Can someone confirm the blockchain is at 600-650MB?

If it is still that size all this time, then I could offer masternode hosting.

If I'd offer masternode hosting with ipv4/ipv6/tor, would anyone pay for?

btw if anyone can help me with MN hosting pls let me know thanks

Paul's service is also worth considering and has been around since the early DarkNet days. $1.80/mo. plus $1 setup. Granted, there is an argument for looking elsewhere to ensure MNs are spread around, but aside from that it's a good deal.

http://mp-hosting.co.uk/

At time of writing, he has 23 nodes available and usually gets more up as needed.

ok thanks, i will check
btw do u know anyone who can help me setting them up? i dont have time to handle them.

Nevermind me, I've just got updated on the last years happenings and I found out the already working masternode hosting services.

Also, I've found out that my masternode is worth much more now. I hope the other masternodes don't start dumping. I know I won't.

I will still consider and study putting up a staking node / masternode hosting service.

Glad the project is getting more and more attention. Going up again today! Masternode count steadily rising! Community is one of the best I've encountered so far and I am glad that I can be a part of it.

Two good and quite cheap options, Paul's, 1.5$/month, and Vultr, 5$ month, but if you want to setup multiple masternodes there you could use the Masxmanch (sorry, man, alwayl unable to write your nick correctly) and divide the cost till 1$/month (5 MN's with 1 IPv4 and 5 IPv6 over it)

so this are statistics on coinmarketcap for PIVX

Volume (24h)
$477,958
460.07 BTC

can somebody explain why poloniex won't add PIVX on its exchange?

It'll come.  Be patient.

And when it does, PIVX can really start to stretch its legs Cheesy

Edit: SWEAR I wrote that before I saw your username.  Dying laughing rn.
They need to accumulate more to made a quite good bussiness in the initial pump. Seems that they were not very sure about DNET in the past and now they don't have enough PIVx to try to manipulate the market. If the pump stops, maybe in some days, if this going crazy insiders already have the info, if it's an undefined situation, wait more...

lol yeah same problem here but it is mxnsch. not sure if he has updated the script for pivx now.
if needed you can still find my adaption @ this post:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1262920.msg17650990#msg17650990

works with pivx and ubuntu 16.04

@berron yea there is some manipulation going on atm thats clear and i guess they plan a big dump (see the 300+ btc buy wall) to scare more people with not enough exp. in this game

i'm not sure if we want to be on a xchange working with such unfair methods. i avoid polo for years now ....

Thanks, DRPD (yours is easier). And yes, your scrypt works really nice, thanks.

And now, old noob question, the easiest way to avoid the small change transactions is not to use always a personal change address in send with coin control enabled??? If true, I feel a bit idiot now...

There are only two coins right at the moment which have continuous support and looks stable at their current prices. Pivx is the second which is doing more then well and don't seem immediate uncertain thing happening. It is maintaining its new position while with movements let space for new investors to become part of it.

Thank you. I am little confused though.

Somebody mentioned that in vultr for $5 usd/month we can have 5 ipv6 and 5 master nodes.

But your guide shows three and the price 3 x $5 = $15 per month?

no you are looking/reading wrong you need one one vps for 5 bucks/month to run 5 instances

there was a llittle upgrade on vultr a while ago so you need the second cheapest plan
25 GB SSD $5/mo $0.007/h 1 CPU 1024MB Memory 1000GB Bandwidth

you get enough ipv6 with any plan

you don't need 5 vps to run 5 instances.

note the diff btw. vps and instance  Wink

cheers

Thanks for clarification.

Still need help to understand though.

I use one vps for 2.5 bucks/month there.

But I do not see there an option for adding instances. Just new server deployment options.

So still confused about how to do that.

thats why you have to use the shell script for installation.
this is well documented in the guide from mxnsch, you hust have to use my script because of the name change from dnet to pivx.

you have to do edit the amount of instances manually (also documented in the guide from mxnsch).
and you need to know about sudo and stuff to let it run with enough rights, edit conf files, get the ip's and all the mambo jambo
