It’s definitely not a problem at all. With Giannis Antetokounmpo on the floor, they don’t even look like a small-ball team anymore, since he can easily play center when needed. They won’t get attacked in the paint that easily, and at the same time they’ll still have enough threats from both inside and outside.

That also helps lessen the burden on Stephen Curry, because Giannis usually draws double teams. When that happens, it opens up more space and cleaner looks for Curry, which makes the offense even more dangerous.

Good points, because if that will be the case, there would be a shift in who will be a threat in the west, as long as they would be healthy and all the supporting cast will produce and help both offense and defense, because the last time, Kerr want everyone to push the ball, now that Giannis if ever he sign with GSW, that will definitely a outside and inside threat and so deadly because Giannis can also run the floor, seems like if happen, OKC , Nuggets will have a roadblock along the way.

I think if the Warriors get Giannis we will see them struggle this year.  Next year however, Draymond Green will rejoin the team, and I'm sure plenty of other free agents will jump at the chance as well.  I think Steph and Giannis could be one of the best 1, 2 punches the NBA has ever seen, even if they are both passed their prime.  Can they win a championship together?  That remains to be seen, but the Warriors are better with Giannis than without him and with Draymond aging into worthlessness while Jimmy is injured, they need to do something or else the best shooter in NBA history will lose the end of his career to irrelevance.

I won't completely call this a fall off, maybe for AD it could be considered so playing Lakers as of last season, but this trade does put the Wizards in a good position to compete come next season, they currently have a second overall pick in Alex Sarr and Trae Young, those two alongside Anthony Davis while still have good role players like Bilal Coulibaly, I think this could be a good next phase for the Wizards... the BIG IF is provided, they are able to keep Anthony Davis healthy.

That’s really the risk, no matter which team he goes to, the injury-prone label will probably stay with him. At least with the Washington Wizards, the expectations are lower since they’ve been tanking for a while now, so there’s not much pressure on him.

But if you look at it on paper, they can actually compete. Having Trae Young and Anthony Davis together is a solid combo, and if they stay healthy, that team could surprise a lot of people.

Maybe Anthony Davis wasn't their guy but at some point if they want start competing they'll still have to give up something and if you look at their current roster they still have at least 3 first round picks from the last 2 seasons that are still developing so If AD is to end on the trading block again, I believe it might still be for a move in the right direction for them, at least with Trae and AD, it could be easier to lure some vets over along the way.

For the Mavs, they'll indeed never forget Nico for as long as Doncic is still playing, the only good thing that might have come out of this for them is the financial burden left off and the numerous draft picks now at their disposal, but the question of the fans would be when next will they be a team that's going to be in the NBA Finals, even with Flagg carrying the banner ??

IF! AD improves his condition and be at least more durable for the remainder of his career (which is very much unlikely), that's the only time I can say the Wizards won the trade. They are actually scary on paper, because they basically have big 3 in Trae, AD, and Sarr. These 3 are pretty scary IF all are healthy and in their full potential.

On the other hand, yeah, the Dallas Mavericks are basically traded Luka for Middleton, lol. However, they are actually rebuilding in the next 2-4 years around Coop. Just on this trade they have saved a pretty decent amount on Khris' and AD's contract for next season.
So, Mavs fans should expect to have a quite season in the next 2-4 years, because the Western conference are crazy stacked. Could be longer if they mess up with picking the right draft/pieces for the team.

If he can play healthy then it was a good deal for wizard but if he continues to be an injury prone star then there's nothing that wizard can expect from him, might also possible that he can buyout his contract and be a free agent then sign to the team that have that available space or a team who's willing to take that gamble for him, we will see what's going to happen after this trade.

For real, that was one of the dumbest trades in NBA history. Now they’re trading Davis again. Anyway, I’m still waiting for updates on the Giannis trade. From what I’ve read, Green, Podz, and Kuminga are on the line, plus four future first-round picks. But Miami’s offer is also good. I just hope he lands on the Warriors. That could completely change the course of the Warriors, like a full 180 degree turn. A Giannis and Curry combo would be deadly. The Warriors’ offense could dominate both from the outside and inside the paint.

Why does this trade seems so awkward to everyone, Anthony Davis isn’t so a bad player after all, but we know players have different attributes, and this particular player isn’t getting any younger instead he is getting older and possibly his decline is inevitable, they’re not playing so well so there is every possibility they will not make it in the playoffs, well nobody really knows what is going to happen next season but I think the most important thing is for them to try and stay healthy, But We’re writing this trade with Anthony Davis off too soon it might just be something spectacular for them something that makes a huge difference for them next season.

Nah AD will always be AD. Next time he is ok to play he will pick up something else real quick, the writing is on the wall. He will always have injuries, not the big ones like ACL, achilles tendon and so on, but always the strange one in his crotch  , something on his hand/finger/ his eyes and what not. Such a strong body but in the end so weak.

The Wizards have build a good starting 5, with Young, Tre Johnson, Davis, Sarr, and a potential top pick in the next draft which could be either Dybansta, or Boozer or Peterson. TBH, this could compete in the East IF...

I put the IF there because we know how fragile AD's body is, and Young is also injury-prone already, and he played a few games this season as well. If all are healthy, I believe they can be a better team, but still not enough to be a playoff contender like how the Spurs and the Thunder is where they came from a bottom team to now competing for the title. Now if both or even one of their all-star players are injured, that decreases their chances of competing for playoffs.

I want to say that the Wizards won this trade TBH, but the Mavericks really did better on this trade. Yes, they got bad players, but all of them are either draft picks, salary fillers and expiring contracts especially Khris Middleton. Because of this trade, the Mavericks now are more flexible therefore, they can sign more players that could fit around Cooper Flagg. With this trade, they really can sign and acquire players. Well I guess I'll say that both teams won in different ways.

Yeah, remains to be seen, both playing healthy and clicking. But at least AD has won a ring with the Lakers and if I'm not mistaken, during that bubble, it was a healthy version of AD (although others dismissed that bubble championship).

He could be just another what if in the NBA, what if he is healthy and not as fragile, maybe him and Lebron could get another ring. And it just magnified again how the decision of the Mavs to trade Luka, it really destroys the franchise. To the point that they have traded Luka for Khris Middleton, Lol.

Trading Harden when everything was going well wasn't a logical move at all.
After he left, the Clippers started losing.
Kawhi and Harden were carrying the scoring load for the team.

In the game currently being played, the Clippers are heavily losing at home against Cleveland.
Harden is not on the court for Cleveland due to injury, but he will contribute well to Cleveland's scoring in the upcoming games.

I used to say the Clippers would play in the Play-in, even the playoffs, but I don't think that will happen anymore. The regular season will end for the Clippers.
