ASSET ISSUERS

If you need internal transfer functionality in order to be able to shutdown and/or transition elsewhere, you can now enable transfers on your assets by doing the following:

- Log into your asset issuer account.
- Go to the details tab on your asset.
- Turn on the issuer lock.
- Once the issuer lock is on, a new option to allow transfers TO and FROM only your issuer account will appear.  Toggle it and submit.

That should allow users to send you back your assets and allow you to send assets to the users.  It will not allow users to trade assets amongst themselves.

Also, while I have your attention, please keep in mind that users will be able to update their shared addresses up until the close of the site.  I will make sure that a final copy gets sent out after the close, but it is important that you are aware that additional data will be trickling in over time.  After the site closure I would recommend emailing any users that have not posted their address directly to request an address if you need it.

Cheers.

We explained our plan in the ASICMINER-PT thread.  I expect to be compiling a CSV of transfers for Friedcat tonight or tomorrow.

Hope that helps.  Smiley

Thanks, so did today's dividend still get paid on BTC-T?  If not, could you please just pay to the bitcoin addresses and all future dividends?  Pain to keep having to log in to withdraw :p.  Thanks for everything though, hope the shutdown is going smoothly.

Yes, it has been paid on BTC-TC.  Though I still have some to go through and credit manually.  After Friedcat gets the list and processes the transfers all payments will be direct.

Cheers.

I don't know if it have been asked, but I can't find it anywhere - what about funds we have at exchange at the moment of closure? Maybe, if someone forgets and so on. Will it be sent to the address specified in account?

Useful - but unfortunately BTC transfers appear to be disabled meaning I can't buy back shares easily (would have to send BTC to an off-site wallet of theirs with the attendant problem of them proving ownership of the transfer - which is linked to a user-name not a wallet address or an email address).

Difficult, but not impossible. Since you have share counts, you can verify that a transfer was from a particular email and bitcoin address.

And what about TAT.VIRTUALMINE shares - are you planning to transfer them to havelock too?

TAT.ASICMINER BTCT.co UPDATE

Due to technical issues, we unfortunately cannot facilitate migrations of TAT.ASICMINER shares to Bitfunder. BTCT.co shareholders MUST use an account at HavelockInvestments.com

If you haven't already, please RESUBMIT your transfer request and include your HAVELOCK account email address.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is due to a technical limitation with Bitfunder's ability to import users. You MUST choose Havelock.

Also, please note that all of these migration issues and exchange changes may cause a delay in the issuance of dividends.

Consider supporting our effort to enable entrepreneurs to release their own cryptography shares in new ventures which may be traded p2p!

So when exchanges get taken down you can offline your shares!

The project URL is here, would love to get your vote or ideas!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=292384.20

We have a couple developers who are on the effort, right now we are evaluating and researching what are the best options to do this expeditiously.

We'll eventually be giving out shares in the proof of concept system (open source), so sign up to get some shares as we will need user feedback and use it as a way to fund further development.  See my signature for that.

It's fairly easy to generate a vanity address with such a short fixed part. There are people on this forum that will generate those lengths for free, or you can generate it in a few minutes (at most) on your computer.
