Pivix masternode is probably one of the most expensive coins to hold, now there comes new masternode coin project, competition begins. could be interesting.

Seems like PIVX has been bouncing around $1-$2.50 for about a year now. When are we gonna see a $5 pivx?

I wish we lived in your timeline!

Aug 18, 2016: PIVX (then called DarkNet) was ~0.004 USD per PIV.

Masternode - i did not get any reward after the mandatory update.

Now 3 days are gone, MN Status enabled, active 3 days

Is that normal??? Thought it takes max. 2 days, after restarting a node ....

had to wait ~4 days after update/restart ...

That's normal.

Normally you get a masternode payment every ( <number of masternodes> divided by 1440 ) days on average, right now that's about 1957/1440 = 1.40 days.

After a restart (which is needed in case of a protocol update) this is a bit more, depending how long ago your last payment was and how much masternodes were updated before yours.

Best case: you update right after your masternode got its last payment, and coincidentally you're the first masternode to update.

Worst case: you update right before the next payment would have happened (means you already waited for 1.4 days), and you're the last masternode to update, means you'd have to wait another 1.4 days for your first payment.

Add to that roughly half a day (depending on your luck) and you have a ballpark estimation.

Its amazing how PIVX holds its dollar value irrespective of the big swings in BTC price. The next floor would be $5 once the zero lib implementation is released.

Anyone knows when we would see an implementation of the zerocoin officially released? Hoping to see it go live before the end of the year.

The developers seem inclined to not just implement the zerocoin protocol, but to also be 200% sure beforehand that it is bugproof.

Only the developers know when zerocoin will go live. However, when it does, be sure to fasten your seatbelts, 'cause we will be going to da moon  Grin

Hello,

I am new to PIVX and I have a question about the wallets.
Is there a reason why the windows exes are unsigned but zipped versions are?
I am far from the best with wallets, I know enough to get by but normally if I download a wallet, it doesn't say "unsigned" on it.
Other than Electrum Cash but that was a necessary evil; a one time deal.

Can someone give me an explanation or offer some guidance?

I just noticed I installed 64bit unsigned and are a bit leery into sending coins to it.

Thanks in advance.

The new wallet .... pivx v2.3.0 keeps crashing on my mac

it worked after syncing the chain, and allowing me to transfer in the coins I had on bittrex... now after attempting to stake and not seeing the green staking light come up for a half an hour i exited out of the wallet and it will not reload.

The wallet was working fine till last night but since this morning it has been acting strange. i can see it on my taskbar, so it is running but it is simply not showing as a window. I restarted the wallet and it started but again I can see it on my taskbar and that's about it. It remains invisible. I downloaded the wallet on the 19th (the latest version from the PIVX site) and it was staking alright. Any help guys?
