Yeah betting on sport is gambling, if you place bet on a game and want your money double in return than this is gambling. There are many sports on which people place betting like Cricket, Football etc.

even if you are winning in your bets on sports it is still gambling because there is a risk involved and you will lose someday even if you have had a good winning streak with no loss.
that is how gambling works you take a risk with your money and then if you are lucky you win and if not you lose, and sports betting makes no difference.

True, sports betting  is also gambling since it involves betting which means you risking money for a certain thing.  Sports betting has lesser risk compared  to  dice games on my opinion because you could study first the  team or player  you would place your bet but still you need also luck in order to win unlike dice games  which is like you gamble blindly.
