Hi, have a question/problem with my S5 everytime I try to point it a zpool.ca on the status page I see it as connected to the pool but gh/s is falling to 0gh/s, when I point it to any other pool he's hasing no problem, am I the only one with this problem.

My S1, S3 are all fine, just my S5 that has this problem and only on this pool weird......

Even tried to run a proxy at home and pointed my S5 to my proxy same result 0gh/s when on zpool

Today I just try to point my S5 to http://hashpower.co/ which seems to use the same scrypt/program whaterver it's called as a test and it's seemed to be working fine for a couple of minutes but then the same problem happened hashing rate dropping to 0gh/ with full of discarded packet with no more accepted packet

Any one here with S5 having them working on this pool.  I have 4 of them and they all doing the same thing Sad

Have you tried manually setting your diff? Some user's are using S7's so I would expect S5's to work....

Tried d=256, d=512, d=1024, d=2048, d=3456 with no chances.....

even tried to update one of my S5 with the nicehash firmware no success

I still don't have anything.  Could you put an example
URL
Worker
Password

stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:3333
1PHSDYvVp6HpqtuUPocK41DrdeHbbezaeP
c=BTC,sha256

Use those settings, should work fine for 99% of the people out there;  if they want to add to my account Wink  And assuming you are mining SHA256.  You left a lot of question marks with your post.

Sorry I think I have it now. I was just trying to get it set up right off my antminer dashboard. It asks for the pool URL, which you gave me, worker which is my address, then password. I'd like to mine the sha256 multipool. Does that change anything? Thanks!

Yes, the port and password string I provided will mine all of the SHA256 altcoins that are running.

Just plug those fields along with your BTC address in place of mine and it should go up and running.

TIP:  Set a failover pool separate from zpool.   I noticed antminers that dont find a connection when the primary fails;  tend to have strange errors with the hashboards disconnecting and the miner going offline,  needing a hard reboot to get up and running again.   It doesnt happen with every disconnect from stratum, but it stopped altogether for me when I added a failover to nicehash.   The antminer looses the primary pool;  and if it doesnt come back up in enough time it will spend 5-10 min at nicehash then switch back.  This has taken the pools downtimes and slashed them to a minimum, as well as made it so I am not constantly reboting antminers that have the hasning lights no longer lit (not green or red).  This is specifically on my S3; and my S7 would have a solid red light but never reconnect.     Adding the secondary pool cured this issue and solved my downtime issues.

Hope it helps.

why you waste GPU power on Decred, hashrate is 4 x sha256(bitcoin) for AMD, earning you get is double than mining bitcoin?! check blakecoin thread, only useful devices are some FPGA.

How can we cash out of the pool?  I don't see an option to cash out the balance we have built up.  After trying this and comparing to what I was earning on a single coin pool there really isn't much difference in my earnings so I would like to just cash out and go back to the single coin pool I was using.  Can you help me cash out my balance?  Thanks.

Thanks, Here is what I found on the main page:

Payouts are made automatically every 3 hours for all balances above 0.0025 and balances less than 0.0001 are paid on Sunday.

So I will just watch for the balance to be sent on Sunday.  I may try this pool again later.  I like the concept.

Any updates on the share distribution issue? It seems this pool is getting fairly popular, and crackfoo seems really active in running the pool, but the thought of paying potentially a 20-25% fee to mine here is more than a little off-putting...

FWIW
Depending on pool hashrate and daily profitability;  this pool has pretty much been earning what I have expected and more....

What's up on Unitus coins?

discussed a few pages back.

It's merge mines with other algos, and diff is a lot lower; so it's just basically not wasting a valid hash.

Crackfoo said if it ends up on an exchange again we could end up getting a claim...

It's back on an exchanges. Cryptopia for now. Not my fav exchange but something anyway. And looks like they had some problems causing ridiculous values to get injected into the pool.

Some extra payments have gone out as a result of rectifying the problem.

Pretty sure citronick was referring to a bug which popped up with the pool for a while and has now been cleanly swept away. It looked like the pool for some reason was evaluating Unitus as having an absurdly high exchange rate. Personally, I noticed that the pool was showing a ~0.5 BTC balance on my address and the coin details said that I had something like 1.2 BTC in Unitus pending, which obviously was impossible. Whatever the issue was, it looks like it's been cleared up now.

thanks guys for the report on the Unitus issue - yes, i had a 6 BTC balance showing up in my account and thought zpool had a killing in the exchange  Grin -- clearly some of these coins are misbehaving.

Btw, crackfoo - how are we doing on DCRs? I have a new rig 8-core AMD, SSD, 32GB RAM with 6 x R9-390s coming soon, I want to run ETH and DCR on this rig. Any configuration suggestions to squeeze the daylights out of this rig? Appreciate any suggestions from forum members too. Thanks!

Decred should be working mostly normally now like other coins. Still a couple bugs, but nothing major. Initial blocks seem to get tagged as orphans as to take a ridiculous amount of time sometimes for the block to show in the wallet, which the pool simply thinks it's an orphan. This is due to dcrd running separate from dcrwallet.

I don't have any GPU's myself so not really too knowledgable on performance tweeks.

I'll probably do what it takes to try and get a decred process set up and try it out once I get back from my trip to India.  I'll advise when it happens Smiley
