Doncic realized recently that he is the star of the team, while I know that he is, and we all know, he didn't have that courage because he was playing with Lebron James and that dude has been in the league since 2003 draft, so we need to give him some break that it was a hard thing to just go "fuck the king, I am the king now" and take over.

Lebron played with 19 points and 9 rebounds and 8 assists, not a bad statsline at all, but he didn't try to score and he played the role he was given, which is great for him, maybe he no longer is an all-star starter, which may hurt his ego, but that dude is still doing what needs to be done. And Doncic took over and played like a king finally and that got them the win they finally needed.

Hurt his ego? I don’t think so. He has already accomplished a lot and has been an All Star starter for 21 consecutive years. I doubt he still cares whether he is a starter or not. He’s been an All Star starter for too long. It won't hurt his ego just like that. Just like when his double digit scoring streak ended, when he was asked about it, he said, “None, we won.” Just like now, they already have Doncic, and he’s fine with not being the main scorer anymore as long as they win. I believe LeBron is tarnishing his career by staying in the league too long. After 21 straight years as an all star starter, mostly as the top vote getter, he’s finally lost his starting spot. At this point, it’s even quite likely he’ll miss out on the reserve selections entirely.

Man thats what happens when team chemistry is completely missing. This current Brooklyn Nets roster looks like group of players who barely know each other and like don't how to play together. On top of that, many shot attempts were hesitant so poor execution was expected.
Is this one of lowest scoring games by a team in NBA history? First time I’ve ever seen team finish with only 66 points in full game. If surrender existed in NBA, Nets would have tapped out already. lol

I wouldn't mind, a team being that dominant isn't something you see that often, obviously a game that goes to 3 overtimes type of thriller would be more fun, but instead of watching a game where one of the teams wins by 10-15 points, I rather watch a game with a team winning by 50+ points.

There has been less than a dozen games where a team beats the other with 50+ points margin, so you are seeing one of the most rarest things in the NBA, rarer than even 3 overtimes. Hence it would be fine to watch that actually.

Warriors will benefit from that trade for sure since they’re barely using Kuminga, and with Butler injured they really need someone experienced enough to help Curry. I think DeRozan can still deliver, he’s still a star player in my view, it’s just that he ended up on a bad team.

With the Warriors, I feel like he can become another clutch option, which would definitely take some pressure off Curry. I’m actually excited about this if it happens. Kings look pretty much done in this season, but the Warriors still have a chance as long as they land DeRozan.

Lebron is near to retirement but even so with his age, I guess his investment with his health is paying him off his career. And speaking of him, there were news[1] about the Lakers owners Jeanie Buss that he's about to get kicked and made issues between the both of them about contract matters. I am not sure where it all started but it seems that the sports media have been making all of these articles about it.

With Butler's absence, Derozan is for sure going to be a better option than Kuminga for the Warriors. I mean, Derozan plays way better than Kuminga. He's one of the mid-range assassins in the NBA, and that will help the Warriors' offense to spread the opponent's defense, making them a lot more unpredictable because they can score anywhere.
They'd better make a bold move before the trade deadline, otherwise they will be going to struggle entering the playoffs. Being in the play-in tournament is not a good start in the postseason, it'll add extra work.

He is an Allstar this season, only he's not amongst the first five this time. And, no, he is still among the best in the league today, considering his age, athleticism, efficiency, and impact when he's playing on the floor. What we all know is that he's gradually slowing down. His drive to the basket has significantly slowed down, as well as his speed.

As much as I think this would be bad for the NBA, I am now saying a prayer that it happens. It won’t because Giannis will be traded soon, but if it did that would be awesome to watch.

It could be possible, but I really hate the idea of this happening. The Warriors built a good reputation by forming a championship team before without being stacked with superstars, so I’d rather see Curry finish his career with that kind of legacy, not by pairing up with more stars just to win another title.

We already saw something similar with LeBron when he struggled with the Cavaliers and left for Miami to team up with Wade and Bosh, and a lot of fans hated that move. Ayton for Davis would be hilarious. This would mean the Mavs traded Luka for Ayton in the end, makes the worst trade in history even worse, it just doesn't end. Well, it's a good time to talk about trades on the networks since the trade deadline is approaching quick, less that 2 weeks left actually. Other than possible trades there is not much happening in the league right now anyway.

The Warriors now lost 2 of their strong players, with Butler unavailable for the rest of the season. I think this is it for the Warriors. It will be a damn miracle if they win in the playoffs, if ever they can enter it. They are in the 8th spot, a very bad position. Expect losses to pile up, and Coach Kerr will probably go back to small-ball plays and do everything fast.

Who will be the one to step up for the team? It cannot always be Draymond and Curry on offense. In defense, they have a very small lineup of forwards. Suddenly, it will be a tough year for them.

Brooklyn Nets actually had one of the wildest 50-60 point gap losses last year too, Clippers I think won that game, don't remember exactly who they were playing, but they did and they lost. So Nets is getting used to losing by that much and not a shocker. However, I have to remind people that OKC lost a game by 70+ points in 2021, and last year they were the title winners, just because a team is bad now doesn't mean they are on the wrong road.

Maybe Nets is trying to gather as much as they can, before they try their luck and wouldn't be impossible to see. I think we can safely assume that it is going to be a bad season for them, but in 3-5 years Nets could be a team that fights hard for a title, wouldn't be the first time.

 Philadelphia-Houston game was very close. The game ended 115-115 in regulation. In overtime, Philadelphia scored 6 more points to win the game 128-122. Embiid recorded a triple-double for Philadelphia, delivering an impressive performance with 32 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists, playing a major role in the victory.

Alperen's scoring contribution was less than expected in this game, finishing with 13 points. I believe Houston would have won if Alperen had been a little more effective.

To be honest, I don't see anyone stepping from the Warriors, it seems that what's left is all supporting players. Maybe Buddy Hield, as when we was traded to the Warriors, he was touted to be the next Splash Brothers and I remember that he started hot last year averaging 20+ before he went down.

And with Butler now out for the season, and then Kuminga possible to be traded, but obviously his stocks goes down because of this injury. So I doubt that the Warriors will go to the playoff this year with their current line up.

In the last two games, Rockets go on a great run with Reed in the final minutes when Alperen is out. But as soon as Udoka puts Alperen back in the opponent catches up. I'm not saying Rockets is better without Alperen of course. Alperen is a great player but sometimes you just catch the opponent off guard with a different style. But Udoka just has to mess with things even when they're working fine. if things go well you don't have to force Alperen back in.

That’s hard to say. In 3–5 years, the strong teams right now will likely still be around and might still dominate. Unless they can get an SGA, Luka, Jokic, or Curry, etc. level player and pair him with someone of almost the same caliber, maybe they could pull it off. But what are the chances of getting that kind of talent in 3–5 years? That’s actually low. Without a true superstar level player, they won’t go deep in the playoffs. They had KD, Kyrie, and Harden before and still didn’t make it. I’m not hating on them, but I don’t see them forming a team like that again unless they really go all in on stacking their lineup.
