Short answer: you need 10K PIVX for a MN, and the relative benefit of having an MN or staking changes depending on how many MNs there are (the seesaw mechanism).

Friend of mine pointed me towards PIVX and I read the first post but would love for someone to ELI5 to me what makes PIVX great. Seems theres some excitement about this cryptocurrency and I would appreciate for someone to explain in english and/or point me to some ressources where I can read more about it.
