As a knicks fan they are so frustrating.  Lose horribly one night and then beat the bucks by 30 another.  The bench wasnt too bad in todays game but going forward the only way knicks contend with top teams is if they snag a bench scorer or 2.  Mitchell robinson should be coming back soon but he cant be trusted to be healthy for any significant period.  TJ warren is on their g league team and killing it.  Knicks cant sign him until march.  

Thoughts on tj warren for you older heads?

He played really well during that stint with the Brooklyn Nets but was not given many minutes so he cannot showcase his skills. I think it's in the bubble where he shined the most with the Pacers. When I see him play, I see Wiggins (GSW) I don't know why. Perhaps, the high level of defense and the shooting style, just simple basketball.

Anyway, I didn't expect it would be the Pacers who would stop the winning streak of the strong Cleveland Cavaliers. That's one heck of a game for the Pacers but they cannot celebrate yet. In the next game, they will face the Cavs again and I bet they will receive a vengeful attack from the top team of the East.

I still can't believe my eyes that Rockets are the 2nd placed team in the Western Conference.    First I thought they wouldn't last long in upper positions but they still don't drop down. A dedicated work it is there!

Alperen Şengün has been playing a big role in that though. His scoring and rebounding skills are evolved even more this season. After a lasting injury he has made an amazing return for sure and he is cooking.  

Since they've got Sengun and other contributors like Green, Brooks, veteran Vanvleet and the others too, they're doing great. I think they've got a good roster now and I hope that the Rockets management will take care of it. Because at most times in the past, even if the roster is doing good, they're breaking it and trading even it is not necessary for the team.

I hope he can help Rockets get themselves into playoffs directly too. It seems like he is getting lots of votes for All-Star this year but I'm afraid this won't still be enough to watch him in the starting lineup in the new format.

He's making a name for himself and this is the type of love that every good player get from not just their team fans but for the entire NBA fansdom.

It has something to do with this coach as well, we know that he was really that good, guiding the Celtics before in the finals. Although he was removed because of personal reasons. And then they have sign a lot of players, FVF and then Dillon Brooks. And for sure we never thought that Brooks will thrive with them because he is a controversial figure and I think that's why the Memphis left him go.

And now this players are doing good, with Alperen Şengün as their center and then we have the young and athletic Jalen Green and then those role players. So it was a perfecdt fit right now. But I'm seeing that their lack of experience might cause then to lose in the playoffs, just like what the Thunder did last year. Top of the division but then they were still very young. But it's a different Thunder team right now, so let's see how far the Rockets will go.

Anybody catch that Grayson Allen reverse layup highlight the other day for the Suns? I’m not a fan of him at all and don’t think he belongs in the NBA due to his history of dirty play. He’s been a great pickup for the Suns though. Between his 3 point shooting % and pulling off highlights like that, it’s getting hard to dislike him.

For the case of Jimmy Butler, it will be a disaster for him if he was traded to the Wizards just because Pat Riley wanted to f**k him off. And it's true, he doesn't have the control here, it was still Miami, if they are not happy on what package they are getting from Phoenix, they might as well send him to a low team.

Butler is one of the unluckiest names this year. We all saw how great he was last season, I really feel sorry that he is dealing with such problems this season. I don't know if he deserves to experience these.
If he goes to a team with championship potential, maybe we will watch him as a champion, he is someone who can give great support to any team. But there is nothing he can do in a place like Washington, such a deal could mean the end of his career

Screwing up relations with the Heat's front office, Butler made it harder on himself. I saw on one site that Riley sent a 10-page letter to the Players Association about Butler's missteps. Moreover, Butler is 35 years old, and his value on the market is not as great as it used to be. Honestly, even if the Heat don't trade him before the deadline, it's unlikely there will be much demand for him in the offseason, especially from teams with championship potential.

As for the Rockets, they're second currently, and it's the same with the Thunder that they've found the perfect pieces for them to compete already. While I don't expect too much from them when the playoff comes, it's just good that they got key players to develop for the future of the team, and let's not forget that they're being coached by Ime Udoka. I hope that injuries will not hinder their good regular season performance, so that they will maintain this spot.

Talking about the Rockets, they’ll be facing the number 3 team tomorrow - Memphis. It’s definitely going to be a great matchup. Memphis is back to being healthy, and after their win against Minnesota, let’s see if they can carry that momentum.

That 16-2 run on the 4th quarter by the Rockets gave them the comeback win against the Grizzlies. They won by 2 points 120-118.
Morant also missed the 2 crucial free throws in the final seconds of the game. It could be a one-possession game if sinks those 2 free throws, but he wasn't.

I didn't saw your bet though unfortunately, but I already put my bet on the Rockets since the 2nd quarter of the game with around 2.7 odds. Jalen Green tied his career high with 42 points while Morant and Bane combined for 54 points. Good win for the home team.
I want to say something about the Warriors losing to a bottom-seed Raptors, but I would want to say that "Don't sleep at the Detroit Pistons!!!."

They're currently 8th in the East and already won 8 out of their last 10 games. They just defeated the top 3 team in the Knicks on their home 124-119. Cunningham led the team with 36 points alongside Beasley with 22 off the bench plus those 2 crucial three-point shot to seal the deal. Also, 6 players are also in double-digits.

While I'm not expecting too much from them this season especially in the playoffs (if they clinch), we can say that the team improved so much compared to where they are last season where many are mocking them to just sell the team because of how awful they played the whole season.

There 5 players are really good and this Line up is pretty solid.
though they are lacking of the real Center. Mitchelle is really a good one but the health issue is a big threat!

Today, they loose to a struggling team also of Detroit.

Although Allen have reputation due to his dirty plays made before but I still think he's a solid asset for his team. The guy is solid perimeter defender and reliable 3 pt shooter or we can say all around man.

He's a good catch by Suns since they get a hard working role player. But seems his role is to do those dirty things for their team and he just play good with the role given to him.

It was nice seeing Chris Paul and Wemby giving their jerseys to JJ Redick’s kids who have just lost their home in the Los Angeles wildfires. They seemed in good spirits and JJ has been seen putting up shots after practice to calm his nerves about the situation. A shame that regular people are having to face the consequences of poor government preparation.

I don't know if there's something wrong with the Knicks or it's just the Pistons beating all those high-ranked teams. It could've been an 8 winning streak actually, if they were not beaten by the Warriors on a very close game. Just a 3 point difference.
I bet on the Knicks in that game, I won't lie about that because I am expecting them to win. They defeated the Bucks in a blowout, which is something, any NBA gambler would think the Knicks will win this match easily if they can beat the Bucks. But, I was wrong. The Pistons are getting scary, maybe they just started slow and they are now gaining some chemistry and momentum. I will definitely think about betting against them next time.

That’s a really thoughtful gesture. The people in LA definitely need support right now, especially with everything they’ve gone through, losing their homes or seeing their loved ones affected.

As for the game, I think the Lakers’ loss might be tied to the situation. It’s hard not to be distracted when something this big happens, especially for the coach, who you mentioned lost a home. Hopefully, things settle down soon so they can start rebuilding their lives. Once that happens, the players can regain their full focus and get back to playing at their best.

Shams is reporting that Jimmy Butler met with Pat Riley face to face to discuss their issues. Jimmy reportedly told Pat Riley that he will not resign with the Miami Heat under any circumstances and wants to be traded. As much as this goes against Pat’s legacy, he might need to swallow some pride and get what he can for Jimmy now.

Dark horse candidate for this season seems like Houston Rockets. They are 26-12 right now and that is how you draft properly and improve. They had a 22-60 season, a 41-41 season, and now they are at 26-12 already, all back to back, in three seasons they improved insanely.

Alperen Sengun and Jalen Green are the main stars, they are playing amazingly together, with Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks coming in with that veteran help as well, and they have bunch of other young prospects that are contributing insanely well too. Look at Amen Thompson, Jabari Smith, Tari Eason, they are all great players and doing awesome. Steven Adams was also a great addition for centre rotation as well, I can't wait to see what Steven Adams and Alperen together could look like, but that doesn't seem to be working so they don't do that much at all.

I thought that the Golden State Warriors could be the dark horse in this season as they really started hot with Buddy Hield. But obviously, it was just a burst in the beginning and now they are no longer in the top and keep on struggling every game.

Yeah, when Adams was healthy with the Grizzlies he was like the stabilizing factor for the team. One on the strongest if not the strongest NBA players that we have, can't wait to see him bone crushing screen, Lol. Sengun though is for real, this kid has a great talent, it's like we are seeing Nikola Jokic when he was just starting in the league.

So I'm currently boycotting my favorite team the Chicago Bulls due to ownership being unwilling to spend any money on talent, or only enough to stay competitive but not good enough to actually win anything.  Anyways I did watch the Derrick Rose jersey hanging ceremony the other day and it got me a bit emotional. 

Who remembers prime DRose and how incredible he was ? He was so fun to watch, something special and sort of player that's never been like who he was before.  Wish his health hadn't ever failed him.

Who would forget a prime DRose, him dunking over Nash, and then his killer cross overs. It just so happen that he was in the era or at least in the division same as Lebron James during that time. It's just very unfortunate for him to go and match against that version of Lebron in Cavs.

If I'm not mistaken, Allen is athletic during his college days, but he grow so much and then he has to make adjustments in his play with he enter the league.

So yeah, not that much impressive as other players can do it as well, but in that moment, let's give him the credit for pulling that one out. Although I will agree that Grayson turns out to be a dirty player or maybe he just play good defense, but still the stigma will be there for him on how he hurts player and he is lucky that he is still playing in this league. One strengths of him is that he developed to be a good outside shooter which is like the norm now in the NBA.

We'll see, although I honestly doubt it. The Warriors have played almost half of the regular season and are still at the bottom of the standings. I mean, they aren't performing convincingly, and their current results aren't even good enough to qualify for the play-in tournament.
I'm still inclined to think that Klay's leaving has affected them. Even though Curry is still doing well, he can't win the championship alone.
