my s7s are still mining and finding blocks.. im sure its just a web problem. Not a web problem for me. Miner sits waiting for shares from an alive pool. Never gets a chance to drop to secondary because the primary is still responding in some way. Switched to nicehash, mining solid and fine. Definitely something going on server side.... i guess until we get update ill move my s7s.. i am finding blocks tho.. dunno..

I just tried re-connecting to zpool to see why others were finding blocks, diff for sha256 was stuck at 64.

It's "working" enough that it orphaned at least 2 of my solo UNB blocks

Is the pool operator back?
If not then my concern is that whatever happened yesterday to sha256 (super low difficulty and entire blades of my S9 falling over) could happen again.
I don't think I'll point back here until the problem is either understood, or until someone is at the helm to work around it if it happens again.

CRACKFOO IS AT CAMP-- He should be back in a week or so. I get the impression that he is not an adult, still learning algebra and what not. I am not running my Antminers at all any more, and likely will sell them. My earnings were 1-1.5 DASH a day with one auto-switching GTX 960, a rig of 6 750ti cards on Lyra2v2, and the Antminers. Some changes were made to the pool, and then I was earning less than 1/2 DASH a day. As much as I like the YIIMP auto-switching pool format, I don't mine here any longer. --scryptr

There's a irony in mentioning you are mining a specific "ASIC-free zone"-based algo and your ASIC's not making bank in the same paragraph.

I MISUNDERSTAND-- The Antminers were mining SHA256, of course. I was doing well, but the disconnects were terrible, and I thought that my Antminers were being damaged. The pool started to be unprofitable as changes were made. --scryptr

After several blocks of LBRY....
I have found the reason for the drop when exchange happens is because the reward per block increases over time. Its not a good holding coin... literally a mine and dump it seems. Not sure how that's profitable, but it is for us that way.
By the time the block matures the value of those coins seems always to get adjusted by just about 25% (-1/4). Which still isn't bad.
When pool hashrate is under 3Gh, pool luck is exponential. I have gone ~ -0.014-18 in my trial period so far vs. mining straight lyra2.... but the days we have higher hashrates; and get 1-3 blocks a day, it pays over 2X lyra2.
One of the curses of a high diff long confirm coin =)
Anyone else seeing close to the same results?

Question guys....
between X11, X13, X15, X17, Qubit and Quark
-- which one is the best and most profitable to mine if I have a dedicated miner for it?

Depending on card Id probably lean towards X17.

Depending on card Id probably lean towards X17. for a moment i thought he has a baikal, it's x14 not x17 but who knows .... Correction: X11 X13 X14 X15 Qubit Quark, no X17 my bad. Yes you are right.... I got a unit of the Baikal miner on loan from a friend for a few weeks. 150Mhs X11 mining is pretty impressive for a small 40watts miner. Curious what else can this little guy do?

Ah, that explains it. Yeah, I've been seeing the exact same thing, ~25% drop after the block clears.

Alright, I've been mining and submitting shares on ZPool for over 24 hours now and it's looking like the web portion is either stuck or not registering the submissions so the question becomes, should we be switching to a different pool until whoever runs it decides to take a look into the problem?
I'm mining Decred (GPU) and Sha256 (ASIC) and while my rates aren't super high, I've at least always seen a steady increase as time went on. After the 4 hour pool downtime the other day, it seems to just be stuck.

The theory makes sense but I don't think the math adds up. The price of LBC has dropped 10% over te past week, that's a lot less than the value adjustment when the pool exchanes a block. The inflation caused by the increasing block reward will have a negative effect on price but the data doesn't support such large losses. I have also noticed the value of a pending block fluctuates while it matures, presumably reflecting exchange rate fluctuations. If so the value should always be current and there should be no significant change in value when the coin is exchanged. I'm not sure it's only happening with LBC, it may be more apparent because of the high block value. I have also noticed significant drops in the exchanged value of MONA and VERT but it's more difficult to confirm it's the same behavoiur as LBC.
