The wallet links aren't working @ https://pivx.org/wallet/ nor on OP. Where can I download 64-bit win wallet? Gives a very crappy first impression about Pivx, when you aren't even able to download a wallet... Hey! You are right. Last week, we had some problems with the 3.0.x release of the wallet, so right now only a "release candidate" wallet is available. You can find it on GitHub: https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releasesI expect the link on the website to be working again as soon as the final 3.0.x version is released, so I advise to wait for that release.

Enduring a project with his money I do not think it gives a bad image ... and less in the circumstances of incapacity like the current ones. Your disrespectful response. yes. if you are unable to see the bad image of this project with all this matter, the one that does not work correctly is you, not him.I believe that currently only someone with misinformation would come to support with his money a project like PIVX. Giving an image of greater capacity would not be bad to start changing that...and that would be good for everyone.

Push here in: PIVX DESKTOP WALLETS 10/25/2017 NOTICE: Please avoid using ALL wallets 3.0.3 or below. Everyone must upgrade to 3.0.4 RC3 wallet. Download it >HERE<.
Then github link in the new opened page And choose your wallet. Salute Edit- That here is in So it's the user's fault that they get an 404 error from each wallet link on the OP? Insanity, it would take somebody five seconds to correct the OP. Why can't you take the feedback and do something correct the issue.

What can generate errors in the user is to massively animate and even tick mandatory updates that require a technical skill that not all have. Not updating the provisional versions until a definitive one is no disrespect to the community ... on the contrary, it can save many unnecessary errors ... and it is very important that the steps in the good direction are solid, so much for the arrangement of the problem as for the image of seriousness of the project towards users who are not yet inside.

I guess there is a misunderstanding. I'll try to be as clear as possible. I personally get angry from 404-errors. If some project, into which I might put money into, gives me plenty of 404-errors (like the OP, without any explanation), I'll likely lose my trust. This is common sense, I don't understand how could somebody argue against it. Why not add the link for the RC3-wallet version in the OP and gray out the 404-error links? Also, why not gray out the 404-error-links in the website?

My post, more than an allusion to the specific error you comment, was generally in the face of continuous references to user failures, when: 1- A great technical level of the users is not demandable, just as it was not at the moment of investment and entrance to the project. 2- In its limitations, I understand that the users have obeyed the official slogans continuously and executed the arranged means.

CORE 3.0.4 FINAL WALLET NOW AVAILABLE - MUST UPGRADE - OCT/29/2017Core 3.0.4 Final wallet binaries & full release note is now available on github. https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases/tag/v3.0.4Mandatory PIVX v3.0.4 (final) core wallet update has been released. This is the stable GA build which all users can use. All exchanges have been notified to update to this build. It includes numerous additional fixes & enhancements over the RC3 release. Please check the release notes for the full change log. (Note: NO ONE should be running any other version than THIS ONE. So please upgrade asap.)WHAT TO DO1. If your 3.0.4 RC2 or RC3 is working fine right now and is on the right chain, you do not have to re-sync the blockchain from beginning when upgrading to 3.0.4 final. You just need to shut down the RC2/RC3 wallet, install (or replace files) to the new 3.0.4 wallet, then restart the wallet. Wait for it to recalculate/sync. Voila. 2. If you aren't even running 3.0.4 RC2 or RC3 yet, then you must upgrade to this 3.0.4 final release and re-sync the blockchain: (3.0.4 wallet now has built-in -resync option in CLI & GUI) https://forum.pivx.org/t/pivx-core-wallet-3-0-4-final-release-10-29-2017/3. If you are a self-compiler, please DO NOT compile from master. Compile using the 3.0.4 tag (git checkout v3.0.4). Always check @_pivx and my Twitter for latest announcements. (or Slack #announcments channel)

While wallet is not running, rename/back up your existing wallet.dat, replace it with the one you want, then restart the wallet. Keep in mind that if you have any zPIV minted, those will not be visible on an older wallet that was backed up prior to minting them. By default, PIVX data directory is located in the following locations for each common OS type:
Windows Go to Start > Run > %APPDATA%\PIVX (or just enter the above path in explorer) or C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\PIVX
OSX ~/Library/Application\ Support/PIVX (/Users/YourUserName/Library/Application\ Support/PIVX)
Linux ~/.pivx (Hidden folder “.pivx” - control+h to display in the GUI, ls -a to display in terminal)

if i try to send/convert my zpiv back to piv i get the following message:
"Spend Zerocoin failed with status = 11 Message: Try to spend with a higher security level to include more coins"
no difference if i set the security level to 1 or 100 or try a lower zpiv amount, allways the same message (with latest RC and 3.0.4). the zpiv amount i try to send is marked as available on privacy tab ofc.
any idea how i can convert the zpiv back to piv with this error/problem?
edit: worked now: played around with the security level and suddenly with value 57 it worked, no idea why strange & not sure if that works as intended .....

Hi, updated wallet and now 10% of zPiv's.
I'm "hodler & staker" what should I do... Keep 10% in zPivs? Can these be staked? Should I turn the zPivs back to normal pivs to maximize the staking? How?
Thanks.

Currently, zPIV does not stake. But having them in zPIV helps the entire PIVX network's zPIV liquidity/anonimity. So it's up to you to decide which you like. If you want to stake that extra 10%, you can simply disable it via config file or limit the auto-mint denomination to a size larger than 10% of your PIV balance. Then you can spend that zPIV back to your PIV address. Keep in mind that you can only transfer up to 7 zPIV denominations per single spend transaction atm.
