I can tell you try setting your diff to 8192, or even lower
With 4 blades, really low diffs stuff up my router after a couple days. Guess I'm just screwed.  Cry

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

DNET seems to be mining only orphans. Related with the wallet update???

I backed out to the previous version, since they removed PoW in their upgrade. Not sure why it's all orphans now. Disabled for now

Per rig, ckproxy sets them just about there (unless you play with the settings)

Yes I believe he has his auto diff set to 1.5 or 1.6 not sure, on this pool I would set a a diff on all my miners or it will skyrocket and lock up my miners

@ 17.15 TH/s, my 4-blade S9 beast usually picks up any extra diffs quite nicely  Grin

What host are you using for your stratum server and PM your address or post part of it here so I can look into it...

I think it was
sha256.mine.zpool.ca:3333
the wallet = 1KNQ4Lzym4wMZdxxxxxzgbTLi3yXFyZXqk
and the IP likely started with 173 or 162 (it's dynamic, so not totally sure which it was).

@crackfoo,
All I'm 100% sure of is that the summary shows:
ckpool/0.9.3 with a diff of 256
and it can't possibly exist.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

Wow. If that's not some fucking bullshit. Mine didn't fail over, as it was getting work and submitting shares.

Yea I know my s5's fell over for about 2 minutes and went right back to the pool, but I did swap to another pool for about an hour.

Well, now my S7 is just locking up. Going back to ipominer. :/

i notice if i have es enabled my s7 locks up.. if i dont it does ok.

i set the diff to 8000.

Cool - thanks! Leaving the difficulty at auto for the moment - I've taken off the #xnsub - will see how it goes.

Is it just me or isn't 8K diff nuts for an S7?

Perhaps I missed it, did BTM mining and payouts get dropped? I noticed the last block on zpool was mined 8 days ago...

yeah sorry. I had posted to their thread and other people as well, the mining BTM was only creating orphans.

I would think that level would produce way too much variance with some of these coins.

Should be ok now. No idea why it not being purged automatically from the DB when there is no shares coming through it.

i use 8k for my s7.. it runs for days.. .

For an S7 running @ 4.73TH/s:
2600 = ~25 shares/minute
3300 = ~20 s/m
4730 = 14 s/m

I'm too lazy to figure the shares/m of 8k, but I can tell you the variance is almost double that of 2.6k. Most don't care about variance, but if you do than 8k is way too high. Wink

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

yes but if you set lower, sometimes if the coin is very low diff you end up with 100% rejects and then you dont get paid.
