forced Edwards to take the final shot under pressure. Tough ending for the Wolves, but an exciting game overall.

It's been days since it happened. Many houses are lost, and it seems like there's no stopping from it for now. I just hope that everybody is okay on LA. Burned houses and other things can be replaced, but lives aren't. I feel bad for some for the lost memories though.

As for Randle, I would also give it to Edwards despite having a bad night with only 4/13 shooting because he's their main guy. Nevertheless, it's a good road win for the Grizzlies and that improves them to 25-14 while the Timberwolves are now 20-18.

Yeah, it looks like Randle doesn't want to shoot the ball, Lol, and so he decided to pass it to Edwards who happens to be well guarded. And I think it's bad set up play, I would rather Edwards received a ball thru multiple picks instead of him the one doing the passing. Perhaps they want to confuse Memphis as they know that Edwards will be guarded but that's how franchise players should be, they will have the ball in dying seconds to shoot, not just this play wherein the receiver hesitated and then pass the ball with no time to go.

We should also give credit to Ja Morant here, two difficult shots, one against Rudy Gobert and then against Edwards.

So good road win for Memphis as they snap the Wolves winning streak.

Denver is already a great team, and they have what it takes to win all of this, so adding another player to a working system is of course going to make that player look better in some games. Take Westbrook out of that team, and put him into Wizards again, and you would see a much much worse Westbrook, because that team is bad, so in a bad team a player can't shine and ends up being worse, on a great team the player gets a lot better results.

Don't know if they could able to let Austin Reaves go or even Hachimura since they are important players on their team. Also even if they make this trade to happen they might sacrifice their rotation and provably their second unit might become compromised and chances that they might still not get best result in this trade.

There are other possible trade scenarios been discuss but I don't think Miami would like the No.2 and No.3 option.

Take the year that they became a champions, KCP, Bruce Brown, Gordon, MPJ, and Murray were playing in their prime after the injury. Defense made their team much better and now it's different. I think the reason why Nuggets failed to defend their title is because they trade away all their bench players that play an important role during their championship run. They didn’t even retain their same roster for a year rather they are confident enough with their starting 5 to perform the same without the need of reliable bench players.

MPJ choke same with Murray and KCP. They even use Braun as substitute for starter since their main line-up crumbling due to lack of veteran bench players that continue the tempo and create momentum for them when the game is bad.

And it's true, he doesn't have the control here, it was still Miami, if they are not happy on what package they are getting from Phoenix, they might as well send him to a low team.

I agree to that, the ball went to Randle as one of their star he also have that license to take that shot but instead he choose to pass it to ANT for that highly contested shot, it's a call and every players who are in this league they are being paid to take that risk, if you made it then celebrate if you missed it then move forward.

It's a win or go home not sure if until now Randle is still on his adjustment period, still a good game for all the fans especially to those who back up the Grizzlies..

As a knicks fan they are so frustrating.  Lose horribly one night and then beat the bucks by 30 another.  The bench wasnt too bad in todays game but going forward the only way knicks contend with top teams is if they snag a bench scorer or 2.  Mitchell robinson should be coming back soon but he cant be trusted to be healthy for any significant period.  TJ warren is on their g league team and killing it.  Knicks cant sign him until march.

It's probably his own making though, I'm a big fan of Jimmy specially in his prime when he bring the Heat to the finals. However, it was not the same Jimmy this season as he was plague with injuries. I guess it's because that his age is catching up with him.

Drama is still on though, lots of speculations as to which team he will go as there are no short of teams that wanted to get him. But still boils down on the old head Pat Riley on what he thinks will be the best for his team after they let go of Jimmy Butler.

Who wouldn't be happy with the results, Knicks has been doing lately although there are games that you thought that they are going to win, then suddenly they've lost and most betters just scratch their head.

But here against a strong team, they've shown what they made of, and Jalen Brunson doesn't want to lose again and so they just go over and beat the Bucks with a huge margin. I didn't bet on this game though, but was able to win on the OKC win against the Wizards as OKC also won by a big margin.

You are surprised because there’s no superstar in there but if you look the way they play you will notice how good their teamwork by not relying to single player to create points and use their center properly to create space and points at the same time.

Jalen Green is so consistent when it comes to pints contribution. Not that explosive like Luka but he is reliable and consistent that makes him very important player for Rockets.

Simply they are playing as a team while other team is still struggling to be synchronized at this moment.

The Rockets this season will be the next "Thunder last season".

Remember when the Thunder clinched the top spot in the West, but got eliminated by the 5th seeded Mavericks? That's because they're inexperienced. Their players and their coach as well don't have that much experience in the playoffs, and we know that playoff is different from the regular season in terms of the competitiveness and more. The good thing about the Thunder is that they've already secured their future with those key players that they have right now plus their bench is very deep, and I will not be surprised if they will be in the NBA Finals 3-5 years from now.

As for the Rockets, they're second currently, and it's the same with the Thunder that they've found the perfect pieces for them to compete already. While I don't expect too much from them when the playoff comes, it's just good that they got key players to develop for the future of the team, and let's not forget that they're being coached by Ime Udoka. I hope that injuries will not hinder their good regular season performance, so that they will maintain this spot.
