The masternode count went down from 2100 to 1500, now the count is higher than before the mandatory update, we have now about 2200 masternodes. I really wonder who buys in for a masternode at that price level. Now you have to spend 40.000 $, wich is quite a lot for a masternode.
40k$ a lot ? what about 320k$ for a dash masternode ? The masternode count usually goes down severely when a hosting site goes down, it's not because people sell their MN (most of the time it's not selloff). The owners thougth that PIVX is going to moon than they moved their coins to bittrex. now they realised that PIVX will not go to moon (anyway not soon) so they restarted their masternodes. Oh shit!! are you serious? no moon? Dammit! I had my suit ready too. Oh well, I guess I can put it back in the closet and put my underwear back on. |

Well... talking about "fake news" I guess we have a winner here... You forgot one tiny detail, we have Zerocoin implementation running on Testnet right now and will go live. Nice try to FUD, have a good day. I guess the six wallet updates since January counts as doing nothing?(I did not count the wallets released in January) Or the updated website that was relaunched in March? Lots of progress has been made with this coin. I think someone just wants to be able to afford a masternode. I consider people spreading FUD progress too, means people are taking notice of PIVX. |

That's all fine but please explain bitcoin cash then, has 1 dev, did basically nothing and it's worth 50 times more than pivx. Also you can go on with Neo and all the rest, you have at least 20-25 big coins to call out before you accuse pivx of scam  Oh btw, bitcoin gotta be the biggest scam by this logic. It sucks for those who missed the early days of pivx, (I missed it too, bought in at 90k sat right after the first dip from the 160k ATH, and kept buying every dip) but if it succeeds in the next few years, you will regret not buying today. |

Ever since the Q1 price spike and looking at the roadmap I've had the same thought. Kept buying on the dips and already am seeing great reason for 1-2 year considerable upside. I think the $15ish spike will eventually grow to the new price floor as more adoption/marketing grows. |

Got my first PIVXes today.
Coming from Dash but I prefer to use something with a lesser unit value for real life transactions, hence I am now preferring PIVX.
I'm into PIVX for the instant transaction functionality more than for the privacy bit; I've downloaded the "PIVX wallet" on my android (and I also use coinomi, so I have actually two wallets) and I can see that there is no specific box or button to select the swiftTX function. Does it mean that swiftTX is used by default by this wallet? Or otherwise, what wallet do I need to use to test how fast swiftTX is?
Likewise, also Coinomi does not allow swiftTX, but that makes sense since it's a multicurrency wallet and cannot expect too much I guess.
Please let me know which wallet you use for swiftTX.

If you get a ton of rewards in a very short time you're either very lucky or you just forked off the chain and you're staking alone. I had no stakes for 3-4 days now and I got 8k. |
