I won't go for mining as it won't be profitable enough for me to invest in it, so if I see price going lower in coming days then will prefer to buy some and save them for the future.
I do believe as well mining with our own equipment isnt a profitable way, even knowing that there are some people mining and able to profit, as they had roi their equipment cost, but start now such its insane, better buy the altcoins or bitcoin directly from the exchange and work from it.

To do bitcoin mining, we must need specialized ASICs, without them trying mining must be suicidal. But, comparing mining with alt coin trading is completely meaningless as both are totally different, but maybe having same levels of risks. To get the maximum profits from mining reward bitcoins, a miner must save it.

Mining shouldn't be an option anymore for the average Bitcoiner as it's basically a pointless option nowadays. Simply buying Bitcoin is always better than trying to gain it through mining. It saves you time, effort, headache, and whatnot.

That's true and it will also require capital for buying mining equipment which can be an costly affair and not affordable to everyone, better choice is to buy them and invest them in altcoins to earn profits.

Investing in a mining business is very costly  and not all people can afford to do that, in my case I would just buy bitcoin and will just hold it in the future because it is more convenient to me and I do not need to maintain it as simply putting my bitcoins in my wallet is already a good way of investment.

Yes its better to save your coins coz bitcoin have potential to rise up the price. Wait the right toke before you sell it to get a good profit. I hope it will happen that on november 9 bitcoin price can do spike the price. If that happen many investor get happy and all the traders must have plenty of profits.

Actually it's really depend on the situation. If you speculate the price of bitcoin will increase soon, it's better to save your coins and if you speculate the price going down, it's better to sell it. It's depend.

That's right but its difficult to judge what will be the exact scenario in coming days, coming to perfect conclusion is almost impossible in bitcoins as it can go in any direction.

Yeah i also think If only have 1 miner hardware better use the money for buying bitcoin then hold it till the price rise because after half you get small reward from mining.

That is true. If you do not have big farms and cheap electricity, it is better to buy the bitcoin directly.

If I would be mining I would save them up for later because of the fact the bitcoin has a good future a head and it will got to a higher amount soon or later.
Its gonna rise soon and than we can make some good profit.

Yes i do the same like that i keep it for a while and wait to reach the higher level of bitcoin price. If i mine many maybe the haĺf i sell it and the half i save it for me to get a good profit. Many can say bitcoin that getting higher soon so that i save some to wait that time.

It is possible that the bitcoin price will rise higher. but it depends on the future development of the coin.

I think saving is a better option. Save the money for this winter, sell it on Christmas, keep the money and buy again by the next spring. The chances are Bitcoin will rise up to 100x or even more until the winter of 2017. Big chances, big opportunity. I'm going to do this but I first have to find where to sell it at in my country. I don't trust person in person exchange and I don't want to go to another country where there are ATMs to sell it.

I think the mined coins can better be sold when the price is at highest point because you wont make profit by holding mined coins because the mining factor is not profitable after the halving you know.

I don't know, cause i am not a miner, but at my opinion better to sell everything actually to have enough money everytime on different upgrades.

I don't agree, I'd sell as much as I need to cover the bills which were made by mining and save the rest of the bitcoins. They are kinda stabelish now but they will go up again for sure.

Yeah, saving might mean a great future for you. If the same thing will happen as it did in 2013 after the halving, we will all be rich here. Grin

True saving is the best option in my opinion but anyways this thread is so old and mining solo at home for example is not profitable anymore. But to your question to save or sell bitcoin, save it!

But you will never know if the price of bitcoin will go up or down. Unless you have an insider information (with the whales),  then you can't know exactly what will happen in the future. I say, just save the coins and if you feel like selling some for consumption, then never sell in a price is lower than the price when you received those coins.
