That one player is Curry. Remember last year’s playoffs? The Warriors were still in it and able to advance in the 2nd round, then once Curry got injured, they collapsed and lost to the Wolves, if I remember right, so I guess it’s fair to say he’s the one carrying this team. Without him, or if he’s injured, this team isn’t a championship team at all.

I don’t really agree. Curry and Butler dropped 67 together and they still lost to Orlando without Banchero.
And even when Curry put up 38, they still lost to Portland... I think this team has a serious problem with creativity.

In their current form, the Warriors are a team whose results depend heavily on Curry. If Curry is out for a long time, don't be surprised if you suddenly find the Warriors at the bottom of the standings.
Personally, I think the Warriors' management made a mistake when they decided to sign Green to a $100 million contract. In fact, they spent a good portion of their salary cap on Green, even though they could have signed a few good role players for the same amount, who would have been more useful, especially during Curry's injury.

That's right. Because the Warriors offense is built around Curry. Without him, there will be no more 3pt threat that could draw multiple defenders and create open man. Of course there are still who are capable of shooting 3s, but it's completely different when Curry is on the floor, because he can create any shots he want and still get high percentage that it will go in.
If they are struggling while Curry is still playing, I can't imagine how much they'll struggle much without him.

It's expected that he'll be back on the court in the next few days, but his participation in the game against the Lakers is still questionable. I think the Mavs don't need to rush him back to show how valuable he is because everyone already knows that Davis is a great player, but only when he's fully healthy.
Regarding a possible trade, I think many teams would like to have him, but not with the contract he currently has.

While "technically" he is out of the list, he hasn't played a game in a lot of time, many months, I do not think he has the shape to play in a game just yet, he is going to be able to play few minutes there is no doubt about that but he can't just come back and be something for them, he will play maybe like 10-15 minutes with minutes restriction until he is fully healthy and in shape. If they force him back quickly then he is going to get injured yet again.

Moreover, there is really no doubt who is better, Lakers are far greater and there is no doubt, even when the trade was done everyone knew that Lakers got away with a steal, we knew it and even they knew it, and Nico is fired for it after a while, it was always very clear.

Agree! Draymond is a good player who knows how to play with Steph and create shots and block to get Curry a clear shots.
But time has come with dray and he is getting slower and weaker, that money is huge which they can create space for a better and younger player.
But I laso think  that warriors still wants to have a last run with their veterans.

Honestly, Im at a loss for what to expect when I watch the Warriors. Curry is still doing his best, but the rest of the team seems to change from game to game. One day they're playing well, the next they're a completely different team. Their set plays also get bogged down; sometimes they're in a 'let's get Curry to do something so we can score' mode. Of course, that doesn't mean consistent results. They might make the playoffs, but it seems difficult to go far with the way they're playing.

Looks like DeAndre Ayton is listed as probable for tonight’s game while Anthony Davis may still be a game time decision. Dereck Lively is also ruled out which may make things hard for Dallas in the paint. I’m looking forward to seeing Luka and LeBron with DeAndre out there. Of course everyone knows one player definitely cannot win championship alone. We have seen it with T-Mac for example. Never had any good side players, never were able to do anything in the playoffs. Luka might be the best player on the planet right now, but I am very doubtful about the Lakers performance in the playoffs. They may have players who are performing very well at the moment. But I don't know if they can keep it up consistently. I can say I'm a bit of a Lakers fan or that I sympathise with them. I also like Reeves. But I'm not sure how much they can play like a championship-calibre team in the playoffs.

Stephen Curry has to step in but he doesn't, he isn't one of those players that will deal with management issues, Lebron did for many years for example, but Curry isn't like that. He just plays his game, he is paid to do something, he goes out there every time he can and he plays the best he can and leaves that's all he does.

However, he has to step in and just point out that Draymond isn't helping them anymore, because he is a good friend and a teammate for this many years Curry won't do it and that is why they are going to lose. Plus, they won enough titles, maybe it is not about winning titles anymore, maybe they may not care about that, sure it would be fun to win another one, but they won four together and that feels like enough for most. Lebron has that many titles, the best player in the history of NBA according to many, has just four, so Curry must be feeling like he is enough.

I think we should move on with the Nico discussion, or at least the fans of Dallas since they already got what they wanted. He is no longer with them although I don't know if he can get another job in the front office in any NBA team.

As for the game tonight, yes, going to be exciting to see AD against the Lakers and also Luka as both had mutual respects from their former team mates. But when the ball gets toss, they are going to tear each other up but I think the Lakers in the end might win this.

Well, I really expected that he will not play in this game, but... he will play. I wonder if he'll play with limited minutes though. I do hope that he will not re-aggravate his current injury in this game.

I guess the fact that he will be playing against his former team at his former homecourt is one of the reason why he's eager to play but nevertheless, I'm pretty sure that Lakers' fans and even Le-GM is excited to see Davis back in their house. I believe it will be the same crowd as to when Luka came back in Dallas after he got traded. Anyway, nothing changes as to the outcome of this game and I still believe that the Lakers will come out victorious on this one. I mean the Mavericks are struggling as hell.

Brunson and Hart are carrying the scoring for the Knicks. Towns started the game poorly and that's basically why the Bucks are ahead at half time. If Towns gets it together in the second half, the Knicks can win this. It's an important game for both teams because it counts in the NBA Cup.

The Bucks were the defending champs, so you’d expect them to push harder here, but their lineup isn’t the same anymore. They don’t have Lillard now, so personally I’m backing the Knicks to take this game and cover. I already put a small bet on them.
