Not all altcoins are waste, it seems that a few altcoins is a back up for bitcoins and use for exchange and tradings... I use my altcoins exchange to cloud mining that I got it from faucets. I can't participate regularly in exchange services due to my busy time.
not all but 99 per cent of them are waste for sure, the only cryptos that are worth attention right now is ethereum both coins and lisk in my opinion |

you are right but in my opinion some of them might be really useless though such coins as ethereum are really great so i hold it now |

i mine altcoin and ai save only the better oen the other i dump immediately the one that are more promising are in hold for better time, i do this only with coin that had a pump lately or have a true potential

I sold use the bitcoin I mine to pay for the mining cost. I will hold most of the coin whenever possible as the price will rise in the future. |

I sold use the bitcoin I mine to pay for the mining cost. I will hold most of the coin whenever possible as the price will rise in the future. What you are doing is a very profitable practice, mining would give you income if you are not going to sell it right away and we have witness in the past that most of the long time holders are making fortune of bitcoin. I can see this will happen also to you if you will continue to do the right practice. |

yeah there are some pretty strong altcoin like etherum, litecoin, and there are several others where they can not be equated with other altcoin. that altcoin also quite strong and may have a life span that is similar to bitcoin. I think it's quite profitable to mining altcoin? |

Mining will depend on the country you are living in and the cost of electricity and it will also require capital to buy equipments, better option is to trade and sell when price goes higher. |

you're definitely right,some of altcoins are just being made and only live for a short time but there's also some altcoin that could live until now and quite popular and this kind of altcoin will appear day by day and trying to compete against bitcoin,it's about how the altcoin is being developed by the devs |

The thing is, there can never be only one crypto currency in the future, altcoin are destine to support bitcoin and maybe act as an independent project. We can see a lot of altcons now with great potential in the future and if that is just a waste investors will not support that with their money. Altcoins are showing they can turn into the silver of bitcoin history or the seconds to achieve bigger results, at bitcoin the way to get rich i do believe has gone, you can get a steady income and just, with altcoins if you lucky, you can make huge income without very effort, look at monero i dont remember any crypto coin has 80k btc as volume daily, and the worse at weekend when the market usually is more frozen. I do remember eth has 40k-60k of bitcoin and just. |

For me, it's better to sell it all your mining coins, so you don't need scare the price of that coin going down. Just sell it, earn money and mining the coins again.

yeah supposed to be better direct sell to cover the cost of electricity or other things. because of the risk when the price falls you will be losers. but another thing when you mining altcoin and try your luck to hold until prices rise very high. because altcoin has a very high potential for the price to rise to 200% or more at least. |

It depends on what you mine. If you mine the bitcoin, ASIC will be useless in a year. But if you mine the altcoins, GPU can be sold later. I also like to use the GPU mining as it can be used to mine many different coins with quite high profitability. |
