Pistons - Rockets and Bucks - Nuggets are the most attracing ones for me.

Pistons are favoured on the first one. They have been in a good run though with a 4W streak. Cade is said to be ill. If he recovers then I also think they can be the winner at home.

Bucks is the favourite side in the other one. As Jokic is still out it's totally normal. I also think Bucks will win the game.

Pistons is doing good. There's not much to say about the team in first place. But considering the state of the East this year, if they add one star scorer, winning the East is not far away. No way the Knicks or Celtics offense can handle Piston's defense. Taking a star scorer without giving up too much is key.

Sure, Clippers are looking good right now, but it doesn't matter even if they were first seed, the question will remain about Kawhi staying healthy. Could we see him stay healthy or not? If we could then of course things will change, but if we can't and he gets injured again, then Clippers will go back to being bad.

Nah, I actually see a healthy Kawhi Leonard right now, or at least he looks like he’s fully back. The team is clearly leaning on him again, he’s putting up his usual numbers, and if I remember correctly there were stretches last month during win streaks where he was averaging 30+ points. So as long as he’s on the floor, I think it’s fair to assume he’s healthy. The LA Clippers might not look like a top team on paper, but once they get into the playoffs, that’s usually a different story.

It's obvious that he is injury prone player, but when he is healthy just like right now, he is hard to stop and again, he could be like the old version of himself with the Raptors. He moves very different, high percentage mid shot, and can lock down any player.

So let's just assume that he will be healthy throughout this season and nothing bad will happen to him so that he can bring the Clippers to the playoffs.

its about time, they could have stick with the rooster with fox and Sabonis, they are in a hurry to be a contender the last time and when they did not make it, they traded their star players, if they have acquired WB early maybe they can push a bit more in the playoffs but maybe the team have different plans but they should rebuild since they must have lots of resources to build the team, for sure they have draft picks, but right now getting rid of the team and getting a star is not a good idea maybe they should tank?

Interesting, I’m actually wondering why Westbrook isn’t included in the trade talks right now. Is he suddenly becoming the new face of the Sacramento Kings, or is it just that the players being mentioned aren’t meeting expectations while Westbrook has been performing better than expected?

Looking at the names involved, I really hope the rumors about DeMar DeRozan landing with the Golden State Warriors turn out to be true. The Warriors badly need someone like him as a backup option for Stephen Curry, because if they don’t make a move like that, this slide is probably going to continue.

Alperen’s basketball iq is off the charts and his post moves are elite. he’s definitely All Star material. But he’s gotta start adding more to his game. If he doesn’t fix his weaknesses, he’ll never stay the number one guy on a team. One day it’s Durant carrying the load, tomorrow it’ll be someone else.

Basketball is a team sports, it’s normal that different player will lead the team because it shows that everyone is contributing and can cover in case a player is underperforming which is normal on NBA.

Alperen is still not that outstanding if you will compared him to Jokic IQ which is the real player with off the chart IQ. He is just dominant now with his great post skills.

I really support Alperen and I praised him a lot before. But his turnovers and constant complaining are ruining the game for me. When he is not on the court, Houston plays much faster and scores easier. I don't think his performance is good enough right now.

If, aside from Siakam, they were more consistent on offense, they wouldn’t have fallen this much even without Hali. Just like Boston, even without Tatum and Horford, they are still doing fine.

If i were OKC I wont even chase the record before, because if they were to do it, they might fall short in the end game, because as we all know getting injured during the playoffs or before the playoffs might cause the team and their bid for the championship, and they can't afford that since they are just becoming or just creating a dynasty, most of the teams like spurs before don't push too hard in the regular season they just they in the striking distance even the lakers, then when playoffs comes they just step on the gas and dismantle every team in the playoffs.

It’s a close game though.

There’s always an upset on NBA or in all sports in general since they are professional players. OKC players are not performing well while only SGA and Chet doing the offense that result to low gas on last minute when they needed the most on crucial time.

Pacers is still a decent team even without Hali since they still retain most of their core players including Nembhard, Siakam and Nesmith.

They also have good experience on beating OKC so this is not surprising result.

Indiana pulled off a huge surprise. It's like they got their revenge for last year. For some reason, the scores of these kinds of games always seem suspicious to me. Given Indiana's poor performance this season, is it normal for them to beat Oklahoma on the road? I don't think so!!! Yes, they won by a very small margin, but still, it's not normal.

The Toronto Raptors are getting scarier.

It's now their 3rd winning streak, and they are in 3rd spot in the East. I don't really bet on the Raptors, but I am now considering it. The Barnes-Ingram duo is building chemistry while Quickley and Mamukelashvili are showing great support for the team.
I will not be surprised if they take the 2nd spot and then soon the top rank. The Pistons are at 7 wins on their last 10 games, while the Raptors have 6 of 10. It's not that far with just 4 wins difference. Most teams should really be careful when they play against the Raptors.

His impact whenever he's healthy really gave his team a better chance of winning but similar to what you observe his health is unpredictable, so far he and Harden really helping one another to win games, they have a good core and they are playing with good chemistries, if they can continue doing that same blend it's not the offense but together with defense the compositions of players who are playing alongside each other are competitive enough to win a game.

I can handle the turnovers, when you are playing a big that way, like a centre or power forward generally that type of big, and he handles and passes and basically playmakes, then turnovers could be definitely understandable. The person who has the most ball handling period ,will be the one with a lot of turnovers. I remember Westbrook once made a quadruple double with points, rebounds, assists and turnovers .

However, I agree on the complaining, dude as to lower it down, sure I have seen the play where he was hit in the hand and they still didn't give a foul, but you know why? Because when he yelled and complained, it was "just another alperen moment" for the referees, since he screams every single time, they thought it was another one.

They indeed improves a lot but I’m not putting high hopes on their especially on the playoffs run. They are lacking with players that have good playoffs experience and can do a lot of hustle plays.

Ingram is not consistent when playoffs that’s the team he is playing with always collapse.

I agree with that. If you play them against the Pistons, they might not even push it to a Game 7. Even the Celtics, who are playing without Tatum, are still showing solid basketball and holding an impressive record. Because of that, I honestly doubt Toronto will even make it past the first round if they do reach the playoffs.

Their golden year was really when Kawhi Leonard was there and brought them their first championship.
After that, it feels like it’s just been back to the old version again.

Honestly, Jimmy Butler getting an ACL tear at 37 is a total career changer. Sure medicine is great these days and players do come back but Butler’s whole game is built on physical contact stopping on a dime and just grinding it out. That makes his comeback way more risky. As for the Golden State Warriors, the timing is just too bad. The team was finally finding its rhythm and everyone knew their roles so this injury just throws everything out the window...
