We just burned the 60k at block 279917.

If you look at the Total Coins in the previous block, you will see that this block is 60k less. The coins were sent as a network fee which are destroyed.

But why network fee was destroyed and not given to miner?

Yes, at the change to PoS, network fees are now destroyed. Though it is fractional, it does help overtime with inflation, and now we can remove coins from the total coin cap if needed... Smiley instead of having them just sit there at an address somewhere. Thats how burning coins should work.. Smiley

Thank you very much for this clear reply s3v3nh4cks! I didn't knew that Smiley.

Announcement: due to the rapid increase in interest all across anonymous blockchain technologies I decided to up my stake considerably ,a buy order was issued for approximately 200K Dnet , coins will be parceled to master nodes

Dnet is one of few of these coins that remained a bargain it also sports strong and dedicated development team

hehehe, I agree totally.

955 Masternodes!!! Soon 1000 Cheesy.

soon to inject additional 20, do take a look what is happening with the anonymous coins, they are off the charts and going higher

stay the course!

this is the routine i following for ipv6 on vultr. is it right?

Looks right to me. The only thing I don't do there is 4. I just let it sync from scratch.
Are the masternode wallets running? (check getinfo or masternode status on them)

People like Mein pos Huh
There is a purse with a small amount Dnet
After staking sync icon is lit, but maynin dnet happens that you need to do to mining pos involved?
sorry for my English

Leave wallet unlocked for staking. Eventually you will get some coins. The more coins you have the more likely/often you will get a stake

The logs writes such information, it is normal?

Using -rpcuser -rpcpassword -rpcport that your told me do before? I do that and it says it's not running and sometimes says it's wrong user or pass. Dunno gone over me head.

Sounds like your wallets are not starting up properly for some reason.
Check the debug.log to see why. (in /var/lib/masternodes/darknet#/)

i think all 5 are running but they are not syncing and me overwriting the block chain folders does not sync it in. there are no connections in getinfo

/usr/local/bin/darknet-cli -conf=/etc/masternodes/darknet_n1.conf getinfo this is how i have been getting the info.

i have tried stopping them with

/usr/local/bin/darknet-cli -conf=/etc/masternodes/darknet_n1.conf stop

and restarting the vps but then only node 1 will start

I try to start the nodes with

/usr/local/bin/darknetd -conf=/etc/masternodes/darknet_n2.conf

it says

root@1:~# Error: Cannot obtain a lock on data directory /root/.darknet. DarkNet Core is probably already running.

but if i check info it is not Huh

it will not let me see debug either

root@2:~# /var/lib/masternodes/darknet1/debug.log
-bash: /var/lib/masternodes/darknet1/debug.log: Permission denied

getting puzzled.

edit.

I did a fresh start. did not try to download the block chain from an already synced one and when i restart the vps it starts all 5. using

/usr/local/bin/darknet-cli -conf=/etc/masternodes/darknet_n*.conf getinfo

to check if they are running and they are

but they do not download the blockchain they are all on block 123. it keeps having connections then dropping them out.

926 Masternodes Smiley it's great. On my side everything is working perfectly. Let's enjoy the high pos rewards... until they last Cheesy.

When the people of the world will get that covid was intentionally released to frame china, steal the election from trump, assure massive bail outs and foster the forced vaccination agendas...they will forget, like 911, wmds in irak, uss liberty or pedogate.

+1 and zero problems on my side, believe captured 200K Dnet @  decent price close to the bottom, it is a nice feeling...

later on Today need to populate and trigger more master nodes will update you all on count and if collection is happening (the base 50 master nodes d collect and receive like ~20 per node steadily with zero problem) and selling ? no I aint selling if anything I will do privte bounties for great cryptographic work in the future (once we go up price wise)

Hey great!! And nice trade by the way... very astute of you this bold move. It will be interesting to see the price at the end of the pow phase...

Where are we on this issue of votes? Is Github financed by us already? And about jakiman communication operations? Would be nice to use those coins... who controls them in the meantime?

You mean at the end of the PoS reduction phase? In about 8 months from now, the block reward will be 10x less than now. (drop from 50 to 5) Which means, for masternodes to become as profitable as now or at least be profitable against its running cost, either we'll see a much higher per coin price than now (3 to 10x or more) or a lot less number of people running masternodes than now. Hopefully the former. Tongue

As for the budget proposal, I believe they are still not passed / paid in any way. Well, I certainly haven't been paid. (not even 1 DNET) Also I believe my proposal wasn't worth much at all? Not sure if it had any worthwhile payment involved. AFAIK, it was just a vote to let everyone know (and get approval) that I'll sometimes be posting on behalf of the devs here & twitter etc. (more like an ackknowledgement that I can be trusted... sort of... Cool ) I'm happy to pass the buck to whoever with better skills in marketing & communication than myself as I'm no marketer by any means. Wink

Nothing, it can take some time to stake depending on the number of coins you have and the size of the inputs you are using to stake with, there is also a degree of luck involved. I have some inputs in the 3500 DNET range that are at over 5000 confirmations and haven't staked yet, I also have seen them stake in only a few hundred confirmations.

Where are we on this issue of votes? Is Github financed by us already? And about jakiman communication operations? Would be nice to use those coins... who controls them in the meantime?

The budget proposals that were made before the latest kerfuffle with constant wallet updates will have to be resubmitted. They were only showing on http://178.254.23.111/~pub/DN/DN_masternode_payments_stats.html because the person running that site had started their wallet with a backup of their budget.dat in an effort to have the information contained therein propagate across the network. It didn't, so the majority of wallets would have rejected any budget payments because they didn't recognize them as valid. I reset the budget yesterday and we will get some similar proposals up in the next day or so.

As far as who controls the coins in the meantime, there seems to be some confusion, or misunderstanding regarding how the budget system actually works. In a nutshell, no one controls them in the meantime, they don't actually exist. Once every 43200 block(about 30 days) there is what is referred to as a super block. If there are any budget items that have passed the thresholds required to be approved the coins for those items are created at that block and sent to the addresses intended to receive them with no third party intervention. The budget system is completely decentralized, in that no one controls the coins and sends them to people, it is all done automatically in the code.

If there is a month in which there are no proposals to pay out to the coins are never created. That is why the actual coin count is less than the projected coin count up to this point. There has yet to be a month where the entire budget allotment has been spent.

Use coin control to make sure you are not trying to spend staking or masternode rewards with fewer than 100 confirmations. There is still some tweaking we need to do since the change to PoS.
