Thanks DRPD and EleanorZ.

In newbie terms I can sum up what I've learned till now is that staking is same as setting up master node BUT you don't freeze 10,000 PIV instead whatever you have you can freeze and earn some reward and as in setting up MN you mostly put in place VPS which has more CPU/RAM/DISK power but with staking your home computer does fine.

From http://178.254.23.111/~pub/DN/DN_masternode_payments_stats.html
Reward from last Block for Miners/Stakers: 6.21 PIV

Now that's divided to total number of stakers?

Thanks DRPD and EleanorZ.

your wecome

a masternode doesn't need more cpu/ram/disk. for 1 node i guess 265MB RAM 1 slow single core cpu should work and maybe 20GB Disk (depends on os u use)
you can use almost any pc at home for 1 masternode - no problem. a lot of us "noders" run more than 1 node so we sure need vps's with more ram, cpu, disk and you need a ip address for each node. example set up for 5 nodes on vultr would be:
25 GB SSD $5/mo $0.007/h 1 CPU 1024MB Memory 1000GB Bandwidth + at least 5 ipv6 addresses

From http://178.254.23.111/~pub/DN/DN_masternode_payments_stats.html

no i don't think so if you stake you get 6.21 PIVX.
since i'm a noder not a staker, maybe a staker can confirm this cuz i'm not sure

however if i get a mn rewards i get 7.29 PIVX

however if i get a mn rewards i get 7.29 PIVX

Reward for last Block: 13.50 PIV
Reward from last Block for Miners/Stakers: 6.21 PIV
Reward from last Block for Masternodes: 7.29 PIV
Estimated Payment per Masternode: 5.59 PIV / day

Now what's the math here 6.21 PIV from 13.50 PIV went to Miners/Stakers and remaining is 7.29 PIV while estimation about daily payout / MN is 5.59 PIV.

I think 7.29 PIV is to be distributed with all MN and according to some previous statistics they estimate that total payout would be around 5.59 PIV for every MN for today.

Am I right? (Cryptos are tough nuts to crack Cheesy )

if i get a reward, i get 7.29 PIVX atm (can change almost any time, depends on mn amount for example) but i don't get all 24 hrs a reward for each node
let's say i get a reward of 7.29 PIVX for each node all 31hrs, that would make ~5.59 PIVX/Day/Node

for stakers there is also a luck factor included afaik

I think 7.29 PIV is to be distributed with all MN and according to some previous statistics they estimate that total payout would be around 5.59 PIV for every MN for today.

well we all had to learn at the beginning, try step by step, even rome wasn't built in 1 day

How many coins to you need to do regular staking/minting every 24 hours? More than the 10,000 amount for a master node?

I have 7k and get a reward every 1 day to 1.5 days, sometimes more sometimes less. It evens out though.

It's never *exactly* every 24 hours regardless. From experience, when I've staked ~10000 I've received a reward around once a day, and sometimes twice. I haven't tested carefully, but I suspect you'd still receive a fairly regular stake with < 10000, just maybe not every day. Not sure what it would be like if you had a very small number only though.

BTW, we have many more developers than what we list on the pivx.org website. Many have joined recently voluntarily.

Use a multipool that pays out in PIVX
