It is reversed trend again towards appreciation in market for Pivx in my opinion. I don't know charts very well but I understand little bit by seeing increasing volume and value means that situation of previous days is ending now. Just good days ahead again for holders.

nice and honest analysis. but i think you are wrong on one point: "I admit there is nothing really special"
thats right atm but the ZEROCOIN PROTOCOL feature (developing atm) is special and differs PIVX more clearly from dash once released

It's on! Congratulations to the devs and the community for those milestones: rock solid wallet (masternode or staking both are working flawlessly since updated a while back), the halving is going smoothly and back to voting, making proposals etc.

After today, we now have it officially confirmed that the mandatory wallet update to version 2.2 fixed the budget/proposal system (the payouts went out as planned) and of course the masternode payment enforcement (before this wallet version you could alter your wallet code and not pay masternodes, keeping their payment to yourself).

Two of the most crucial aspects of PIVX are now running exactly as they should. Really makes me happy, and I love the continuous advancements that PIVX continues to make.

is this normal? I have over 10,000 pivx.

It can be a bit of "normal" + "unlucky" but the consistency also can depend on how your inputs are setup.
I assume you are using 2.2.1 also? If not, I recommend you to upgrade as it's more secure & stable.

I have my 10k split 10 ways resulting in each input being approx 1000 PIV each.
It doesn't mean you get richer but does allow better utilization of your coins. (and more consistent minting frequency etc)
It's certainly better than having some of the 10K PIV in smaller inputs (e.g. 5 PIV) as a 5 PIV input might take 5 years to stake just once!
Here's something I whipped up to show how to use the built-in UTXO splitter to split your coins into multiple inputs automatically.
You don't need multiple addresses. Just send the coins back to the same single address if you want.

I'm in the same range now and don't find too much diferences from the times with smaller chuncks in the 1-1.5k range. Maybe if you have a lot of small chunck <1k PIVx you could find problems to stake a block. Jakiman, any wise words from the devs about this matter??

I am asking myself if the optimal solution is to maximize the number of chuncks that can stake safely before a mandatory wallet upgrade... for example:

2000 Staking Rewards   2.21 PIVX 2.53$ / 7.36 days        Monthly Income   9.11 PIVX 10.46$
500   Staking Rewards   2.21 PIVX 2.53$ / 29.45 day     Monthly Income 2.28 PIVX 2.62$ x4 10.48$

but with the advantages for the 500 stakes to be able to gain ranks as soon as someone reset it's queuing with a transfer.
so the 500 chunck, if there is no update should be a little bit more profitable.

that's just my 0.00000002 pivx.

Decentralized Exchange

PIVX is too good to be raped by bots daily on Bittrex.  The announcement of such a project would change everything overnight.
