Never heard of that miner.

That unit has a built in miner and web interface.

You would need to be able to log into it and modify the core scripting on it to attempt any sort of profit switching in it.  I assume you can enter pool/algo info in the web interface; if that's the case: no profit switching between algos.

i have a webinterface but i have to choose the algo. maybe i try it with x11 and test with the password selection the algo

It doesn't work that way.  each algo is on a different port... so one setting per algo.... and the device would somehow need to know to try the next algo after disconnecting.  The password string just will kick it offline....  So this will not work.

Something seems wrong with either the pool itself or the stats.

My proxy shows that shares are being submitted, but the pool stats show no hash rate and no increase in earnings.

This seems to have started about two hours ago, corresponding with a disconnect. Here's the last stop cause from the proxy:

Code:
No work notification for 0 seconds.

The S9 is a sha256 miner. You can't use it to mine other algorithms.

This might have been on my end. My S9 got into a weird state where the third blade was completely offline.

I've restarted the S9 and pointed the proxy back at zpool and it seems to be accepting hash again.

Never seen my S9 act like this before. Not a single x'd out ASIC even when overclocked. Of course I've made a lot of changes to get here, including updating the firmware to the latest and using the Stratehm stratum-proxy.

Now an hour later I had the middle chain go completely offline. All x's for the ASICs.

Never seen this before on any other pool.

I noticed that the pool is specifying a really low difficulty of 64. Could this low difficulty be giving my S9 problems?

Someone earlier said that they had better luck with their S9s without specifying any minimum difficulty. But maybe the also are not mining low difficulty coins.

If difficulty is possibly the issue, can someone suggest a decent difficulty for 13 THs S9?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I'm trying a minimum difficulty of 9k, which is getting me about 20 shares a minute. That was the recommendation from an earlier post.

No, I can tell you exactly what is going on. Everyone on sha256 is likely experiencing this problem due to issues with the pool software. My ASICs started going crazy just now, so did a buddy's. I wouldn't be surprised if others with antminers are having similar problems. Even my typically-robust Spondoolies were freaking out. I switched to another pool until Crackfoo comes back from his camping trip. Not knocking him at all, maintaining a pool is probably a lot of work!

Got that 64 difficulty n' all. FWIW I was running on zpool for the past 4 days straight without any problems which was nice.

I have same xxxx issue on my S9 when mining at zpool, too.

I ended up pointing to another pool also. Even after futzing with the minimum difficulty, I was getting pool disconnects once a minute or so.

I'll wait until it's safe to get back in the pool.

Check out the sha256 hash rate on zpool, it's ice-cold 0 now.

Same.  S7 connects but no shares/hash.   Probably a server problem that crackfoo needs to solve when hes back from vacation... he can't be maintaining the site 24/7  He does have a RL Wink

Not a web problem for me.

Miner sits waiting for shares from an alive pool.  Never gets a chance to drop to secondary because the primary is still responding in some way.

Switched to nicehash, mining solid and fine.    Definitely something going on server side....
