What's a normal hashrate for one 280x? I keep getting 1.4/1.5, but according to dr. Google i could get ~2-2.5?

Core 1100 Mem 1500
Intensity at 14

I don't get it.

I get 1.4-1.5 too . This is 14 round blake, not 8 round, don't forget that

Ocminer, as soon as you have a windows.exe miner let us know and post link. I can test with AMD 280x or Nvidia 980M if a miner is available.

Here, I made binaries of OCMiner's git. My signature on these certifies that they are compiled from the same code on his git - I made no mods except what I needed to in order to make it cross-build for Win64. It does NOT certify that I vouch for the code, as I've not gone over it. Anyways, yeah, have some:

https://ottrbutt.com/miner/downloads/decred-cgminer/wolf-decred-cgminer-ocminer-02022016-win64.zip
https://ottrbutt.com/miner/downloads/decred-cgminer/wolf-decred-cgminer-ocminer-02022016-win64.zip.sig

Now I have to go diff the bugfixes done by ocminer and the bugfixes done by one of the Decred devs against my own private copy of cgminer that's been heavily edited and merge in the bug fixes, so I'll be busy for a bit.

linux please wolf? ...

#crysx

Thanks a lot Wolf, my changes are only in "cgminer.c" - the endianness of "roll_work" was switched, so it isn't too much, but I've noticed a few other places in the code where the endianness *SHOULD* be obviously wrong too but I did not change it (for now) as the miner is working and I'm by far no expert with miner coding Smiley

IMHO the code needs a major cleanup, I like ccminer/cpuminer much more for coding such things, it's much easier to understand (for me).

@crysx you need a compiled linux version ? It's as easy as "sh autogen.sh" then "./configure" and "make" Smiley

no - i never need the compiled version guys ...

im looking for the git ...

ocminer - yours in cloned and setup - but refuses to compile ...

wolf - i was asking for the git for your version so that i can compile ...

one of the two of your should work ...

and im looking for a ccminer version - as thefarm will be sitting there idly by if i dont get a nvidia version compiled ...

#crysx

Mine's not on git... also, there's not a ccminer version, but you know CGMiner runs on Nvidia, too.

it doesnt compile - at all ...

cgminer crashes on almost every compile ...

i shut the worker down for now - as it was an adhock setup on a small table in the corner of the office ( i am a few days away from setting farmamd back up ) ...

ill try again when i get back in a few hours ...

and no - i didnt know cgminer runs off nvidia also ... i thought it required a cuda installation for it - unless it runs off just opencl ...

tanx guys ...

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Thanks for your efforts. I can't make a connection to your pool yet, I use this line to start cgminer:

cgminer --blake256 -u username.worker -p x -o stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:9110

Where username.worker is of course my own ;-) Am I doing anything wrong here?

When the main net launches,  I thought that it was on 3rd February, as the test net was launched on about 27th January and it was previously being said that it will be launched about a week later after the launch of test net if no major bug is found.

According to the last announcement on the Official Forum https://forum.decred.org (that i suggest to stick and keep under the radar) "The Mainnet launch is scheduled for 12:00 PM CST February 8th, 2016!"
There you will stay tuned with all info and other announcement, and ask for all technical support you need. The community is very friendly here Smiley

So today we have the 3rd of February. It would be good to have further information from the devs regarding the launch of the main net.
Looking forward to the start. Missed the airdrop but there will be some dumpers that will wipe out there coins at the very beginning, if this goes to an exchange.  Smiley

I don't know if someone will dump his coins, but for sure at the launch will be chepaer than later, the project looks solid and tey are building a strong community.
Looks like the first exchange where Decred will land is Bleutrade...probably no hig volumes here compaed to others exchange, but major exchange will follow.

And at the moment is already possible to testnet the wallet, the miner and the daemon!

Hey folks,

I've got a DCR Pool ready for testing:

https://dcr.suprnova.cc

First the credits:
Thanks to ceejep and Wolf for the (really crazy) cgminer stuff and feeleep for the getwork and mpos testing/developing.

I'm using a special version of cgminer with some fixes, as while I was testing I encountered several problems with the original DCR cgminer implementation. My fork is here:

https://github.com/ocminer/cgminer-decred

In the original version endianness was incorrect, so (in my testing) blocks were found much less than expected, in the corrected version from my github you should find blocks (when pool mining) much more often. My version should also work on every other pool but not vice versa, so the official version is (not yet) working on my pool, you'll only get rejects. I'm in contact with cejep @ IRC to get my fixes commited to the official version and I'll also create a pull request soon. I'm still trying to get stratum implemented but there are STILL a lot of bugs and swapped things (big endian should be little endian) in cgminer. I hope to get most of the stuff fixed until the launch. Duplicate shares are a rather big problem currently.

Again: Please don't point the compiled official version to my pool - they won't work - you'd need to compile from my source !

Please be so kind and point your miner to my pool to see if the hashrate matches. Several blocks were found already, statistics are okay, hashrate calc seems to be ok and things like payouts etc. have to be tested.

Of course the pool is completely free for now, I'll add a 1% fee later on. If you see anything weird, please let me know. Either via PM here on bitcointalk or you can also get me on Twitter: @SuprnovaPools http://twitter.com/SuprnovaPools

Hey oc, everything is working good on the pool, speed, stats + payouts. Thanks a lot, looking forward for the launch !

Very interesting project, unfortunate that Nvidia miners are not getting the same love as AMD

Do we need to crowd fund to get something valid released?

Maybe we just do not have enough Nvidia miners to Justify our existence.

Pretty sure it's gonna be on Bittrex also. bittrex-richie has been lurking in #decred on freenode for a couple weeks at least I think.
