I have bought my first bitcoin because I wanted try an investment in an online program. However it seems my mistake to go and invest there, and after that I'm just earning from other methods and holding it.
Its better to hold your bitcoins instead of investing it anywhere online as end result would not be in your favor as there is a full chance that those sites would be scam, better choice is to buy and save for the future. The number of bitcoins you are holding matters, if you are not holding a bigger number then you should try to grow it in a short period of time, there are more opportunity also for short term investment so you have a chance to grow it but you need to have a careful research with your method to make it successful. I can get his point that he just want to hold his bitcoins instead of putting it into investment. He just wanted to be on safe haven. Even I, that is what I am doing now. I am holding some of the portion of my bitcoins and still thinking if I am going to invest it. But as of now, I can't even think of something where to invest but I am thinking to add some bitcoins and buy some of it if I have spare money. If you are planning to invest your bitcoins then I think you should invest in trading and especially in alt coins as that is the place where you can make good money if you have knowledge of it. |

I am not buying bitcoins right now because the price of the coin is to high as you all know so we need to make sure that we are getting more attention to people to trade to make the price higher or just wait till the price drops and buy them.

If you are willing to invest do not look at the price right now and you need to believed that if you invest right now you will gain profit on your investment, but you have a big risk in this amount and that is correct that you will get profit if you have a big capital of investment.
If people were afraid to invest then better be safe than sorry. But in life if you always do choose to be safe then i think you would never experience the things that is best in life. Same logic would goes in investing. Yeah if you are not going to choose to take the risk then you are not going to grow especially in this kind of industry. Investing with bitcoins is going to be one of the good industry that are now rising. So, it is better if you are going to buy today and you are going to wait for the price increase that is going to come for months. There is a better chance that it might rise than going down. A large possibility that you will profit if you buy now. Same with what they are thinking when it is still at a $200 price. But still you can benefit more if you do rotates your bitcoin rather than waiting for something that is really not sure if it would happen or not. If you doubled your bitcoin before that price raise you are saying then you can earn more. Yes, price fluctuations are not in our hands so the best thing is we should make proper plan in order to increase the Bitcoins. Keeping some stock in wallet is good so that we can earn profit by trading but earning bitcoins by totally depending upon trading is risky because prices may be down anytime so there is other good way also in order to boost earnings. |

Yes even for me the current price is higher, so I am not buying at a moment and waiting for price to drop so that I can buy some more coins, and if price goes higher in coming days then I will prefer to sell some coins. |

good idea bitcoin is really going to rise up it price and we should buy bitcoin now because the recent is low and i am sure bitcoin will be increase its price sooner in the near future. Price has crossed $600 barrier now and again it has started to rise now, so if you believe that price will go higher in future then this is the best time to buy bitcoins. it made a jump today, so wasn't yesterday the best time to buy bitcoins? or just wait for the rebound and buy then. Your head will just burst if you keep thinking that way. There will always be lower price and higher price. If you believe that bitcoin has a good future, NOW is the right time to buy bitcoin (price does not matter) because in the future it will be way higher. But if you do not have faith in it, there will always be regret that you did not bought at a lower price. |

Next to earning them I buy some bitcoins, my reasons for buying are because I don't earn enough of them and I'm not satisfied with that amount. I want to have a good amount in the wallet just incase they skyrocket.

Most times I'm buying btcs for investing in different types of investments and also for trading. I'm also not investing all the btcs into investments and trading, just half of the coins at the time.

I don't know but it should more increasing around $650-700, hopefully. |

Waiting for increase. Yeah I think so, it's a good time to buy some amount of bitcoin because for the next days or weeks whether we go to the moon or we crash hard, bitcoin price will always get recover to the high price as before. so, we're happy with bitcoins that we have, just waiting time for the next years coming. |

Its a kind of business.
Rate doesn't matter but market conditions are very important while making deals.
I buy bitcoin to use as digital virtual currency.
As well Bitcoin is Prime currency among crypto market.
All other coins listed on exchanger can be evaluated in BTC. There are also Doge and LTC market too. But finally Doge or LTC also evaluated in BTC.

Well buying bitcoins is of course treated like a business. Just wait for market fluctuations, then buy low, and cash out high. It usually works for people who buy and sell bitcoins. Easy $30-50 profit each time. Like last week, price was $570. If you bought then, the current price you have now is around $600. Sell it at the 600 price then wait for the market to fluctuate again.

It is not important that you buy everytime using money from your pocket for earning profits but you can do trading with the bitcoins you have bought once. You can trade bitcoins or altcoins with that amount, for trading bitcoin just buy bitcoins when its price is low and sell them when it is high and keep the money in exchange and when the price drops again you should buy again and keep doing the same thing everytime. For trading altcoins you should buy the coins you know have potential to grow when they are low and sell them back when their price grows a bit. |

Yep you only get a couple of dollar if you don't know how to wait and you don't have a decent amount of money to invest in bitcoins. There has been like 40$ upward movement from where we were three days ago. From 560$, we're now at 600$+. If you only have money enough to buy 1BTC, then you just earned 40$. But if you had money to buy 10BTC, then from that small movement, you just earned 400$. If you have 1BTC today, and you wait for a couple of months, then you'll be very thankful that you left that 1BTC untouched. The only people who are complaining about the "small" profit in trading are only the ones who are too excited to get profit that they get bored after just waiting for days/weeks. |

Usually though, people who complain about small profits dont usually hold long positions, or are day traders. Meaning, they buy a coin, wait for price movement within same day then sell it. Usually coins dont move that much, hence the small profit. If you can long hold a coin, chances are you'd get big profit. Look at people who bought BTC years ago, back when it was around $19-$20 a coin. If they let that go when it went up by $5, theyd have a small profit, compared to people still holding coins till now. In short, small risk, small reward..Big risk, big reward. |

Im old enough here from bitcoin and i want to learn more again since i remembered my password i created this account last october 2014 and the main reason for buying bitcoin is to use as currency to invest online or to trade online because i risk my money with bitcoin hoping that i could grow or earn profit. |
