uhm, is this a mandatory update ? do i have to resync after the update ?
Yes it is mandatory for wallets and masternodes. Yes u have to delete everything except Darknet.conf, masternode.conf and wallet.dat There will no longer be PoW functionality in this new wallet. Ah okay, so POW has ended ?! I can close the pool ?? Yes And why are then blocks from the "old" version still accepted on the new network ? Most confusing fork ever...

Block-count-based approximate date/time of PoW to PoS switchover at block 259201: PST - August 7th 11:15 (US) EST - August 7th 15:15 (US) GMT - August 7th 19:15 AEST - August 8th 05:15 (Sydney) (please correct me if I'm wrong but I did double check ) (block time does vary so it could be off by up to 30 mins)

The majority of coins looks exactly the same .. Nothing new .. I have bunch and! as time progresses and people show up and maybe experts and testers that want to join in and we have value rather then sell I will sponsor these people btw want to enable staking.. (to compare performance) have wallet DarkNet Core version v2.0.0.0-0536d38 (64-bit) but it is stuck at block # 256280 let me resync UI (mac wallet) if u know of a problem do ping pleasae have a wonderful weekend all ! you are part of of good crypto and this is definitely not going anywhere but stick around in the space (English can be funny thing) update: ok. wallet fully synced.. will attempt to stake 10K dnet

All done, thanks for the info. This community is definitely on it. I went overkill on buying up electronic components and IoT microcontrollers last month and have a spare mini NodeMCU ESP8266 IoT kit I am thinking of giving away in a community lottery or competition. http://imgur.com/qoDQsk5https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cavw3F3SXQgThere is enough in the kit to build one of these except you would use an API for DNET price or Masternode count (different LCD minus the LEDS and resistors). Add relays and you could hack vending machines to accept DNET. You could even unlock doors and turn on lights using DNET. I was thinking a competition on Twitter for 10 DNET per entry using TX in reply's as verification, pick a random winner after a week and DM to get the postal address and send recorded post to the winner. All DNET would go towards my second Masternode. What do you guys think?

What do you guys think? love it, seriously.. and you know that stakebox is actual RPI stake DNET wallet (although it can do others as well) microntroller, micro computers are future of crypto ! thanks for joining our community! one more thing, look even if idea does not get traction on super massive scale, it is the kind of thing that get people interested in the long run.. I personally now due to some work requirements deep buried in theer but its this kind of projects that are true awesomeness (in my personal opinion) and one more thing I am sitting on half million dnet and growing weekly.. (selling nothing) will have 0 problems in the future sponsoring you and others

I am also in the middle of building an eCig business and looking for a part time job so finding the time will be the biggest challenge. Part of my reasoning for wanting to give this kit away is to get it in the hands of someone I could potentially work with on Blockchain and IoT.

I think that one of the most interesting and important futurist aspects of IoT (Internet of Things) is that it is actually going to necessitate 'Darknet' technology to fully entrust individual users privacy, security and safety ! - https://blog.torproject.org/blog/quick-simple-guide-tor-and-internet-things-so-far - A Quick, Simple Guide to Tor and the Internet of Things (So Far)

I have noticed some weird behavior with the new wallet. It says it is up to date, but it get stuck on a certain block.
I am seeing this on my controller wallet and masternodes. "chain" : "main", "blocks" : 254640, "headers" : 257855, "bestblockhash" : "000000000037bce3960f9bc044c2ce8f2840d046b86699b21dc47f019e048508", "difficulty" : 110.31885163, "verificationprogress" : 0.98450540, "chainwork" : "00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000d7309beadd7bfd" }
The headers stays up to date, but the blocks stays stuck at whatever block the chain was on when I started the daemon/wallet. I noticed this because when I receive transactions, they would never show as confirmed. I have to force my wallet to rescan the blockchain to get it up to the latest block.
