Clippers - Warriors was really a close one... Clippers didn't have Harden this time but still they managed to win. I didn't like Kawhi in this game much though. Mainly because of 0/8 3 pointers. 

I can't say Curry showed one of his best performances either with 4/15 3 pointers despite 27 points. This sport isn't all about the number of points scored in the end. Efficiency is also important. Because if you aren't efficient enough you are the one dragging your team down.

The craziest thing of the night was the way Thunder lost to Hornets I think.  

This must be the worst performance of SGA in the season so far - 7/21 FG. There wasn't good enough support from the bench either. They were crushed by 27 points...

Thunder have lost 5 of their last 10 games. People hyped them up so much that some were comparing them to the legendary Warriors or Bulls, even calling them the greatest team ever. Honestly, I don't think their championship means much given the circumstances... they play way too aggressive, almost trying to injure opponents without getting called for fouls. Meanwhile, Shai gets a whistle for even the slightest contact.
The refs even managed to push Chris Finch who is usually a very calm guy to his breaking point during the Wolves game a few weeks ago. I think something changed after that game. The refs started calling more fouls against them and since then, OKC has been struggling.

That game between 76ers and Nuggets was insane!    As far as I remember 76ers were given like 1.10 odds for the win. You know why. There was no Jokic, Murray and Gordon. I shouldn't forget to add Valanciunas there as well.

With such a tight rotation and lack of power they still managed to beat their opponent. Embiid and Maxey couldn't prevent the loss. Pickett showed quite an extra effort though. 7 three-pointers by him!

This is all over my news feed. And yes, it is asshame, though not surprising knowing that the Sixers are still struggling since Paul George returned and Joel Embiid is not Allstar caliber anymore. If I am correct, the Sixers actually have better standings when Paul George is not playing.
I also saw the -16.5 line, and that really surprised me. I know Jamal Murray and Jokic are out, but this is still the Denver Nuggets. Remember, some of the championship Nuggets players are still there.

Kevin Durant just hit a three point shot at the buzzer to beat the Phoenix Suns. The Rockets are looking good at times. Who knows, maybe they’ll try to get Trae Young. They need a point guard badly.

Durant's last-second shot was legendary; I love watching buzzer-beaters. I have so much respect for players who, despite their age, can still score baskets at such crucial moments. They really played a great finish to the game. The Houston Rockets are one of the surprise teams of this season; they can do anything. When playoff time comes, they could be eliminated in the first matchup without winning a single game, or they could become conference champions. Anything is possible

Thunder is no longer that dominant if the Hornets are beating them.
That's actually a good show for the Hornets if they'll keep on winning.
There's going to be much love for them if this is going to be the result. I usually automatically bet against Hornets if they're playing if the odds are good.
But this time, I might consider to bet on them instead of being against them at most times.

To be honest, the outcome of this match was difficult to predict. I think few people could have believed that a team as weak as the Hornets could beat the Thunder. It's worth noting that the Hornets are still at the bottom of the standings, but maybe beating such a strong opponent will really give them confidence, and they'll be able to climb higher in the standings. At least they have a chance to reach the play-in spots in the standings, because the competition in the Eastern Conference is not as strong as in the Western Conference.

KD going 2 for 12 from three and hitting the second one at the very last second is just a Houston luck  The whole team played terrible but they still won. Btw i agree about point guard comment...  Sheppard is not a point guard... you can't be turning the ball over that much at the start of the game. If this team had a proper guard, it would be a totally different story.

Now I’m certain OKC isn’t beating the Warriors’ 73–9 record or even tying it. They’re not even halfway through the regular season and already have six losses. From having an 18 point lead to this, awesome performance by Brooks and Booker, especially that clutch game winning shot by Booker. Kudos to Goodwin as well; he was a big help in this win. The Suns seem even better right now compared to when they had KD and Beal. Chemistry really does matter.

Yeah, the last run of ten games proves they won't. They did started the league amazingly, they were like 24-1 or something when they first started, but the last 5-10 games proves that it's very hard to break that record, because it is not about doing it for 20-30 games, it's about doing it for 82 games and that is not easy at all. Warriors and Bulls did something amazing on those seasons, being perfect like that for the whole year is not an easy task. Funny thing is, Warriors didn't even get the title.

Trae Young and his agent have confirmed they are working with the Atlanta Hawks to get him traded to a new team. Apparently he is tired of waiting after seemingly being frustrated the last couple of seasons. No idea who would want him but it will be a big trade.

Could we blame him? I mean Atlanta had many years for Trae to stay and build a team around him, but they did not and never gave him a great team which is causing them to now realize they are going to lose what they have too.

Dallas made the same mistake, and traded Doncic away. At the very least, Hawks should consider getting something good in return, that guy is a great player and losing him will make them tank if they get someone not that good, they need to get someone good or at least some great first round picks for this to make any sense. Not going to be easy of course, but we can definitely see them trade for an all-star, not a great one, but one of those "barely made it last place on bench because someone got injured" type of all-star player.

I kind of miss Trae’s swagger in the playoffs too, but injuries were a big reason why that run didn’t really last.

To me Kevin Durant is absolutely one of the best players in NBA history. When it comes to my opinion on him I think his potential could have been even higher than this. He could have had more impressive statistics.

But he isn't like other special players such as LeBron. He doesn't want to take such a big responsibility. If he did he could have actually had more insane statistics so far. But it is his choice of playing style of course so I respect that.

Yes, that's another funny aspect for the GSW. The OKC is the defending champ, not having the same season records as the GSW or the Bulls when the season ends, doesn't mean they're not capable of winning the finals again, even if the Spurs have beaten them 3 times.
I think they have lost momentum after starting to lose for the sixth time this season, and the 7th one is just so unacceptable, as they got blown out by a team that's way under .400, which also had 21 turnovers.
Let's just see if they can figure out something to get back on the winning track. I understand they're shooting bricks (including FTs) against the Hornets, but they're gonna need adjustments.

The hawks management seems don't care about making the playoffs anyways, they never tried to put another star players during and after the playoffs run with trae, even though they see that the team only needs another player to make it deep in the playoffs even in the finals maybe.
Its a good thing they traded luka, or else luka's career would be much different.
When the hawks are battling with James every year, they never acquire any star player instead they were staying with the same lineup and player, they don't want to spend much for the team success.

We all know that Hornets is a weak team, and some other teams have also beaten the Thunders.
It's true that predicting this type of match is hard to see. But now that we've seen it, some bettors might have some balls for the opponent of Thunders to bet on them.
I still consider the Thunders as a strong team and these things can happen to a great team.
The season is still quite that far and many can still happen before it ends.

Well, I can't blame those people, and I guess I might've had a part of it as well, but if you looked at how they played in their first few games, they're just dominating the league. They currently still have the highest point differential right now with +13.62. That's a bit higher before they lost to the Spurs, Suns, and Hornets. They're dominating the league, and defeating team after team by more than 15+ points, so I can't blame them if they're comparing them to the legendary teams.

I mean that's just how the league is right now. People will hype teams if they wanted to. Right now, it's the Pistons that they're hyping because of how they're playing right now and you know what, you can't blame or criticize them because it's called "freedom of speech". People can hype whoever they want to, and there's nothing wrong with it.

As for the Thunder though, their road to 73-9 is coming to an end since we don't think that they'll win on their remaining games and will only lose 2. That's realistically impossible.

I think I’m going to disagree with what you have said, obviously because there are teams who are also doing very well in the NBA season, I have been watching San Antonio Spurs they seems to be playing well in the Western Conference as well, and I like watching that team play basketball, Victor Wembanyama have been very consistent and strong in this NBA season, I think if he gets to the playoffs Finals and ends up winning the Finals then I must tell you that he gets the MVP award but boy is absolutely good with his basket and defense of the game and dunking, he is a beast and a joy to watch in this basketball season, he is very young and have the future ahead of him.

Well, it will be difficult to predict who will win the upcoming game, since both the Spurs and the Lakers are quite strong teams. Personally, I would prefer to bet on the Lakers because Luka and LeBron have been playing very well lately. It's also worth noting that the Spurs and Lakers have already met twice this regular season and are tied so far.
