Why was Stratis pulled from the pool?
*edit - nevermind I see its back.
Mine it while you still can, Stratis is on block 10,500 and moves over to PoS at block 12,500

I can only speculate that it has to do with the miners software on those things which doesn't seem to like the pool
For mine it was the 6-20 times the server died per day. Right, and now there are no interruptions on the server side... none. nada. I've been playing with Stratehm stratum-proxy before trying to mine on this pool with an S9. I'm not quite ready to deploy it, but I left it running overnight without any mining. In the last 14 hours, there were 41 disconnect errors in the log. So unless there's some bug in the stratum-proxy, or tuning that needs to be done for this pool, it sure doesn't seem rock solid to me. Of course, F2Pool isn't much better with 38 disconnects over the same time period. Compare that to Kano and CK Solo pool, both of which had zero disconnects.

http://zpool.ca/?address=LSceThc4HQEdV5TnbRNZ6LXCqr27z5eiS7you can see that you've only just now hit the threshold for a payout. I don't see any miners attached to your address so if you're concerned about not getting a payout, mine a bit more LTC on that wallet, you'll get one (payout) eventually.

The information you request is right there on the front page. You simply have to read it, but I'll copy paste it for you. From the makers of www.xpool.ca we bring you zpool - the miners multipool! No registration is required, payouts are made to the BTC address you mine with as your username. Payouts are made automatically every 6 hours for all balances above 0.005 and balances more than 0.0005 are paid on Sunday. There is an initial delay before the first payout as coins you mine need to mature then, exchange and get returned to zpool, please wait at least 24 hours before asking for support.

If you like what I've posted, mine for me on whatever algo you like on www.zpool.ca for a minute using my bitcoin address: 1BJJYPRcRPzTEfByCwkeJ8SCBcrnGD1nhL

When mining with an AntMiner S9 on this pool, should extranonce be enabled?
Edit: Note that I'm probably going to use Stratehm stratum-proxy, in case that's relevant.

I do. I've also found that 99% of my problems with zpool and antminers go away when I DON'T set a difficulty. I used to get regular disconnects, now that almost never happens. Please post your experiences with stratehm proxy and zpool here good/bad & settings, once you try it for a couple days if you don't mind. I'd love to know how it works out and if you receive any direct benefit.

Depending on the site, in ckproxy, I usually use: "mindiff" : 0, "startdiff" : 3600, "maxdiff" : 0,
or "mindiff" : 3000, "startdiff" : 3600, "maxdiff" : 9300,
I've used any number of settings and it never mattered.

Hi! Question for crackfoo: What is the difficulty to put on the algo SHA256, when using 0,05PH/s (50 TH/s) 8192 or 16384, to be less than the losses hash? Thanks!

With 500TH, you should be in the 275k-350k range (not 8k-16k)

I'd go with something between 28k-35k

Does anyone face the same problem with me?
Renting power at Nicehash with price lower than the price earned in Zpool and it turned out to be the I lose tons on money.
Well, I do think that renting hash power in MRR/NiceHash will lose you. I tried this for months. and lose TONS!

It's rare that renting hash will do anything except lose BTCYou can't really expect to pay for the hash, pay for the pool, pay for the exchange, and make a profit as well.

Hi all. I'm pretty new to CPU and GPU mining. I'm wanting to setup a CPU miner and GPU miner for zpool that auto switches between the available coins for best mining profits. The trouble is that I can't seem to find any straight forward information that would help a complete novice like me set one up. So my questions are basically this, and PLEASE forgive me if this has already been answered as I couldn't really narrow it down by looking through the threads... 1. Which software for CPU / GPU. Intel I5, I7 and older ATI card (laptop driven) as well as Intel built in graphics 4600HD. 2. What script can I use that would launch said programs and switch between pools? 3. How can I tell which coin(s) are the most profitable at the time? Before anyone says it... yes, I KNOW cpu mining isn't profitable and I'm aware of that. As it is, I have access to free power so I'd like to make some use of it. Thanks. PS. If someone helps me set this up, I'd gladly donate a bit of bitcoins to them. I have some through ASIC mining.

AUTO SWITCH WITH JAREDKARAGEN'S BATCH FILE OR MINERCONTOL-- But auto switchig a CPU miner is doubtfully practical. Currently, the most efficient CPU mining algo is Lyra2RE. just point it at your favorite pool. GTX nVidia cards can be auto-switched with JK's batch file or MinerControl, and MinerControl will also work with AMD cards. Seriously, you need to use Google and read. JaredKaregan's (JK's) batch file is published in this thread. If you have AMD cards, or use Linux, JK's batch file won't help. Windows miners can use MinerControl for nVidia or AMD. Linux miners need a BASH script or gcc compiled executable, and they are not easy to find. I haven't found a good one. --scryptr

The problem I ran into is that there are so many different "ideas" as to what's right that it gets a bit confusing. Kinda the same with the forums here. There's tons of info, but where to start? So, thanks for the info.
