I go a lot of wallet core and ONLY the pivx one bug a lot of time for syncing (pc formated, wallet unstalled an ré installed, blockchain deleted......)

Use a backup of the blockchain: http://178.254.23.111/~pub/PIVX/Daily-Snapshots-Html/PIVX-Daily-Snapshots.html. The wallet should sync without a problem after that. (This is in the release directions if you read the whole thing.)

Since the price increase seems to have attracted some new faces that haven't been following this thread, I am going to repost this info, FYI.

Blocks 908000 and 908001 included some extra computation to fix an issue that arose during the zPiv implementation process. If you're stuck on block 907999:

Make sure you're on the newest wallet, and read ALL release notes: https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases

As stated in the release notes, you may need to include...

reindexaccumulators=1

...in your conf file and restart, and, if that still doesn't solve it, you may need to download the latest blockchain snapshot from http://178.254.23.111/~pub/PIVX/Daily-Snapshots-Html/PIVX-Daily-Snapshots.html (again, follow all instructions in doing so)

Wallet stuck syncing on "Scanning block 907999"... just upgraded to latest v3.0.5.1 and deleted block files to do a fresh sync, but still no dice.

Any thoughts?

I tried: rescan blockchain files --> no change
           then rebuild block index from current blk000???.dat files--> no change

Any ideas from the awesome PIVX community?

Yesterday I move my coins to Ledger and send some back to the previous wallet it was fantastic the operation was fast and furious.
Yeah for all of us who doesn’t have 10000 coins to stake, we can now use Ledger cold storage, thank you that was something I have been longing for.

PIVX have a very nice future remember all problem DASH have in beginning and now PIVX are ready beside that PIVX can offer something no other coin can offer.

no minimum req. you just will not stake to often with a small amount

if you loose internet con. you simply  stop to stake thats it.
you should have backup(s) of your wallet.dat  and if so you are safe.

if you don't have backups you are in danger anyway, so this step is mandatory!

PIVX was listed as a new pair with KRW on UpBit a few days ago. The boost from that, together with the bullish atmosphere of the last few days, probably created a snowball effect where people noticed PIVX and its technology and pumped the price. In turn, the pump will have triggered some sells and prompted some holders to take profit. That, together with BTC and DASH going crazy (like 'oh shit, they're still going up; better jump on the bandwagon'), probably explains the dump that's occurring now.

Hopefully you're right that this is the 'bird before all birds'. PIVX has more features to come and is pushing hard for real-world adoption. Both of those things bode well.
