So it looks like the only big move the Lakers made was picking up Luke Kennard. Not a horrible pickup, but not the move that is going to take them to the Finals…

Warriors and Suns tonight on Amazon Prime. Not sure I can stand to watch Dillon Brooks, but the Warriors like to make him look bad so maybe it’ll be worth the watch.

And that's what the Warriors did, they play good defense on him and make him uncomfortable. And the sequence in the last seconds was really entertaining but in the end it was the Warriors who win with a good comeback because of their defense.

For Ja Morant, no teams is interested with his talents, as there are no offer for him. Another great trade in my opinion is Jose Alvarado going to the Knicks, he could be a good addiction to the back court for the Knicks specially if Jalen Brunson is sitting to take a breather.

There's no guarantee that the better team will win the All-Star game; the format changes have made watching it like a regular game meaningless. Things change every year, and has anyone enjoyed watching the All-Star game in the last 5-6 years?

I would love to see alley-oops, dunks, and real competition like in the 2000s. In the last 10 years, every player just comes to the game, shoots a three-pointer, and leaves. There's no defense, no competition, no All-Star spirit.

They've tried many different formats for the All-Star Game, but I think the format in last 2 years is the worst. The games are too short. There shouldn't be games ending at 25 and 40 points. Most players don't get enough playing time. Plus, G League players who shouldn't even be in the All-Star Game end up playing more. Back in the day, a player would get at least 10 minutes of playing time. If a coach gave players less than that, they would be criticized. People vote to watch their favorite players. The games were 48 minutes long, played like a regular game and we enjoyed it. First the defenses disappeared and now the game length is gone. NBA needs to go back to the old All-Star format.

It’s not that no one is interested, it’s just that his value has fallen. Injuries and past controversies have lowered his value, and no team wants to pay that much for him anymore. Of course, who would want to pay that much for an injured player who’s also considered somewhat problematic? Look at Giannis, he has a higher salary, but different teams still show interest and are willing to offer multiple players along with future first round picks because they know he’s worth what they’re paying.

The Wizards saying they are going to shut down Anthony Davis for the remainder of the season seems strange to me. He is probably going to try and play for a different team next year, so why not use him now? Are they hoping they’ll get him to want to stay? Why not buy him out and save some money? Seems odd.

Detroit shows who is the top seed in the East with that big win against their rival Knicks. Even if the Knicks are coming from a 8 game winning streak, Pistons just out smart them but playing good defense and not allowing Jalen Brunson to have this typical scoring in the first half.

And when the time that Brunson scored, it was too late in the 3rd quarter and there was not coming back from the deficit. So they snapped the Knicks winning streak while solidifying their number one spot in the East.

We will only know if Zubac is a perfect fit for them after several games. We all know that they went to the finals last year because they have a solid center in Turner. But Turner was moved to the Bucks. So probably that's why they shop for a big man in Zubac to make that formula works again. Still they are in good position on standings and they still have lots of time to adjust. What they need is to have good chemistry and try execute well the play set by their coach. This is also the reason why I think they didn't made a move on trade deadline, since maybe their management want their players to be comfortable or adjust on their roles.

Tonight there is Thunder v Rockets... Thunder @1.71 and Rockets @2.10. SGA is injured and I've seen his estimated return like Feb 20. I think Rockets can be given a chance in the circumstances. The odds look great!

I agree on Udoka. I still don't think he is the right coach for Rockets. He just doesn't like to change things ever. He insists on applying the same damn game plan over and over again.

i can agree that Udoka took this team from zero to a good playoff contender in the West but now he is the biggest problem holding them back. Houston has huge potential and could even be an NBA champion but he isn't the guy for that. Thanks for everything he did but it’s time to say goodbye if houston want to reach the next level...

More on how the management will the future of the team, if the coach system is no longer working aside from changing they can adjust and work together they've got a good start and like the post above you they still have the chance to move forward, those losing streaks needs to review if what's causing it and need to reassess if how they can change and adjust the system that they currently using for the betterment and good outcome of their game.

The pistons are playing like the old pistons time with rip Chauncey Wallace's, they are playing as team everyone has a share of the score that is why they are so dangerous because everyone can contribute, or can explode anytime, unlike other teams when their star player don't click, they were lost inside the court and don't know what they are doing, that makes pistons different from the other teams in the league like nuggets, Oklahoma, but they will be tested in the east playoffs.

The win streak should probably continue if the starters did play this one, it should have been a close game and get fun to watch. I think it comes a surprise that Simons did come as starter for his debut but I think he'll be benched out if White and Giddey plays again, but he's also a good addition now that these two are injured.

Udoka was from the Spurs educational system He worked for Pop and he did even managed some games while he was there and Pop was out, so Ime really learned as much as he can from Spurs but todays world isn't supporting the way Spurs played in those days. Reality is that Spurs played a basketball that shared the ball a lot, and yet made very few mistakes, that's how they won.

Looking at Rockets, neither their defense nor their offense is that fluid and this causes them to have problems. If Ime insists on forcing something to happen where there is none, then all he will get is players who make mistakes and right now players do not even fit each other perfectly well, their talents are different and overlapping causing problems.

It’s an easy win for Lakers regardless if Luka is out since AR15 and Lebron is still active plus Ayton as good center which Warriors doesn’t have right now even their forward or Curry on the roster.

I don’t expect to see this game close unless they choke hard on this match since they literally just playing against Warriors bench with Draymond Green.
